RECENTLY PRESENTED ITS 26TH PHILHARMONIC HOUSE OF DESIGN: A 7,200-SQUARE-FOOT, HAMPTONS-STYLE MASTERPIECE LOCATED IN THE GUARDED COASTAL COMMUNITY OF MONARCH POINT. Perched high atop the bluff of Laguna Niguel mountain and offering panoramic vistas of Three Arch Bay’s whitecaps, Catalina Island and beyond, the East Coast-inspired home was transformed into a stunning masterpiece by interior designers from across Southern California. Each year, the house is held open for public tours, which include extended hours for “Meet the Designers” events on Thursday evenings. Proceeds from ticket sales benefit the Philharmonic Society’s nationally recognized Youth Music Education Programs. Situated on a palatial 31,000-square-foot lot, this year’s House of Design had its own private gate, encapsulating a circular motor court. Home features included a chef’s kitchen, a sauna and steam showers, rich hand-finished paneling, beautiful fireplaces and a luxury guesthouse. While this home was spectacular already, it underwent fresh renovations as acclaimed interior designers from across Southern California reinvented spaces with the latest interior design trends, transforming this home into a fabulous retreat.

Ning prints all of his images himself on highly reflective photographic paper that is then sandwiched between two layers of acrylic sheet, clear in front and opaque behind. His prints are characteristically heavily color saturated which also contributes to their appearing to glow as though backlit.
