75th Anniversary of the world's largest Valentine Re-Mailing Program The Loveland Chamber and Visit Loveland kicked off the 2021 valentine season in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Loveland’s Valentine Re-Mailing Program by unveiling the new Loveland valentine card, cachet, cancellation and USPS 2021 love stamp. The envelope artwork was designed by Corry McDowell and written by Judy Rethmeier: “Let’s unite our hearts this Valentine’s Day. Our Sweetheart City will lead the way.”

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Loveland Re-mailing program, the U.S. Postal Service partnered with the Loveland Chamber to announce their 2021 love stamp in the nation’s Sweetheart City. The first stamp in the series was issued in 1973. The postal service continues its popular Love Series with a new 55-cent forever stamp in 2021 that features a colorful and light-hearted digital illustration created by artist Bailey Sullivan under the direction of the U.S. Postal Service Art Director Greg Breeding, also CEO of Journey Group.

CHEDDAR AND SWISS CHEESE FONDUE INGREDIENTS + 1 Cup of grated Swiss cheese + 1 Cup of grated cheddar cheese + 1 Tbsp of flour (use gluten free flour if desired) + 1 Tsp of dry mustard + 1 Tsp of garlic powder + 1/2 to 3/4 cup of your desired beer + Cracked pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS 01 Pour your desired beer into the fondue pot and let it simmer until warm. 02 Toss the Swiss and cheddar cheeses in a small bowl with the flour until coated. 03 Add the garlic powder, pepper, and dry mustard to the warm beer. 04 Once the beer is warmed, begin adding the cheese one tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly with a rubber spatula. Continue to stir in all of the cheese until it’s melted into a thick cheese sauce consistency. 05 Serve right away with your favorite dippers

INGREDIENTS + 4 Ounces of milk chocolate chopped into small pieces + 6 Ounces of dark chocolate chopped into small pieces + 1/2-3/4 Cup of half and half or heavy whipping cream + 1/2 Tsp of vanilla extract + 3-4 Tbsp of raspberry liquor or your choice of liquor

DIPPERS Your options are limitless. Almost anything tastes amazing dipped in chocolate! + Strawberries + Oranges + Bananas + Raspberries + Blackberries + Graham Crackers + Marshmallows + Pretzels + Angel Food Cake

DIRECTIONS 01 Warm the half and half or heavy whipping cream in your fondue pot until it slightly simmers. 02 Add the chopped chocolate, one tablespoon at a time, stirring continually with a rubber spatula until the chocolate is melted. 03 Once the chocolate is melted, add your desired liquor and vanilla while continuing to stir until the mixture forms a runny, syrupy consistency. 04 Serve immediately with your favorite dessert dippers. HEN THE PANDEMIC HIT IN MARCH OF 2020, MANY

Due to hard work, a solid community, and a stroke of fame, Dr. Nathaniel “Boone” Caldon and Dr. Alexandra Hung have been able to withstand the pandemic with a successful dental practice. The couple, who became romantic a year and a half prior, made the decision to become business partners as well-- and it has proven to be a good one.

Since Dr. Nathaniel wasn’t allowed to see patients in his regular office, he started to see emergency patients full-time in Dr. Alex’s office

during the first three months of the pandemic. “Then, a completely amazing thing happened,” says Dr. Alex. “Telemundo found out we were open and that I was from Venezuela, which means we sometimes speak Spanish in the office. They did an interview with us and we became famous!” “She’s exaggerating,” says Dr. Nathaniel, laughing. “But, we had people coming from three to four hours away.” They did other interviews as well, and even more people came calling. Since August 2020, the one-room office they shared has now become Radiant Dental Health and occupies half of the second floor of the Miramont Family Medicine building. “Something the patients like is that we are not only business partners, but loving partners,” says Dr. Alex. “People feel the energy and they like it; it makes it like a family here.” You can follow Alex and Dr. Boone on face-
