he penultimate month of the year is always a special one—one in which we're reminded of the wealth of gratitude we have for the people in our lives and for the Hendersonville community.

The air is crisp, the leaves are changing and the year, although winding down, is as busy as ever, but we can't help but take some time to sit down and think about what we're thankful for. We're thankful for friends and family. We're thankful for health, happiness and prosperity, and, here at Hendersonville Lifestyle, we're especially thankful for you. As we take the time to put together the issues from month to month, you—the readers—are always in our minds. We strive to bring you the good news of the Hendersonville community—to fill the pages of this magazine with the people and stories you care about—and we're thankful you take the time to join us each month. This November, take some time to sit down and think about what you're thankful for. hen country music artist Kix Brooks recorded the line “Pour us a glass of wine” from his 2012 song In The Right Place, we’ll never know if he was perhaps thinking of enjoying that glass of wine in his beautiful vineyards located in the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee. But what we do know is that Arrington Vineyards, owned by Brooks, winemaker Kip Summers and entrepreneur John Russell, has truly become “Nashville’s Wine Country.” Whether you’re looking to explore the scenic grounds or simply enjoy a leisurely day doing nothing, Arrington Vineyards welcomes guests with open arms. Nestled among the beautiful hills of Arrington, Tennessee, your visit to the vineyards will leave you with a renewed sense of serenity. Arrington Vineyards was originally established in 2003 when winemaker Summers—and another wine enthusiast and their families—purchased a 25-acre hog farm in Arrington, and soon after began clearing the land and planting grapevines.
