4305 Gray Oaks - 37204 - $834,500 This slow Green Hills street is, perhaps, the first sign that you will have that this is the neighborhood for you. Just off of Lealand, Gray Oaks Drive is tucked within a small hidden part of Green Hills that is less traveled- in fact, it IS the road less travelled. Quietly sitting on a lage parcel of land that used to be part of the Nashville Zoo’s alligator exhibit, this setting will make your cares slip away the moment you park in your deep two car heated and cooled garage. Stepping through the mudroom, you will enter your living room and open dining room and look further to see your bright huge chef’s kitchen with a six burner gas stove on the island. Off this large kitchen is the screened porch which opens to the back yard and its grill area and workshop. Inside the house, you will find the master and its HUGE bathroom and his and her closets on the main floor. There are three bedrooms , tow full baths, and an office upstairs. The HVAC systems are in great condition and there is no need to fear ever losing power here: there is a whole house generator . Built of brick, this two story home has its playroom and office on the second floor. This home is easy to show and easy to fall in love with. Come prepared to move in!

2815 22nd Avenue - 37215 - $635,000 Eight stepping stones walk you up to this cottage of love. Here, your heart will jump as you walk into the plaster 10’ high walls and 1942 unbeatable charm. You cannot find the warmth of this house in the new builds, this house wraps its arms around you as you walk from each large room to the next. On the main level of the home are three nice bedrooms and 1 and a half full baths. The study or den is off of the renovated kitchen. On the other side of the kitchen is the mudroom which opens up to the large deck in the fenced back yard. Upstairs you will find a gorgeous master bath and the master bedroom which features a cubby area for the bed: think English Cottage Upstairs Bedrooms. There is also a nursery or office on this floor. On the full basement, workshop level, you will love the large utility room and the playroom/workout room. Love is in the air in this home; come feel it!

ONE PHENOMENON STIRRING IN TENNESSEE’S CAPITAL HAS BEEN THE COLLECTIVE PROMOTION OF ART BY MANY SMALL GALLERIES TO SHOWCASE COLLECTIVE EXHIBITIONS AND EVENTS ESPECIALLY AIMED AT ENGAGING THE PUBLIC. Seed Space, at Track One, 1201 Fourth Ave. S, remains at the forefront of contemporary art practices, focusing on installations, sculpture and performance-based arts. In the past, the gallery showcased artists like Brad McCombs, Jack Ryan and Robbie Lynn Hungsinger, who create conceptually driven works in the newest media. The mission of Seed Space’s managers is to function as a center for debate and dialogue among local and national protagonists of the artistic community. Art critics, curators and professionals are invited to the gallery to offer opinions of the presented exhibitions or to engage in talks and lectures about the current state of the arts.

CUMBERL AND GALLERY

Established in 1980, Carol Stein’s Cumberland Gallery exhibits well-established and promising emerging artists. Tennessee and the Southeast are its primary focus, but national-level artists also are represented in a variety of media, including painting, works on paper, photography and sculpture. Cumberland Gallery participates in contemporary art fairs in Miami and Los Angeles. Visitors to Cumberland Gallery can view pieces, such as the one published here, which is Bob Nugent’s “Jardim Inhotim #2.” Bob says his work refers to Brazilian travels, specifically along the Amazon River Basin. “Naturalistic forms resembling beehives, vertebrae, cocoons, anthills, plant forms and insects are spread across the surface of the work. It transcribes a memory of objects and impressions of what was seen and felt.” The artist says Brazil and the Amazon River Basin have inspired his work for more than 25 years. “The Amazon River is an apt metaphor for the act of churning up remembered objects and sights, gathered while traveling along its rough course. In its flow, the river boils an object to the surface only to swallow it up again to resurface later. These impressions are a memory of the river bound on both sides by a high, dark jungle; foreboding and beautiful. If it takes you in, it takes you in whole,” he says. + 4107 Hillsboro Circle

“I needed to create a space that could change from location to location without a lot of moving scenery. With just a few pieces and lighting, we change where the action is taking place.” The tone and colors of the set are very earthly and textural, Gary explains. He says there will be many heavy beams, inlaid brick and large shutters, all done in a rustic manner. “The set is very much William Shakespeare’s life in the rough-and-tumble world of Elizabethan theater,” he adds. “Green Hills Pediatric Dentistry is absolute perfection from the minute you walk through the door. Dr. Brittany was so great with my kids, it is obvious she loves what she does. She could not have been any sweeter and she has a natural ability to connect with children and make them feel comfortable. We are so happy we found this office and have recommended them to all of our friends.” - Stephanie M. “Dr. Brittany and her team are so kind and put both of my kids at ease. I wish I was a patient too!” - Mary Claire D. “This is the nicest office I have ever been to.” - Karen B.
