THE JOY OF REMODELING SINCE 1997...
FBC Remodel has aimed to transform the remodeling process. The goal? Truly stress-free construction with innovative custom design. Patrick Condon, Founder and CEO of FBC Remodel, began his vision 24 years ago, building basements out of the back of a work van. Today, he’s seen his initial dream — the Finished Basement Company, develop into a full-service award-winning interior remodeling company, FBC Remodel that brings that vision to life for kitchens, bathrooms, whole homes and more. Throughout name changes and new services being developed, the vision has always remained the same - a remodeling company that truly builds more than beautiful spaces, it builds joy. “I believe what we truly offer our homeowners is an experience that lasts,” said Condon, “We believe in finding the joy in everything we do and creating relationships that last the test of time. Today, FBC Remodel is known by their clients for their unique design-build process and the quality of their remodels. In fact, 40 percent of FBC Remodel clientele is made up of repeat or referral clients. Scott Franklin, who had his basement finished by FBC Remodel said, “We could not be happier with the addition to our home. There were many things about our experience that differentiated FBC from the other options we considered. Their communication and responsiveness were first class throughout the duration of the project. We would recommend FBC Remodel to anyone.” FBC Remodel is currently offering free virtual design consultations to start your home remodel today.

One of the biggest surprises of the last decade was the return of the scrunchie as an accessory trend. 80s fashionistas who embraced, then suddenly rejected the trend did not understand how much better scrunchies are for hair, as traditional hair bands cause breakage. Good thing Addyson Malach and best buddy Avery Young re-embraced the trend. Misster Scrunchie was born out of a 6th grade “Shark Tank”-inspired school project. Students conceptualized a business and created a product. The friends decided the idea was strong enough to bring to market. Don’t be fooled by the age of the founders or the product they make, they are savvy social media creators and business managers. Misster Scrunchie has one to two product launches a month. They hand make just enough inventory for their forecasted sales per launch and don’t keep back stock of most items. This allows them to adjust quickly to changes in trends, seasonal color preferences, etc. Once a product in a launch is sold out, it is gone. They even offer subscription boxes.
In addition to scrunchies, Misster Scrunchie sells large barrettes, banana clips and athletic hair ties. Find them @missterscrunchie on Instagram
