We also included some of the best coffee houses in town that are worth seeking out. Grab a friend and go catch up over a pumpkin latte. Food brings us all together, and we couldn’t be luckier when it comes to the deeply rooted dining options we have right here in Greeley. We think you’ll agree when you flip through these pages! Lastly, we conclude the issue with a touching story of a local Mom and cancer survivor sharing her journey with us and the support that has led her to good health. When you dine at the restaurant, the family wants you to feel like you’re eating at home. The décor and atmosphere certainly present that. They even have a private dining room that seats up to 14 guests to reserve for those special occasions. The quality and authenticity of the food are the highest priorities of the family. Mike’s grandfather brought the family recipes in his pocket when they immigrated from Italy in the early 1900’s. They were passed on from generation to generation. In fact, Mike is now the holder of the original papers containing the recipes and, someday, Jorden will take possession of the cherished document. CONTINUED >

JENN SEBESTA’S STORY ARTICLE
COLORADO NATIVE JENN SEBESTA IS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH. Jenn is an upbeat wife and mother of three who grabs life by the horns. In December 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic and four days after her 29th birthday, Jenn was diagnosed with endocervical adenocarcinoma cancer. After a recommendation from her OB/GYN, Jenn became a patient of Dr. Robin Lacour, a Gynecological Oncologist, at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at North Colorado Medical Center. What started as a group of cells eventually grew into a tumor approximately 5 cm in size by January 2021. “Anytime you hear the word cancer, it’s very scary. But Lacour told me she would have a huge team looking at my tumor case. That helped relieve everything.” For Jenn, this support system helped her get through her treatment process both emotionally and mentally. Jenn points out that this special patient-doctor relationship began as soon as she started
