There is a lot to consider when choosing a financial institution - such as convenience, technology and products. Perhaps you want a bank that gives back to the community it serves. More than anything, your bank should have familiar, friendly people you know you can count on any time of the day. At First Western Bank & Trust we are all these things and more.

Laughter is the sun that drives winter from the human face. – Victor Hugo Hello Eden Prairie Lifestyle Readers, January is often hailed as the most dispiriting month of the year. I don’t understand why. The brown snow mush on the streets looks just like delicious brown sugar. The perpetual cloud cover keeps us safe from painful sunburns. The air outside reminds me of reaching into the freezer to grab a pint of delicious ice cream. Call me a Pollyanna. I won’t mind! I’ll be too busy appreciating January to pay you any notice. Maybe you’re currently in the throes of an interminable January funk. Don’t despair. I’ve got just the thing to cheer you up: articles about great businesses in Eden Prairie! In this issue we are honored to feature Burn Boot Camp, which is the perfect place to undo some of the damage December has done to your physique. We have The Guild Group, whose founder provides bespoke real estate solutions like no other. We have The Burrow, where you can throw axes, play mini golf and more. We have Eden Prairie Schools, which is not a business, but which is instructing the next generation of entrepreneurs. We also have Full Sail Solutions, whose surveys are certain to help you strengthen your company’s culture. And if all of those stories fail to raise your spirits, then the only course of action is to proceed to Morrie's Luxury Auto in Golden Valley. It is humanly impossible to wear a sour expression while you are at the wheel of an Aston Martin, Maserati or Bentley. As always, I would like to thank all of Eden Prairie Lifestyle’s sponsors, without whose generous support we could not mail our magazine directly to our readers’ homes. I always welcome any feedback or interest you may have in appearing on our magazine’s pages! JOHN LEE, PUBLISHER @EDEN_PRAIRIE_LIFESTYLE

Burn Boot Camp MORE THAN A GYM ARTICLE BY DAVID SCHELLER PHOTOGRAPHY BY LIZI RICHARDS FESLER

Not everyone wants to go to the same kind of gym that magazine writers frequent. It can be intimidating to watch them effortlessly bench press 500 pounds, and they’re always trying to trap you into lengthy conversations about grammar. Burn Boot Camp is an altogether different kind of experience. It is not just a gym. It is a place of transformation, where you are inspired and empowered to become an even better you. If you have recently resolved to gain more confidence and happiness, then Eden Prairie’s woman-owned fitness club will be right behind you every step of the way! “I have always enjoyed moving my body,” said Tina Hegna, owner of Burn Boot Camp’s locations in Eden Prairie, Maple Grove and Blaine. “I love how it makes me feel, the energy it gives me, and the confidence it instills. I love seeing hard work pay off, and the sense of camaraderie I share with other athletes while we push our bodies to get a little bit better every day. “I have also always wanted to be an entrepreneur – an empowered, healthy and happy person who shares her passion and knowledge while helping others. I learned a tremendous

amount about business and finance from my former career in public accounting, but I knew I was made for more than just numbers and spreadsheets. I finally got the spark when my friend invited me to Burn Boot Camp. “My trial period at Burn Boot Camp was transformative in more ways than one. I got results that I never would have dreamed of achieving while working out on my own. I felt pride, confidence, and more comfortable in my own skin than ever before. I was glowing – literally emitting light out of my body – and then I learned Burn Boot Camp is a franchise. Suddenly something within me unlocked. Accountancy no longer seemed like my only path forward. “What do I love about Burn Boot Camp? Everything. But let’s start with the workouts themselves. Our group exercise classes are guided by Certified Personal Trainers who know the names and goals of each and every person on the floor. There are no complicated machines to master when you come to our gym. Your body is the machine. Nothing plugs in except the fans and computers! A single class – or ‘camp,’ as we call it – is condensed into an effective and efficient 45-minute workout. The protocol for the week is shared publicly every Sunday, and it’s the same across Burn Nation’s over 350 locations nationwide. That helps our members plan their week ahead. It’s also how we get to share the same workout triumphs and experiences no matter which Burn Boot Camp we attend. Membership at one location is membership at every location! “We might do arms on Monday, speed and agility on Tuesday, lower body on Wednesday, and so on. Regardless of camp’s focus for the day, we modify each member’s experience to challenge them beyond what they thought they were capable of. We have some members who are recovering after injuries and pregnancies, or who are just working toward completing their first push-up. Wherever you are in your personal fitness journey, our trainers will make sure you’re pushing yourself hard enough to work toward your goals.

It’s also about what you gain!” CONTINUED >

“And you won’t be working toward them alone. Exercising as part of a group makes you feel more accountable. It motivates and inspires you to keep moving forward. I’ve seen a lot of lifelong friendships created here at Burn Boot Camp. It’s only natural when so many like-minded people come together regardless of age, sex, race, religion, ethnicity or any other differences! “Burn Boot Camp was originally conceived as a place where women could work out together. We’ve since developed into a family fitness center where men are welcome too, although we’ve preserved our female-friendly vibe. Each location offers complimentary child watch in a room right next to the gym space, which is partitioned off with a windowed wall. Your kid gets to see you exercising and learn that taking care of their own health is fun and normal. They get to see what strong looks like! “Many of our members joined Burn Boot Camp because they want to lose weight, but it’s not only about what you lose here. It’s also about what you gain! Community. Knowledge. Confidence. Happiness. These are all byproducts of undergoing a physical transformation, and the reasons why our mission transcends fitness. We improve the physical, mental and emotional health of every life we touch. I am always in awe at how our members get just a little bit better, day after day, until they realize what it’s like to become the best versions of themselves. I love knowing I’m right where I’m meant to be. This is my why.” Burn Boot Camp is located at 6545 Flying Cloud Drive, Suite 200 in Eden Prairie. The Guild Group

Creating Clients for Life ARTICLE BY DAVID SCHELLER

20

H OU SE CA LL | R EA L ESTATE

“Buying a home is the American dream,” said Kim Guild, owner of The Guild Group. “You deserve more than someone you can trust while you’re making the largest investment of your life. You deserve someone who genuinely cares about you. Someone who’s always in touch. Someone who doesn’t treat you like you’re just another number! I didn’t become a Realtor simply because I wanted to help people buy and sell houses. I wanted to create real human connections. Plus I enjoy connecting good people with good people. And after 18 years in the business, creating those connections is still my favorite part of my job. “I worked in the corporate world for 15 years before I founded The Guild Group. I don’t mean to diminish my former employers, yet I gradually grew tired of never really getting anywhere no matter how hard I worked – or feeling a genuine sense

of worth. Once I realized I no longer felt in control of my destiny, I resolved to do something that would restore my sense of purpose. To me, that meant giving people guidance, negotiating on their behalf, and helping them make the best financial decisions for their future. In other words, that meant a new career in real estate. “I became a Realtor in 2004. I started out with a new phone number, a list of virtually everyone I had ever met, and not much else. I did okay during my first six years, but joining Keller Williams Realty in 2010 was the turning point. That’s where I discovered the systems, strategies, data, tools and scripts I needed to create a truly effective business. “I can’t say enough good things about Keller Williams Realty. Their culture is just so amazing. Thanks to their partnership I’m surrounded by like-minded and big-thinking people who push me every

day – not just to become a better Realtor, but to become a better human being as well. And although I have free license to manage The Guild Group however I like, I know I’ll always have support from a phenomenal team each step of the way. “I have fashioned myself as a ‘concierge service’ Realtor, who does more for my clients than they typically expect. If you call me today, I would begin our conversation by asking what you value most from your real estate agent. Your answer to that one simple question would color every future interaction we’d share. I like to get to know my clients and what makes them tick. I serve them how they want to be served, and create individualized plans just for them. “If you are open to updating your home before we list it, I’ll ask for your budget and then advise the improvements which will yield the greatest return on investment. I know you probably have more urgent

matters to attend to than purchasing materials and managing contractors. That’s why I’ve already made updating each of my clients’ houses a major part of my service. I’ll shop for lighting for you. I’ll pick out bathroom fixtures for you. I’ll line up the plumber, electrician, painters and carpeting crew we’ll need to bring every last item on the punchlist to fruition. One of my clients once said I provide ‘red carpet service with a white glove approach.’ I felt honored by the compliment, and grateful to him for so aptly describing the assistance I try so hard to provide. “It’s one thing for people to place their faith in my process. It’s quite another for them to witness my process firsthand and then want the same thing for their friends and family. That’s why I’m so proud to know that about 90 percent of my business is based on referrals alone. “I enjoy being a matchmaker and connecting great people with great homes. I find it very fulfilling to help my clients with one of their largest purchases in life and see the joy in their eyes as they realize this is the one! I take great pride in educating my clients about the current real estate landscape and helping them navigate the ups, downs and unknowns. I set expectations with them so they know how to be successful and find a win/win with all parties. Negotiating their terms and completing

the sale at the closing table is not the end. I stick around! I host happy hours, parties and other events throughout the year to continue our relationship and let them know how much I appreciate them. “I’m also proud to be a member of the Eden Prairie community. This is where I live and where my daughter goes to school. This is where I host my annual client appreciation barbecue, which is tied to a local non-profit that brings awareness to teens and young adults’ mental health. I volunteer at PROP Food Shelf and the PROP Shop. I’m also an ambassador for the Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce, as well as a co-chair for the chamber’s women’s committee. Helping other women to become entrepreneurs is very important to me. “At the end of the day, it’s not enough to help people move to our city. I also want to make Eden Prairie an even better place for my newest neighbors to move to!” Although she works with plenty of traditional buyers, Kim specializes in luxury and senior housing as well. She is also a certified relocation specialist and regularly partners with clients who are planning to move to the Twin Cities area or need to connect with a great agent in another market. No matter your real estate needs, putting yourself in the right hands begins by visiting theguildgroupmn.kw.com.

Devin & Vanessa Jordan

CAREER-PREP EXPERIENCES S PA R K PAS S I O N S ARTICLE BY GRACE BECKER

26

EDU CAT ION COR N E R | EDUCATI ON

If you walk into Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) around lunchtime this spring, you might be tempted by the smell of churros, smoothies, pretzels and mini cheesecakes. As the scent pulls you closer, you’ll realize it isn’t coming from the Eagle Cafe. It’s coming from tables set up around the lunchroom’s perimeter, where 11th and 12th-grade students in the Entrepreneurship Capstone course are selling treats to simulate running a real business. “I’ve always been interested in business in general, making up creative ideas and stuff like that, but I wasn’t extremely interested until I was in the lunchroom when I was a freshman seeing people doing entrepreneurship and selling stuff,” said 12th grader Devin Jordan, a football and track athlete who has since taken several courses in the school’s Business & Marketing Department. He’s preparing for the exciting finish to his Entrepreneurship Capstone course this spring when he will choose to sell an item or service to students and staff. “I thought that was a really cool thing that the school offers, just to be able to make money and learn all those skills.”

PUTTING LEARNING TO WORK The Entrepreneurship Capstone, which includes coursework in marketing strategies, business innovations and more, is just one of many career-focused courses students can explore at EPHS. It’s the culmination of the Business Management Pathway, a group of business-focused courses that will fully launch at Eden Prairie High School in the 2023-24 school year. Other Pathways will center on career fields such as natural and applied sciences, engineering and technology, civic and social service, and communication and entertainment.

When it came time for Devin’s sister Vanessa to enter EPHS, business courses were a given. “When we figure out our class schedules and what I want to take for the next year, my mom tells me what Devin does, and then I’m like, ‘Okay, I’ll do it,’” she laughed. It turned out to be a great fit. “I like a lot of the marketing and creating different social media posts, coming up with ideas for different products.” In under two years at EPHS, Vanessa has not only become a varsity basketball player and track athlete. She has also studied marketing strategies, business introduction and business innovation to prepare for the Entrepreneurship Capstone. Career-focused courses go beyond the ‘hard skills.’ In business management, students participate in informational interviews and learn about the importance of networking. “With all the interviews I’ve done and talking to people that I haven’t met before, I think that has helped me learn how to talk to people I don’t know and build rapport,” said Vanessa. Hands-on experiences are also key. In his Entrepreneurship Capstone, Devin’s class took an ‘economic bus tour’ around Eden Prairie to learn about the city’s new businesses and their impact on the community. The Jordan siblings’ passion for business soon extended beyond the classroom. When a family friend approached them last year about founding a cleaning company, they leapt at the opportunity. Now CRB Cleaning, LLC cleans two Chanhassen office buildings and a fitness center every other day, and the siblings apply what they learn in their business classes when the school day is over. “For me, networking is a huge thing,” said Devin. “Being able to talk with the real professionals at these businesses can help me in the future if I want to get a job.”

FINDING THE “WHY” The hands-on experiences that helped the Jordans realize their interest in business aren’t just happening at the high school. Thanks to community support, Eagles can now explore their interests as early as kindergarten. At Eden Lake and Cedar Ridge elementary schools, students split into small groups once a week to discover more about areas of interest ranging from animals to podcasting. The program will expand to all Eden Prairie Schools elementaries next fall. At the newly-renovated and expanded Central Middle School, exploration courses prepare students for high school Pathways by teaching foundational skills in entrepreneurship, design, business leadership, photo and video editing, theatrical techniques and more. “It’s unlike any other district I’ve taught in,” says EPHS Business and Marketing teacher Margot Cowing. “It really equips students, when they’re going out, to figure out what they’d like to do and where their strengths are. They have their why – ‘I know I want to do this because I’ve already tried these things, and this is where I am strong.’”

28

EDU CAT ION COR N E R | EDUCATI ON

Dr. Robb Virgin, who oversees course development as the district’s executive director of personalized learning, agrees. “We’re connecting students with rigorous learning experiences that are genuinely meaningful to them. They can develop skills by engaging with actual people, businesses and resources in the career fields they are interested in,” said Dr. Virgin, who began his work on Pathways courses as Eden Prairie High School principal. “As we continue to develop our Pathways programming, the line between learning that happens inside and outside of schools will keep blurring, and that’s a good thing.” As he looks toward graduation and a move to the United States Air Force Academy for college, Devin knows his Capstone experience will serve him well. “When I get deployed to the job that I’m going to be assigned after college, just having these skills – I mean, I took an accounting class, and I took business innovations and marketing. All these different skills leave the door wide open for what I could do in the future.” edenpr.org

Morrie’s Luxury Auto Because Happiness Matters ARTICLE BY DAVID SCHELLER

Aston Martin. Maserati. Bentley. Morrie’s Luxury Auto offers the world’s most thrilling auto brands. If you insist on peerless performance and class while you are on the road, the Golden Valley dealership is the beginning of your journey. A single test drive in any one of their vehicles would be enough to make most people fall in love with Morrie’s. Anyone who has ever wanted to be James Bond will realize their dreams once they’ve opened up an Aston Martin DBS on I-394. Cruising in a Maserati MC20 or Bentley Flying Spur for the first time is a no less transformative experience. But Morrie’s is not content to merely offer superlative British and Italian-made vehicles. They have been in business for over half a century because they cherish the relationships they create with their guests. Their ultimate goal is simple: creating lifelong clients. “I began selling cars in 1994,” said Aaron Schoenack, general manager for Morrie’s Luxury Auto. “After all that time, my favorite part of my job is still sharing the guest’s excitement when they get into their new car for the very first time. It’s clean. It’s shiny. It smells fresh, and it’s gorgeous. Nothing beats the knowledge that every mile on your car’s odometer was put there by you. “We play the role of ‘automotive advocate’ for our guests. We’re not here to pressure them or persuade them to buy anything. We’re here to learn what they expect from their dream vehicles, and then show them how an Aston Martin, Maserati or Bentley will surpass those expectations dramatically. “Any one of our vehicles features considerably more computing power than NASA had throughout

their entire Apollo program. Such advanced technology is fantastic for any driver and their passengers, although our team appreciates that figuring out our vehicles’ systems can be daunting at first. That is why we offer technology specialist services. They thoroughly familiarize our guests with everything their new vehicles are capable of, as well as personalize their driving experiences for unparalleled comfort and convenience.” Helping their guests to appreciate the seemingly preternatural technology beneath the hood of a modern luxury car is only the start of Morrie’s outstanding customer service. The dealership’s master technicians share more experience than any other team in their industry, and provide any repair or customization with peerless craftsmanship. Complimentary loan cars eliminate the inconvenience of bringing your car to the shop. Complimentary car washes only sweeten the deal. And thanks to Morrie’s best-price sales process, figuring out how to get the greatest deal is as simple as asking for it. Morrie’s takes just as much care to exclusively offer the finest pre-owned vehicles. Whether you visit their lot for a pre-owned car, truck or SUV – or request something specific – their team of expert buyers will ensure you receive a vehicle that they would confidently provide to a member of their own families. The Morrie’s team doesn’t believe that the Golden Rule exclusively applies to their guests. “Our core values include serving our community with heart, humility and integrity,” Aaron continued. “I am proud to work for a company that values

“Morrie’s does things a little differently than a conventional dealership. We’re not here to pressure our guests or persuade them to buy anything. We’re here to learn what they expect from their dream vehicles, and then show them how an Aston Martin, Maserati or Bentley will surpass those expectations dramatically.”

FOR ALL

With two Twin Cities locations, The Burrow is an entertainment venue serving families looking for weekend fun, friends looking for a great night out, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, and bigger groups. “The Burrow was created as a Minnesotan gaming den fit for all ages. Restaurants and bars used to be the go-to places to hunker down, but that’s changing,” said owner Thomas Wartman. Located in both Oakdale and Victoria, The Burrow offers games ranging from axe throwing to mini golf, steel-tip darts, go-karts, golf and sports simulators, and more. “While many entertainment venues center around one particular activity, at The Burrow, guests can choose their own adventure,” said Thomas. Another sister venue of The Burrow is The Fair on 4, located on the 4th floor at the Mall of America. “The Fair on 4 features one of North America’s only indoor two-story go-kart tracks, with stateof-the-art electric Sodi go-karts,” said Thomas. “Guests will find a fair-themed amusement hall, 11 full-service axe lanes, classic arcades, an 8-foot tall stuffed bear, as well as scratch-made food and boozy cocktails!” The ability to cater to all ages and keep everyone entertained sets these venues apart from restaurants and bars. “We consider The Burrow to be adult-focused, but family-friendly,” said Thomas. “Parents find themselves at ease with ample space for kids to explore while they sit back and enjoy quality food and drink or decide to join the fun.”

ENTERTAINMENT ON TAP Demand for these entertainment venues is on the rise. According to a 2022 Business Wire study, the family indoor entertainment industry is anticipated to reach $69.5 billion by 2030, a 10.9% increase from last year. In the Twin Cities alone, entertainment venues for indoor mini golf and pickleball courts have hit the market in recent years, like Thr3 Jack in the North Loop which features sports simulators. Hopping on the pickleball trend, The Burrow in Oakdale will open four indoor and outdoor courts in the spring of 2023. In Minnesota, when it gets cold outside, these indoor entertainment venues provide the perfect way for friends and families to gather and stay active—and eat good food. “We know that friendly competition pairs best with good hearty food, hand-crafted cocktails, and local taps,” said Thomas. “Our scratch-made kitchen features artisan pizzas and house-smoked meats to fill even the heartiest of appetites. Guests can choose up to 40 local tap beers, a variety of spirits, or one of our feature margaritas on our newly-released craft cocktail menu.” Guests certainly won’t go hungry and can easily spend a whole day at one location, making this type of venue both fun and convenient for large groups. “Family groups, party buses with bachelorette/bachelor groups, corporate gatherings, 40th/50th birthday parties; all of these groups are flocking to venues where the menu isn’t just food and drink, but activities too,” said Thomas.

ACTIVITIES FOR DAYS! Activities vary between the Victoria and Oakdale locations, but groups can partake in golf and sports simulators, mini golf, mini bowling, laser tag, and of course axe throwing. All locations offer leagues, and axe-throwing activities include demos and safety instructions so everyone can feel at ease. Live entertainment is also on the menu, and guests can enjoy local acoustics acts as they take part in a variety of activities. While the Victoria location is The Burrow’s original venue, a unique offering at the Oakdale location is “Foxy’s Den,” a premium event space with cozy décor, a dedicated bar, lounge seating, and endless games. Perfect for corporate events, birthday parties, or any celebration. So instead of binge-watching Netflix this winter, check out The Burrow and keep the winter blues at bay. Stay active, make memories, gather with your favorite people, and enjoy delicious food and drinks. All information on activities, private events, locations, prices, and food can be found at theburrowmn.com. To see all the fun to be had at the Mall of America location, head to thefairon4.com.

SELECTTORS BY FU LL SA IL SOLU TIONS

Can you hear what your employees are NOT saying? ARTICLE BY DAVID SCHELLER

Why is your company culture important? It increases productivity, employee retention, and the quality of your final product. It enhances your company’s reputation, thus attracting new talent and customers alike. And when everyone’s expectations for one another are clear, their jobs become immeasurably more fulfilling. Whatever lies ahead for your business, its success depends on how your employees perceive your operation. Improving your company culture may not always be as easy as asking your team members to point out where there are deficiencies. They may not be able to explain precisely what their needs are. Moreover, they may fear the repercussions of raising their voices. SELECTTORS® is the solution! After running a successful boutique consulting firm for over two decades, Jean Miller invented the SELECTTORS assessment tool. “Our goal was to find a way to measure and improve company culture that excludes all the things most of us have come to dislike about surveys in general. We don’t believe in annual surveys, as they

cannot effectively measure the many changes that occur within an organization over a 12-month period. That’s why we set out to create a survey that can easily be administered quarterly and taken in under ten minutes. The idea was to gain more thoughtful and honest answers from employees while not detracting from their day-to-day responsibilities. “SELECTTORS is an acronym that represents ten influencers which affect a company’s culture. Our tool additionally measures participation in the survey, as well as overall company satisfaction using our proprietary Compass Heading™ measurement. “What companies come to expect from the survey results are areas that need improvement as well as areas that are thriving. We believe it’s important not only to point out what’s wrong, but also to celebrate what’s working well within a company.

“Companies who sign up for our quarterly assessment tool enjoy a short, 30-day maximum timeline from beginning to end, starting with onboarding participants to take the survey and concluding with the final results. This allows our clients to quickly communicate results and plans for improvement with their employees, which ultimately keeps everyone engaged in the company’s culture. “Survey results are completely anonymous, and participation is voluntary by design. Employees may understandably feel apprehensive about taking the first survey, but once they realize that management fully supports the process by communicating results and continuing to schedule future surveys, the participation rate steadily climbs. The more faith employees place in the survey – and the more they see their company valuing their feedback – the greater their satisfaction that their

voices are being heard. Another way we gain the trust of participants is by providing only the results and not allowing companies to receive the raw data. “Every company can benefit from our tool. One of our clients recently scored high on all the SELECTTORS, but also learned that some team members were dissatisfied with company benefits. If not for the survey, they may not have had an opportunity to correct their course before some of their team members left to seek better benefits. A simple fix, all-in-all, but a crucial one during an era when employee retention is more important than ever.

“Our clients appreciate how easily they can interpret the results. In only a few minutes management can assess the participation rate, the culture influencers, and the employees’ overall satisfaction with the company. In effect, SELECTTORS provides a comprehensive overview of where your business is heading.” To learn more about this revolutionary survey and how it will enhance your employees’ satisfaction, productivity and ultimately your company’s bottom line, call Full Sail Solutions today at (855) 787-8398 or visit selecTTors.com.

P ierce the Da rk ne ss Fighting to Cure Childhood Blindness

“It wasn’t until a few months ago that Jessica and I asked ourselves how we could honor Pierce’s legacy. While founding a non-profit to provide funding for childhood cancer research seemed appropriate, we discovered that several already exist and are doing great work. However, not a single foundation existed in support of a treatment for optic neuritis – a condition which often blinds glaucoma patients as well. “Our greatest hope is that Pierce the Darkness will one day help to cure optic nerve damage. If our work means a single child can see their family members’ faces again, that would be enough. “I welcome everyone to join us at our first annual gala, which we will hold at Forgotten Star Brewery in Fridley, MN on February 4th. The evening will feature silent auctions, guest speakers, delicious food and drink, and live music by The Question. All money raised will go directly to Stanford Medicine.”

“Our youngest son, Pierce, was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2020,” said Brad Delger. “My wife Jessica and I took Pierce to receive an MRI because he was losing his vision. We learned that a tumor had placed enough pressure against his optic nerve to damage it permanently. We were told Pierce could beat the cancer – but even so, he would never see again. There is no known cure for optic neuritis. “We aren’t doctors or scientists, but we resolved to do everything in our power to help our boy see again. We reached out to Stanford University Medical School, which leads the world in optic neuropathy research, to see if anything could be done. They confirmed there wasn’t. Years of expensive studies separated Pierce from his eyesight, and government funding is scarce. “Our son passed away on Monday, November 1st, 2021. He was seven.
