November – Give Thanks And Meet Frisco Life's New Publisher FRISCO, WHAT ARE YOU THANKFUL FOR THIS YEAR? When we look around,

we have so many reasons to count our blessings. This month, I have a truly fresh and exciting development for which to be thankful. As the new publisher of Frisco Life, I'm reminded of the thoughtful, kind and generous people we have living among us as our neighbors and friends. My wife, Jacquie, and I moved to Frisco in 2003, and have seen the incredible growth in the number of businesses, schools and opportunities. After this next May, both of our daughters will have attended FISD from K-12. This month, we hope your home is filled with the aroma of freshly baked pies, the sounds of laughter around the table and the feeling of gratitude in your hearts. We're also grateful about Frisco making Money Magazine's Top 50 'Best Places to Live' for 2021-2022. Frisco ranked 19 out of 50 on this 'Best' list, which considered "affordability, diversity and the economy to everything added by this tumultuous year."

LOCAL LIMELIGHT (CONTINUED)

It appears to be good timing for this delivery service. Industry statistics indicate at least 30% of all products ordered online are returned, as compared to 8.89% in brickand-mortar stores. Some estimates project that as much as 40% of ordered products were returned since the COVID-19 pandemic prompted more online ordering. A total of 92% of consumers surveyed indicated that they will buy again if product return processes are easy, whereas 79% of consumers want free return shipping. At least 58% of consumers want a hassle-free “no questions asked” return policy. This year, the most common reasons for returns are sizing issues, wrong gifts, purchase of multiple products with an intent to return some, or a failure to set correct customer expectations. Bobby says he’s seen estimates as high as 90% of returns are clothing. “One out of 10 Amazon purchases supposedly get returned,” he adds. To secure this new pickup service, go online to

almost_famouspodcast.

BH: The idea came in July of 2017 and we launched in January of 2018. When the show [The Bachelor] happened, our fundraising increased 500%, but we also knew that it probably wasn’t going to last. We asked ourselves how we can make this more sustainable, and we came up with the idea that we could start a for-profit business and call ourselves “for-purpose.” We donate 100% of our profits to non-profits.

We believe that people enjoy drinking lifechanging coffee that has a story behind it over their regular cup of coffee.
