Shannon accepted this position almost two months after his predecessor, Mike Salamone, resigned. According to The Medina Gazette, Shannon "held the position of general manager/safety director for Cleveland Lakefront Lines Coach USA" for the last two years and "previously held positions with the Greater Dayton RTA, Central Ohio RTA and Stark Area RTA, where he held leadership and supervisory roles within the organizations." He also spent more than a decade working at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, while he got his degree at Southeastern University.

This month, we take a closer look at the successful business with owner Joe Pavlovicz and his sister and office manager, Kristin Bishop, to see what it is that sets them apart from the rest. JTS Landscaping has been serving the area for nearly 25 years now, and Joe says he has many of his original customers and even some of the same employees he had when he started the business in 1994. “You know you’re kinda doing something right if you’ve had customers and employees who have been around for that long,” he says. "Kinda doing something right” may be a bit of an understatement and is definitely a sign of Joe’s humility when talking about his company’s award-winning work. Growing up on a dairy farm in Foxworth, Mississippi, Dwight says his father, Ora, has taught him everything he knows about the business industry and is one of his biggest role models. Another influence Dwight has come to appreciate includes the owner of LuxCraft, Brian Mullet, and his two brothers.
