SWEET SIGNS OF THE SEASON AT OAK GROVE FARMS

EXCLUSIVE REVEAL: THE SECRET PROJECT TIM TEBOW HAS BEEN HOLDING CLOSE TO HIS HEART

APRIL 2026

Investing In What Matters

April is a season of renewal. The days grow longer, gardens begin to wake and our community seems to collectively step outside to embrace the beauty of a new season. It’s the perfect time to reflect on what it truly means to invest.

When we think of investment, many of us immediately think of finances or business—but the truth is, some of our most meaningful investments look a little different. They show up in the ways we care for our families, support our neighbors, nurture our health and cultivate the places we call home.

This month, we’re highlighting people and businesses who are investing deeply in the future of Gallatin.

You’ll meet the incredible farmers behind Oak Grove Farms, who are investing in the health of our community by growing fresh, local food right here at home. And the timing couldn’t be sweeter—it’s strawberry season, y’all. There’s something special about seeing those first bright red berries of the season and knowing they were grown with care just down the road.

We’re also sharing ways local businesses are helping our community grow and thrive. From BlueCore, helping businesses invest wisely in their IT infrastructure and digital future, to Dive Barre, where investing in your mind and body becomes a powerful act of self-care.

In this edition, we’re also honored to share an exclusive City Lifestyle feature with Tim Tebow, whose message about faith, leadership and purpose deeply resonated with our team after hearing him speak at our recent corporate conference. His words were a powerful reminder that the greatest investments we make are often in people—lifting others up, serving our communities and living with intention.

Because real investment goes far beyond dollars and cents. It’s about investing in our people, our families, our health and our community.

As spring unfolds, gardens begin to bloom and new beginnings appear all around us. It’s a beautiful reminder that the seeds we plant today—whether in business, relationships or our own well-being—have the power to grow into something meaningful tomorrow.

I’m so proud to share these stories with you and grateful to be part of a community that continues to invest in what truly matters.

Here’s to a season of growth, gratitude and fresh starts.

With appreciation,

Truly Matters IT INVESTMENT THAT

BlueCore Technologies: Proactive MSP Partner Offers Planning, Support, Network Management To Help Businesses Thrive

ARTICLE BY JULIE BROWN PATTON | PHOTOGRAPHY BY KAT BRADSHAW PHOTOGRAPHY
Courtney Paschall, MHA, managing partner/CEO at BlueCore Technologies

For today’s business owners, technology is no longer optional; rather it’s a wise and necessary investment to ensure business operations are protected and running as efficiently as possible, asserts Courtney Paschall, MHA, managing partner/CEO at BlueCore Technologies, a managed service provider with local customers as well as across the United States.

“When systems are unreliable or security is reactive, it affects a company’s productivity, reputation and ultimately profitability,” Courtney reminds, adding this fact is relevant in any industry with data and assets to protect, but is especially true in highly regulated sectors such as finance and health care.

“We work hard to take the headache and guesswork out of protection requirements so business owners and teams can focus on their specialties,” she states.

Investing in managed information technology is really an investment in continuity, protection and peace of mind. Courtney says she and her experts come from the knowledge that the cost of prevention is always lower than the cost of disruption. “This means choosing proactive support over emergency fixes, and partnering with people who understand that a business depends on stability and being able to work, is always a prudent move. We also believe IT should feel dependable and not complicated.”

In broader terms, Courtney says BlueCore is an outsourced IT department for many, different-sized organizations.

“We can manage the IT for both small and large companies with no internal IT staff, or we can act as a support extension for companies that have internal IT staff. We basically take care of any company that doesn’t want technology to be a daily stress point for them,” Courtney explains.

The BlueCore team handles vital IT components, such as network management, help desk, practical security, vendor coordination and long-term technology planning. They state their client support role and overall mission is to make sure systems are secure, stable and aligned with how each business actually operates.

“Security is foundational for us, not an add-on. Every BlueCore support plan includes regular security reviews, and best-practice protections are built into our support model. We try to do all of this in an easy to understand and jargon-free format,” Courtney adds, as a self-professed ‘Geek whisperer.’

She says they assist many customers with scaling for growth, devoting project and client success managers to help business representatives to open locations from the ground up. These services include coordinating data drops, securing Internet service providers, procuring the right hardware and setting up a new network or incorporating new locations into the current network.

BlueCore teams can serve as a help desk for a company’s employees, too. Employees can go straight to BlueCore to get IT issues resolved, Courtney assures, so they can resume work as quickly as possible. “We have live agents that answer phones during normal business hours, as well as a support email address that’s always manned during business hours.”

BlueCore also can provide after-hours help desk services for emergencies or customers with different hours.

Additionally, this IT team works with customers to onboard new employees, ensuring that their computer equipment is delivered for their first day at work, with the appropriate access to their network, information and software.

“WE CAN MANAGE THE IT FOR BOTH SMALL AND LARGE COMPANIES WITH NO INTERNAL IT STAFF, OR WE CAN ACT AS A SUPPORT EXTENSION FOR COMPANIES THAT HAVE INTERNAL IT STAFF. WE BASICALLY TAKE CARE OF ANY COMPANY THAT DOESN’T WANT TECHNOLOGY TO BE A DAILY STRESS POINT FOR THEM.”

Courtney says consistency and clarity set BlueCore apart from other MSPs.

“We work to make sure we don’t use industry terms or technical abbreviations to mask simple answers. If someone wants to understand the technical side, we take the time to respectfully explain it as many times as needed. That said, we also have customers that don’t want to know how technology works in detail, and we respect that, too,” she says.

“We work hard to understand our customers on personal levels and provide them with a personalized support plan.”

Part of BlueCore’s service is not outsourcing customer support so that their U.S. team can personally address any questions coming via phone calls or emails, without delays.

“We also try to be good partners to our customers, and believe we should earn their business. That’s why we offer 30-day-out agreements in the first year of our contracts. Even after the first year, we work hard to keep contract terms short. Our clients stay with us because they want to, not because they’re locked into long-term contracts,” Courtney states.

“In a field known for turnover and inconsistency, our team brings long-term experience and stability, and they all want to do a good job for our customers. With BlueCore, you get smart IT protocols, cybersecurity solutions, robust cloud services, responsive support, strong security, clear communication, personalized approaches and contract flexibility—all from a team dedicated to your success.”

'ORIGINAL TENNESSEE PINEAPPLE' BEARS FRUIT

OAK GROVE FARMS' OWNERS INVEST IN PRODUCE, FUTURE YEAR-ROUND GROCERY STORE

Some may believe it’s impossible to grow pineapples in Tennessee, however, married entrepreneurs Zach and Kyndle Erhard are proving that notion wrong.

PHOTOGRAPHY BY OAK GROVE FARMS AND AMANDA BRUSH PHOTOGRAPHY

Sugarloaf pineapples fit nicely into the other fruits and vegetables this couple grows to sell at their market in Gallatin at 517 W. Main St.: strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, black raspberries, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, potatoes, squash, zucchini, green beans and lettuces. The raw and unfiltered honey they offer comes directly from bees managed

by a local beekeeper at their farm. Peaches they sell come from Scott’s Orchard in Fayetteville.

Expected to open within the next few months is the couples’ latest venture: a brand-new grocery store being built on their 4-acre commercial lot. Zach says they’ve always had the dream of the store, but it wasn’t until the last couple of years they really started praying about how to make it become a reality.

“Our goal is to serve our community by providing consistent access to fresh, local produce and thoughtfully sourced goods year-round. Since 2012, we’ve operated under a temporary use permit that limited us to selling for only six months each year. This created a gap not just for our farm, but for families who rely on us for fresh and local food,” Kyndle explains.

“With this new build, we’ll finally be able to offer our produce and other locally made goods to meet a need we’ve seen firsthand in our community.”

She says they also recognized their area lacks a space that combines quality food with meaningful community connection.

“We don’t want this to be just a grocery store. We want it to be a place where people gather, work, learn and build relationships. Alongside the market, we’ll be opening Sow Coffee, proudly serving beans from our Nashville partner, Crema Coffee. This will create an inviting space where neighbors can meet, small groups can gather and families can linger,” she announces.

Ultimately, the Erhards are establishing this store to strengthen local food access, support other small businesses and create a welcoming space that brings community together.

“Oak Grove Farms has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined,” Kyndle states. “Now, we’re stepping into our biggest chapter yet

with a permanent grocery store with space that will allows us to offer even more of our farm-fresh produce and local goods while creating a welcoming hub for our community.”

This is full-circle moment, especially for Zach, whose roots are in Gallatin, where he started small, selling produce from tents on the roadside. Zach’s dream began in 2012 when he, as a driven 18-yearold, became a first-generation farmer, with his brother, Josh.

“It meant a lot of trials and errors, but we eventually got our first successful produce season,” Zach recalls.

The Erhards married each other at the farm during 2018, via a ceremony by the pond and a reception in their greenhouse. They began commercially cultivating Sugarloaf pineapples during 2023 on their property just outside of Gallatin. They planted more than 4,000 pineapple plants of this creamy, whitefleshed, ‘much sweeter than store-bought’ variety made famous by Kauaʻi islanders in Hawaii.

Successful cultivation in Tennessee requires growing pineapples in greenhouses to protect them from the cold. The couple uses a wood boiler, along with propane gas, to keep the pineapples nice

and toasty through cold winter months. While it can take roughly two years for pineapples to mature in Tennessee’s climate, Kyndle says it’s worth the wait for the taste of a sugarloaf pineapple.

In the store, they plan to still offer fresh produce, along with local dairy, meat, eggs, pantry staples and specialty goods from other small businesses. Kyndle says they’ll have baked goods supplied by local vendors with whom they’ve evolved, as well as from some new ones.

“Our coffee shop will also be open daily serving fresh coffee, pastries and more. We’re very excited to offer an outdoor space for families and friends to gather, in addition to two greenhouses where we’ll grow plants to sell,” she adds.

Other favorite local and regional vendors to be represented in the new space are: Mary Ella’s, Emerald Acres, Early Bird Flour Co, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Willa’s Shortbread, Ella’s Flats, Nicoletto’s Pasta and Masa Chips. Kyndle says they also will offer new, high-quality items as they thoughtfully build out their product selection. “Our goal is to have a mix of trusted favorites

“FOR US, FARMING HAS NEVER BEEN JUST ABOUT GROWING CROPS. IT’S ABOUT EDUCATING OUR COMMUNITY WHILE ALSO BUILDING LASTING RELATIONSHIPS.”

and unique finds that reflect our commitment to quality and supporting small businesses.”

Kyndle says the grocery store is a natural extension of their commitment to stewarding the land and strengthening area agriculture. “For us, farming has never been just about growing crops. It’s about educating our community while also building lasting relationships.”

By opening the store, she says they’re creating a consistent outlet for local farmers and producers who share their same values. “In many ways, the store isn’t separate from the farm; it allows us to continue telling the story of where food comes from, why it matters and how thoughtful agriculture can strengthen an entire community,” Kyndle assures.

Secure Eye-Catching Flower Arrangements

BRANDED BLOSSOM FLORIST & MERCANTILE PROVIDES HIGH-QUALITY FLORAL CURATIONS AND GIFTS FOR ALL OCCASIONS

Whether classic, traditional or modern floral arrangements are needed, IvieAnn Anderson Baker, owner of Branded Blossom Florist & Mercantile, assures she and her sister, Allie Anderson, can completely customize flower designs to match any occasion.

From their shop in Gallatin at 134 N. Locust Ave., IvieAnn says they design premium floral arrangements to meet different budgets and style expectations as well.

“We believe we offer one of the highest quality floral and eclectic gift selections. We invest in upscale flowers, known as luxury stems, due to their uniqueness and beauty,” she says.

IvieAnn started in the industry as freelancer in 2020, creating centerpieces for events and weddings florals.

"BRANDED BLOSSOM IS A FULL-SERVICE FLORIST

IN GALLATIN, OFFERING UPSCALE

FLOWERS AND A WIDE VARIETY OF GIFT ITEMS AS WELL."

As the business grew, she opened the shop in Gallatin during January 2021 to be a full-service florist providing daily floral deliveries to local residents, hospitals and funeral homes.

Branded Blossom carries sympathy gifts, green or blooming plants and sympathy keepsakes. They also provide door wreaths, luxury ribbons, unique pots, home décor and plush animals. Additionally, they custom-make gift baskets and fruit-gourmet snack baskets upon request.

IvieAnn especially enjoys designing bouquets for birthdays and get well wishes. She also creates and delivers stunning flower arrangements for funerals that convey sincere expressions of sympathy, ones that serve as lovely and thoughtful tributes to the deceased and their family. “In the last year or so, we feel more people have gained confidence in our ability to fulfill their tribute florals through us, as we have built a reputation in the community,” she shares.

Prom season typically brings in a new generation of customers. Parents and their teens stop in to customize their handheld bouquets, boutonnieres and/or corsages. “We combine their desired flowers and styles to complement their dresses and tuxes. Each is so beautifully unique, it’s rewarding seeing their finished looks,” IvieAnn assures.

When requested, exotic and tropical flowers, such as orchids and anthuriums, are ordered in to complete arrangements. IvieAnn says their flowers are imported from throughout the United States and neighboring countries, such as Holland and Ecuador. Some of their wintergreens get transported from Oregon or Washington. They also purchase from local flower farmers located  nearby in Portland and Cross Plains.

A portion of being a full-service florist is Branded Blossom’s ability to seasonally decorate porches or homes for holidays.

“Right now, there’s no better way to celebrate spring than with a beautiful bouquet of fresh flowers. We invite others to treat themselves to our Designer’s Choice arrangement or to send a dazzling floral gift to someone else to love. You’ll have everyone feeling the joy of spring when you have these seasonal flowers that brighten up a room,” states IvieAnn confidently.

DIVE BARRE BOUTIQUE STUDIO STAFF PROVIDES REFORMER PILATES, BARRE, YOGA, BUTI MOVEMENT, COMMUNITY AND LASTING, FUNCTIONAL FITNESS

PLUNGE INTO WELL-BEING

Julie Riemenschneider, Dive Barre & Pilates owner.

Advancing both body and mind, all in 50 minutes, all in one spot, is totally possible.

As owner/operator of the only boutique fitness studio on Gallatin Square, Julie Riemenschneider says everyone at Dive Barre & Pilates believes in embracing imperfections that make each person unique.

“We offer an inviting space to empower each person’s body through reformer and mat pilates, barre and yoga,” explains ‘head barretender’ Julie.

“Everyone can come as they are, ready to grow, connect and have fun. Our classes are designed to engage and strengthen the entire body while promoting mindfulness. Our goal is to guide members toward feeling their best, both inside and out.”

Julie explains reformer pilates is a low-impact, full-body workout performed on a specialized machine called a reformer, which uses a sliding carriage, springs, ropes and pulleys to provide resistance and support. She says this approach strengthens the body’s core, improves flexibility and enhances posture by offering a wide range of motion.

Through private or group classes, Julie says the Dive Barre instructors are happy to “do life together” with members. They state their classes help build emotional resilience and manage stress, too.

Julie says they have special bachelorette packages, group packages and class rates, including unlimited memberships, drop-in classes and reformer or nonreformer options. Anyone can sign up for a free Saturday class on the Dive Barre website, which is a nonintimidating session comprised of all people new to the class options.

“My own journey into pilates started a few years back, and the connection was so profound I dreamt of turning it into a career,” Julie recalls, when she previously was the office manager for local attorneys.

After being ill for 10 years, with 37 unexplained health symptoms, she says doctors finally discovered the cause. After the proper health care, she remembers feeling better within the first few days and wanting to do something different with her newfound energy. “Pilates seemed fancy, and I wanted to do something fancy,” she chuckles.

After her first 30-minute pilates class, she was in love. “And I wasn’t someone who had really worked out before that. I don’t know exactly how that class transcended me, but I cried in my car afterward.”

So she became a certified pilates Instructor, and eventually took the reins of Dive Barre in 2022.

Her mother started taking classes at age 73 and now devours three classes a week. The newest Dive Barre offering is Buti Movement, which blends power yoga, tribal dance, plyometrics and deep abdominal toning. The word Buti comes from Marathi, meaning “the cure to something hidden within.” It’s a reminder that what most people seek — peace, confidence, connection, groundedness — was never outside of them in the first place.

“I’m passionate about guiding members through their fitness journeys, whether its barre, pilates or yoga that ignites their spark,” Julie assures.

IROQUOIS SPRING STEEPLECHASE 85th Anniversary

'RITE OF SPRING' THROUGH AN EQUESTRIAN-ANCHORED, SOUTHERN HOSPITALITY ANNUAL TRADITION

ARTICLE BY JENNIFER KAUFMAN

There’s something about the first Saturday in May that feels quintessentially Nashville — wide-brim hats, polished boots and the thunder of hooves rolling across Percy Warner Park.  On May 9, the Iroquois Steeplechase returns for its 85th anniversary, ushering in another unforgettable “Rite of Spring.”

This year, the beloved tradition adds a new layer of energy with the debut of The Big 98 Stage, presented in partnership with iHeartMedia Nashville’s 97.9 The BIG 98.  Set in Centerfield, the live music stage will spotlight Nashvillebased artists throughout the day, blending Music City’s signature sound with one of the South’s most celebrated sporting events.

Of course, the heart of Steeplechase remains the racing itself with six exhilarating races. More than 30,000 spectators are expected to gather, embracing a day that seamlessly weaves sport, style and Southern hospitality.

From the reimagined Magnolia Garden’s all-inclusive elegance to the high-energy Royal 615 Lounge and classic tailgating traditions, there’s a vantage point for every kind of race-day reveler. Families can enjoy a dedicated children’s zone, while fashionistas compete in the always-anticipated Style Contest.  This event features something for everyone.

Beyond the pageantry, the event continues its philanthropic legacy, having contributed more than $11.4 million to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt since 1981.

Gates open at 8 a.m., and with music continuing into the evening, Steeplechase 2026 promises to be as vibrant and community-centered as ever — a Nashville tradition, beautifully evolved.

Redefining MVP: TIM TEBOW’S LIFE BEYOND FOOTBALL

An exclusive Q&A with City Lifestyle

PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED

From championship trophies to global humanitarian impact, Tim Tebow’s journey has defied every standard playbook. In an exclusive conversation for the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Tebow pulls back the curtain on the moments that truly defined him, from a humbling middle school church retreat to the life-altering shift of fatherhood. This isn’t just a look back at a career; it’s an invitation into the heart of a man driven by purpose. Read the highlights below, then join us for the full, unfiltered experience by scanning the QR code at the end.

Q: WE ALL KNOW YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD, BUT TELL US ABOUT THE CURL CONTEST.

A: I was competing for my future high school team (my brother’s team), and I pushed myself way past what was smart. I ended up collapsing and needing medical attention. But what stayed with me wasn’t the pain, it was the lesson. Would I be willing to do something that others aren’t? For much of my life, I strived to bring my best for a game, but I hope that I can say at the end of my life I was willing to do that for things that actually matter.

Q: YOU’VE ACHIEVED SO MUCH IN SPORTS. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT NOW?

A: Becoming a dad. Nothing compares. From the moment I knew my wife was pregnant, I felt a new depth of love for our child, but when you bring your baby home, the responsibility hits you like nothing else. Suddenly, everything you see, every decision you make, you’re asking, “Is this corner too sharp? What happens if she reaches that drawer?” It changes how you see the world and how you see other people.

Q: YOU’VE SPOKEN OPENLY ABOUT DISAPPOINTMENT, ESPECIALLY AROUND FOOTBALL. HOW DID THAT SEASON OF LIFE SHAPE YOU?

A: I talked a lot about that very thing in my book Shaken . We all go through moments where our faith in our abilities and purpose feels rattled, but I believe it’s often in those storms when God can show us who we could become.

Q: YOU TALK A LOT ABOUT COMPARISON CULTURE. WHY DO YOU BELIEVE COMPARISON HAS BECOME SUCH A TRAP TODAY?

A: Because we’re comparing our real, everyday lives to someone else’s highlight reel. Social media shows people’s “best day,” often filtered and staged, and then we measure our reality against that. There’s a reason filters are so popular—it’s not real. We end up scrolling through images that don’t tell the full story, and without realizing it, comparison starts to steal our joy and our gratitude.

“We’re comparing our real, everyday lives to someone else’s highlight reel... comparison starts to steal our joy.”

Q: YOUR FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON THE “MOST VULNERABLE.” WHERE DID THAT CALLING BEGIN?

A: When I was 15, I met a boy in the Philippines who was treated as a throwaway because he was born with physical differences. That moment changed me. I realized God was calling me to pursue a different kind of MVP, not “Most Valuable Player,” but “Most Vulnerable People.”

Q: FINALLY, WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?

A: I have some weird coffee habits, which include protein powder, collagen, and cream all mixed together. I love golf dates with my wife. And every night, I bring snacks to bed to share with our dogs. It brings me more joy than it probably should.

This conversation barely scratches the surface. Tim goes deeper into the moments that rattled him, the joys of fatherhood, and one story he has never shared publicly until now. Scan the QR code for the full, exclusive City Lifestyle interview on Share the Lifestyle Podcast.

FOUR SIMPLE WAYS TO INVEST IN YOUR MORNING AND START YOUR DAY OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT

habits morning for success

One of the best ways to invest in yourself is by creating a consistent and intentional morning routine. No matter how unpredictable or chaotic the rest of your day may become, starting your morning with self-care and purpose sets a positive tone that stays with you throughout the day.  Once you develop a morning routine that truly resonates with you, you’ll look forward to it every night, knowing it will set the foundation for a productive and fulfilling day.

If you’re ready to elevate your mornings, here are some meaningful ways to invest in your routine and start each day on the right foot.

Be Your Own Barista:

One of life’s simplest pleasures is savoring a homemade coffee each morning. While skipping the drivethru may be tough at first, brewing your own allows you to appreciate the process—and chances are, you’ll end up preferring your own perfect cup of joe.

Get Your Steps In:

An hour-long gym session before work may not be realistic, but a quick morning walk is. Use this time to clear your mind, enjoy nature, and listen to your favorite podcast or artist—an easy way to start your day feeling relaxed.

Enjoy Some Breakfast:

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet often the most overlooked. Setting your alarm just minutes earlier to prepare a fresh, nutritious meal can transform your morning, fueling your body and mind for a more energized and productive day.

Read A Book:

Starting your day with a book is far more calming than scrolling through social media. Reading in the morning helps ease you into the day, providing a peaceful and mindful escape that sets a positive, focused tone for what’s ahead.

FAMILY TIME is the Best Investment

EAT DINNER TOGETHER AS A FAMILY.

This meaningful time around the table is where connections happen. Let everyone share good moments from the day or something they struggled with. Create a jar of conversation starters, exchange giggles and cook up something delicious.

CREATE SURPRISES

Everyone likes to feel special – and surprised. The littlest things make the biggest impact: A backyard picnic; a sleepover in an indoor fort; an after-school ice cream treat; a bathroom spa day.

CREATE FAMILY TRADITIONS

Build weekly or monthly traditions – movie nights with popcorn, board game marathons, a gratitude jar, evening bike rides, living room dance parties,

even a family book club to discover old favorites and new reads.

EXPRESS LOVE AND GRATITUDE

In busy seasons, it’s easy to forget to let a loved one feel appreciated and thought of. Tuck a hand-written note in a lunch box or give an unexpected hug; spend time sharing what you’re thankful for about them.

KEEP GENERATIONS LINKED

Consider Sunday meals with grandparents or weekly phone calls if distance separates. Invite them to share their childhood stories and treasured memories. Start a yearly family scrapbook filled with favorite photographs and vacation souvenirs.
