Welcome to Our Home THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR HOME IS IT’S THE ONLY ONE EXACTLY LIKE IT. Sure, some of your neighbors’ homes may have a similar style or paint color. But the way you decorate each room and the memories you create make it uniquely yours. “Home is where the heart is.” It’s a common phrase meaning that our homes are a central place in our lives—where we rest our heads, nourish our bodies and make fond memories with loved ones. It’s the epicenter of our worlds, where we start and end each day, and where we keep our most prized possessions.

TIPS + Less is more + Clear clutter from your home and office. + Clear out your electronic Inbox. + Remove yourself from mailing lists (paper and electronic). + Purge and repurpose anything you no longer love, use, or wear. + Be mindful of what you allow in your space and on your calendar. + Allocate your time wisely. + Ask for help when you feel overwhelmed or stuck.
DELAYED DECISION DISORDER (DDD) + Keep –Remember, A place for everything and everything in its place. + Toss/Recycle – Things that are no longer useful to you or to anyone else. + Donate/Gift – Things that no longer serve you well, but can serve someone else. This is not a true disorder, but it is definitely a factor in clutter accumulation. Delayed decisions disorder is also known as procrastination or avoidance. The only remedy to DDD is to stop doing it. Make decisions about everything in your space and identify things you want to Keep, Toss/Recycle, or Donate/Gift.

eating healthy is just a prep away WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED - LOCALLY OWNED MEAL PREP AND DELIVERY SERVICE
WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED LLC IS A FAMILY RUN MEAL PREP COMPANY. Owner, Audrey Heine, has been providing healthy pre-prepped meals to Gilbert families since 2012. They grow many of the ingredients that are used in the meals. “What we aren’t growing we shop locally. We are now a part of the Agritopia CSA. Each week we pick up locally grown fruits and vegetables to use in our meals. For example, when we get oranges, we will use the whole orange. We use the inside of the orange for sauces and the rind for orange zest in seasonings.” Says Heine. When you choose local companies, not only are you supporting your community, but eating locally sourced foods can help with allergies by building up your immune system. wevegotyoucoveredllc.com

Salads In a Jar are an easy weeknight prep for lunch, once assembled salads can last 4-6 days
Layering is the key to fresh salads, always put dressing at the bottom, then layer harder vegetables, greens on top

INGREDIENTS - GET CREATIVE USE WHAT YOU HAVE With leftovers, depending on what it is, think can I make this into a rice bowl? Can I add some vegetables to this to make a meal? Can I use what I brought home in a different fashion? 01 Cut meat up to add to quinoa and vegetables. 02 Have french fries? cut them up, throw them in a skillet with some veggies and some seasoning and now you have a great side dish 03 Have lunch meat? Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray. Heat oven to 350. Place a piece of lunch meat in each muffin cup to form a “bowl”. Go crazy, crack an egg into the meat bowl, throw some veggies in, and cheese. Season. Bake for 20 minutes. Makes a great “fast food” meal. 04 Spice up any quick meal by adding Hoodoo BBQ spices available at Agritopia Farm Night. 18

BUYING A NEW BUILD HOME CAN COME WITH ITS OWN UNIQUE SET OF CHALLENGES AND STRESSES. Going through the process alone, can mean unbridled decision making that may hinder an optimal end result. Mark Sloat, CFP® of The Sloat Group of Realty ONE discusses the benefits of having a seasoned realtor on your team when purchasing a new build home in Gilbert. “Buying a new construction home has many Toll Brothers Homes WhiteWing, Gilbert, AZ
advantages. New builds generally offer the latest smart-home technology, require less maintenance, typically include a 1-year home warranty provided by the builder, and most importantly offer buyers the freedom of choice when it comes to upgrades and options.” said Mark Sloat. Choosing to call Gilbert home has many advantages including outdoor activities, low crime rates, great education options, and reasonable home pricing which contributes to the demand for homes in the town. Mayor Jenn Daniels, along with other community leaders, are applying forward thinking development practices and considering the voice of current residents to truly build a great town. Steps like securing a substantial water lease recently with the San Carlos Apache Tribe are gaining the attention of top employers around the state, most notably Northrup Grumman and Deloitte, who now call Gilbert home. Depending on what you order, you may need some of your own supplies. When you select your meals, think about what you will need to cook the food in and if any other kitchen utensils would be helpful. Have them ready to go so you don’t have to make any last-minute trips to the store, defeating the purpose of getting your box delivered! FROM COLOR PALETTES AND DECORATING MATERIALS TO ROOM SIZES, LIGHTING AND BUDGET, THERE ARE MANY FACTORS THAT NEED TO BE CONSIDERED WHEN CREATING THE IDEAL OVERALL AMBIENCE AND LOOK OF YOUR HOME. A significant challenge many homeowners face is a difficulty in defining their personal interior design style. With the overwhelming abundance of options, it can be daunting to decipher which style will work best for you. A great starting point for any interior design project is to envision the feeling you want to have when you are in each room.
