With school and home activities in full swing, including schedules, games, homework, and business planning, we also cherish the memories of our own school days and how quickly summer flew by. Hopefully, we can enjoy some leisurely last trips to the pool and the outdoors as we prepare for fall.

For me, September was always a great time of year, as it was my grandmother’s birth month, and we were very close. She was a creative lady whose style was expressed through her art, with watercolor being her medium of choice. She enjoyed experimenting with silversmithing alongside a close friend and always sought new ways to incorporate various types of art paper into her creations. Style, in my opinion, is in the eye of the creator. With that being said, we welcome you to the 2024 Style issue!
From makeovers with hair, nails, aesthetics, and skin care to chic closets, we have all sorts of tips and tricks for you in myriad areas of style! We loved curating these for you, and we’re excited to see what you think!
As always, we appreciate each and every partnership and our readers, and we look forward to many more relationships as we continue to grow and serve your needs in business, connections, and local resources. Please give us a shout and stop by our office to say hello! We love meeting the folks who make up this incredible community, and we’re here for you!
Be the light for others- you never know when someone needs the gifts you have to give the world! It’s your own style that matters!
Happy September!

This guy is definitely the star of his own movie. One thing you can’t deny is that he’s got style, even if it’s out. But everyone knows that the true test of a dog’s character is his behavior. Any dog can look the part, but can he actually act it? At DTE, we make sure that every character we turn out is the real deal. We believe that actions speak louder than barks, growls, and whines. If you’re wanting your “Lil’ Man” to step up and “do the right thing,” call us and we’ll provide the training that your K9 truly needs to earn the Oscar.

With a delicate touch and an eye for detail, skilled aestheticians work their magic, sculpting and enhancing luscious lashes and perfectly contoured brows. Sage & Vine dedicates itself to the power of self-care and the artistry that elevates natural beauty to extraordinary heights.

For top-notch lash extensions and lash lifts, Sage & Vine delivers the best. With a variety of designs to choose from, such as Cat Eye, Open Eye, Kitten Eye, and Wispy Style, you are sure to be delighted with the stylish outcome. To maintain the quality of the extensions, it is recommended that lash fills are received every two weeks. Sage & Vine is also the premier provider of lash lifts and tints. A lash lift is a perm for natural lashes, giving them a curled and darker look for 6-8 weeks. This low-maintenance service is perfect for those who prefer not to wear mascara or have regular lash extension fill appointments.
At Sage & Vine, they’re dedicated to perfecting your brows and enhancing your natural beauty. Their brow lamination service is designed to give you high shine and fullness lasting 6-8 weeks, making it a great long-term investment. When combined with their brow tinting, it improves the natural shape and fullness of your brows, with the color lasting just as long. They also offer Henna brow tinting, which tints the skin for about two weeks, making it perfect for thinning or gapped brows. To complete your look, Sage & Vine offers brow waxing using gentle yet effective hard wax that prioritizes your skin’s health.
For the best brows and lash care, a visit to Sage & Vine is a must! Their expertise and services ensure the well-being and impeccable appearance of your brows and lashes. To schedule an appointment and see a complete list of services Sage & Vine offers, visit: sagevineaesthetics.com

Braids to Keep You Chic All Year Long

Part hair down the center. Create pull-through braids on each side of the head. Tie elastic at the end of the braids to create a ponytail at the nape of the neck. For extra volume in the buns, tease the hair in the ponytail before twisting it into a bun. Secure with hair pins and... Voilà!

Place a bandana on the forehead and tie it in the back. Create as many braids as desired in the back of the head, teasing the ends to avoid using elastics.

Part the top half of the hair in two sections. Create fishtail braids (or braids of choice) and tie them together in the back of the hair. Add a fashion accessory around a ponytail for a little extra fun!
