LOCAL LIMELIGHT INDULGE BARTENDER FILLS A DRIVE TO CREATE AND A GAP IN SUPPLY

ARTICLE SONJA NIX

B OW NERD YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT NECESSITY, MOTHER AND INVENTION? Trevor Nelsen found himself smack dab in the middle of the three when the lack of affordable work accessories and a pandemic sparked his desire to create. With extra time on his hands, the bartender at Indulge Bistro and Wine Bar Southglenn had a sudden urge to make bow ties during Covid and realized the leftover fabric was perfect for masks. He stole his aunt’s pattern for masks, as they were the most comfortable around, and started sewing. From there, he has begun growing a small business to supply bows and other accessories, including his most popular fanny packs, all highly customizable and unique. THE JOY OF REMODELING SINCE 1997...

FBC Remodel has aimed to transform the remodeling process. The goal? Truly stress-free construction with innovative custom design. Patrick Condon, Founder and CEO of FBC Remodel, began his vision 24 years ago, building basements out of the back of a work van. Today, he’s seen his initial dream — the Finished Basement Company, develop into a full-service award-winning interior remodeling company, FBC Remodel that brings that vision to life for kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes and more. Throughout name changes and new services being developed, the vision has always remained the same - a remodeling company that truly builds more than beautiful spaces, it builds joy. “I believe what we truly offer our homeowners is an experience that lasts,” said Condon, “We believe in finding the joy in everything we do and creating relationships that last the test of time.” Today, FBC Remodel is known by their clients for their unique design-build process and the quality of their remodels. In fact, 40 percent of FBC Remodel clientele is made up of repeat or referral clients. Paula Feit, an FBC Remodel homeowner said: “Our designer kicked this off on the right foot with design that reflected our style and what we really wanted to have in our home. Our project manager, Jamie, was responsive and proactive - addressing potential issues before we did. We love our new basement!” FBC Remodel is currently offering free virtual design consultations to start your home remodel today.
