During May, we love to spotlight women in our community and the difference they make each and every day.
As one of the first Pilates instructors in the CSRA, Mimi Rosheall has helped cultivate the practice of Pilates in our area. She and her husband, William, recently opened Core & Kulture Pilates in Evans where educating and encouraging clients are top priorities. We are thrilled to give you a look at the new studio.

In May, we celebrate Mother’s Day and the bond between a mother and daughter is truly unique, something Stephanie King knows well. Stephanie, top-selling agent at United Real Estate – Aiken, shares with us how she loves helping clients make their dreams come true while working alongside her daughter, Malorie, to ensure it all happens seamlessly.
As women, we often lead the way in planning special gatherings and celebrations. When Cheryl Hardy discovered Graze Craze while planning a party, she loved it so much she brought it to the CSRA and she wants everyone to know why it’s an easy and delicious choice.
It’s also always wonderful to see the next generation of women grow and develop. They are our future and Lindsay Hayes is a great example. Hearing Lindsay’s story and experiencing her talent firsthand, we know she has a bright musical career ahead.
These amazing women represent a glimpse of the many talented, driven, and successful women in the CSRA. It is a joy to share their stories!

The power of taste, trust, and the courage to “just start.”
She didn’t have a business plan, a media budget, or even a name anyone could pronounce. What Becky Hillyard had was taste, a young family, and the instinct to just start. Today, her lifestyle brand Cella Jane commands an audience the size of Vogue’s , she’s nine collections strong with Splendid, and she’s built it all while raising three kids — refusing to sacrifice one for the other. In an exclusive conversation for the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Becky shares what it really takes to build a brand, a career, and a life you love. Read the highlights below, then scan the QR code for the full conversation.

Q: WHEN DID YOU KNOW CELLA JANE WAS MORE THAN A HOBBY?
A: Two moments. Women started emailing me saying they bought something I recommended and felt amazing — asking me to help them find a dress for a wedding. That felt incredible. Then I looked at my affiliate numbers for one month and realized I could cover our mortgage. I thought, I can actually do this. I never set out to build a business. I started it because I genuinely loved it.

Q: WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST RISK YOU EVER TOOK WITH THE BRAND?
A: Designing my own collection. It’s easy to point at items on a website and say I love these. But to create something from scratch, put your name on it, and wait to see if people connect with it — that’s terrifying. I had an incredible partner in Splendid, and women loved the pieces. It was the biggest risk and the biggest accomplishment.
Q: HOW HAS INFLUENCER MARKETING CHANGED SINCE YOU STARTED?
A: When I started, brands didn’t know whether to take it seriously. Now it’s a legitimate line item in their marketing budgets — sometimes bigger than TV. Because what we’ve built is trust. People trust a real recommendation from someone they follow far more than a commercial. There’s no question about it now.
Q: YOU’RE A MOM OF THREE RUNNING A FULL BRAND. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?
A: I try to get up at five and not hit snooze — that first hour before the house wakes up is the most productive, most peaceful hour of my day. Then it’s all hands on deck with the kids and school drop-off. After that I work — planning content, connecting with my team, editing. After pickup, the day shifts completely and it’s all about them. I’ve learned to protect both halves fiercely, because both matter.

Q: WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BUILD SOMETHING OF THEIR OWN BUT KEEPS WAITING?
A: Don’t wait. Don’t wait for the perfect camera, the right strategy, or enough followers. We find every excuse to stay comfortable. Just start, be consistent, and be authentically yourself. The right people will find you — and they’ll stay.
This conversation is just the beginning. Becky goes deeper on the risks that almost stopped her, the design process behind her latest Splendid collection, and what she’d tell her 2012 self today. Scan the QR code for the full, exclusive City Lifestyle interview on the Share the Lifestyle podcast.

Female business owner Cheryl Hardy brings her secret to effortless entertaining to the CSRA
ARTICLE BY MICHELLE PARNELL PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED

Planning celebrations for friends and family has always been a passion for Cheryl Hardy. A few years ago during vacation, Cheryl came across the perfect addition to her party planning resources. “We had family and friends coming in throughout the day and we knew we wanted a large charcuterie board to be a centerpiece and a place for people to gather,” says Cheryl. “We came across Graze Craze and they were so accommodating. They asked a lot of questions, and we designed the board we wanted. Then they delivered the most beautiful charcuterie board to us. It was a great experience.”
Cheryl loved the concept so much that she and her husband, Clint, launched Graze Craze in the CSRA in 2025. “I love being a part of people’s special moments and charcuterie is a unique way of bringing people together to celebrate life events,” shares Cheryl. “We offer custom charcuterie boards from individual servings to large catered events. They are designed to make every gathering memorable and personable.”

other women entrepreneurs. “Chase your dreams, find your passion and go after it,” says Cheryl. “We knew from the beginning that it would be a challenge, especially during the first year, but we took the leap and haven’t looked back since. For us, success this year has come from staying true to our core values, which are using best-in-class ingredients, providing concierge level customer service, and adding a personal touch to everything we do. That is what truly brings our mantra, celebrate everything, to life.”

Four years ago, Stephanie King stepped into the real estate industry and her success proves that she has found her calling. “I got into real estate because I’ve always loved the feeling of home,” shares Stephanie. “There’s something powerful about helping people find a place where they can build their lives, create memories, and feel truly comfortable.”
With only a few years of experience, Stephanie had a record-breaking year in 2025. She sold sixty-four units, totaling over $17 million in sales, which made her the first agent at United Real Estate - Aiken to hit Diamond Level. That success stems from Stephanie’s belief that real estate is about so much more than a transaction. “I have a passion for helping people find the perfect place to call home or sell homes to close that chapter of their lives,” she says. “I believe that the right property can change a person or family’s life and it’s my job (and my joy!) to help them find it.”
has always been me and Malorie all of her life… the dynamic duo,” says Stephanie. “I had been praying that God would open a door for me to hire a transaction coordinator. The factory Malorie was employed at for several years had a huge layoff and my prayers were answered. It was a double blessing - I got a transaction coordinator and it happened to be my girl.”
Not only is Malorie proud of all that her mom has accomplished, but she also enjoys helping Stephanie serve clients. “I like working with my mom to ensure a smooth process for each family as they transition into a new chapter in their lives and making it as stressfree as possible,” says Malorie. “It’s a great feeling to have a job that you enjoy while also knowing that you’re helping people reach their goals.”

Lindsay Hayes shares about her musical background, song inspiration, and thoughts on recent releases
ARTICLE BY EVE CRABTREE | PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED
At 16 years old, Lindsay Hayes is a singer and musician who has already released three songs and performs regularly at live shows, events, concerts, and restaurants. She also enjoys playing at the farmers’ market on Saturday mornings. “I love getting to see the community around me,” she shares. “They get to enjoy the music, and I get to enjoy seeing them listen to it. I like watching in real time as people relax in the slow-paced market.”
Her passion for music and desire to share it with others started when she was young. “I loved to read when I was little and I wanted to write something for others to enjoy one day,” Lindsay says. “Around first grade, I had a whole journal filled with stories and poems. I started guitar in fifth grade and discovered that writing music allowed me to combine my passion for storytelling with music.” Additionally, Lindsay’s involvement in choir and classical musical training gave her a solid foundation for her music.
Lindsay records with producer Joe Stevenson, so when he was putting together a Christmas EP, she was one of the people from the CSRA that he asked to participate. “He asked me one day if I would sing a song he wrote,” Lindsay recalls, “so we recorded it and the music video. It’s called ‘Wild Christmas Tree’ and is part of a fundraiser the Salvation Army of Augusta did for Christmas.”
“Wild Christmas Tree” was Lindsay’s second song. Her first, “Never Want to Leave,” and her most recent, “Bad Directions,” were songs born from her own experiences that she hopes others will connect with in their own way. “Songwriting is about making songs with which people can relate,” Lindsay explains. “It’s also important to do it in a way that stays true to what happened and how I felt—mixing my experience with universal connection.”
With her March release, “Bad Directions,” Lindsay got to enjoy trying out a different style than what she normally writes. “It felt very adventurous and I truly loved the recording process,” Lindsay says. “My other song, ‘Never Wanna Leave,’ felt very universal—a happy pop song. With ‘Bad Directions,’ I got to branch out a little bit more into something that sounds different.”
In addition to her music, Lindsay stays active in church, school, tennis, volleyball, and spending time with friends and family. Looking towards the future, she hopes that whatever college and career path she ends up on, she will always be able to make time for her music.
Lindsay’s songs are on all streaming platforms under her name, Lindsay Hayes. For updates on her music and where she’s singing live in the area, follow Lindsay Hayes Music on social media.

Core & Kulture Pilates delivers genuine results while creating a space that uplifts, encourages, and celebrates each person
Core & Kulture Pilates is the culmination of a vision by husband and wife team William M. and Mimi Rosheall to take fitness in the CSRA to the next level. “I’ve worked at gyms and done personal training, and the one thing that was missing was a true community and culture vibe,” says Mimi. “We are focused on genuine results while celebrating everybody who comes into the studio. People tell us that it doesn’t feel intimidating and that it feels like home, and we’re really proud of that.”

In addition to being a certified Pilates instructor, Mimi brings over ten years of experience in the fitness industry to Core & Kulture Pilates. As one of the first Pilates instructors in the CSRA, Mimi has also helped cultivate the practice of Pilates in the area and trained many mentees including her husband, William.
Through the process of learning and instructing, both Mimi and William developed a passion for Pilates and its many benefits. “The thing that really drives me is watching people get stronger, healthier, and living a better quality of life,” says William. “I love seeing the mental, spiritual, and physical transformation in people because Pilates ties in all those things.”
“I love watching people heal,” adds Mimi. “Seeing someone walk in guarded and in pain, then watching them become more and more painfree is very fulfilling for me. I especially like seeing people learn how to
manage their body and discover things about themselves – like how to move and control their body and grow in their own confidence. That never gets old for me.”
Mimi has training in both classical and contemporary Pilates techniques and all the instructors at Core & Kulture Pilates are working on being dually certified. Having comprehensive training allows instructors to use whatever techniques are most appropriate for each client.
“It’s important to us that we pay attention to the biomechanics of the body and dual training really gives us a well-rounded understanding of the body and the method itself,” explains Mimi. “With contemporary, you have a lot more modifications and a lot of freestyling within the movement, so there are some foundational things taught but not all of it. Classical follows more of the Joseph Pilates order method.

“OUR INSTRUCTORS ARE SO IN TUNE WITH THE PEOPLE IN FRONT OF THEM AND THEY ARE TRAINED AND MENTORED TO SERVE THOSE THEY ARE WORKING WITH AT THE MOST APPROPRIATE LEVEL,” SHARES OWNER AND INSTRUCTOR MIMI ROSHEALL.

He had a certain order of how he taught the movements - so mat is all in a certain order and reformers all done in a certain order - and he puts a lot of emphasis on breathing.”
Instructors also strive to help clients understand how Pilates is both beneficial and essential. “We teach the why behind what the body is doing. A lot of people see Pilates while scrolling and they think it’s just a trend or a nice add-on to your routine,” says William. “We want to help people understand that Pilates is foundational. It’s the kind of movement that makes everything else in your life better, from posture to pain management to confidence. Whether your goal is to get stronger or prepare for a specific event or race, Pilates has something for everybody.”
Core & Kulture Pilates offers group and individual classes. Most group classes, which are limited to eight participants at a time, are designed to accommodate beginner and intermediate levels of Pilates. The smaller group size also allows instructors to get to know each client and their needs. “Our instructors are so in tune with the people in front of them and they are trained and mentored to serve those they are working with at the most appropriate level,” shares Mimi. “Which is why we keep groups small… to make sure everyone is challenged properly but also making modifications where needed.”
Classes range from thirty-minute express workouts to full fifty-minute sessions. Group classes provide a great way to experience Pilates in a fun

and energetic environment. However, for those who want more personalized attention and one-on-one instruction, Core & Kulture Pilates offers private individual sessions as well as duet sessions for two people, which are perfect for friends or couples who want to train together.
Doing Pilates together offers a unique and memorable way to have a shared experience that is great for the mind and body. The studio also hosts special ninety-minute private events such as birthday parties, bachelorette/bridal parties, and corporate team events. Each event is customized with the style of class and preferred musical playlist to create an atmosphere where everyone leaves feeling better than when they arrived.
For more information on Core & Kulture Pilates memberships and classes, stop by the studio located at 4400 River Watch Parkway Suite 5 in Evans or visit corekulturepilates.com. Also follow @core.kulture on Instagram and @corekulturepilates on TikTok.

Spring: the days grow longer, weather turns warmer, and the earth’s greenery starts to make its reappearance. During this time, flowers shoot up from the ground in a ballet of colors and movement. Walking outside becomes a cherished moment to breathe the fresh air and immerse yourself in lush surroundings. Being inside your home turns dreary and dull, everything that thrives is now outside, but this can easily be remedied. Why not bring some life inside? Make a spring floral bouquet to lighten up your space. Flowers add color and character to any room that needs a little lift, and our step-by-step guide will inspire you to create something grand.

• Flowers of your choice
• Scissors
• Twine or floral tape
• Ribbon (optional)
• Decorative paper (optional)
• Bouquet sleeve (optional)

Step 1: When creating a beautiful floral arrangement, the first thing to do is decide on a color scheme and prepare the flowers. Have fun deciding what colors you want to play with. Perhaps go pastel for spring or match the hues to other decor items in your house. Once you have picked your flowers, you need to do a little prep work. First, remove extra leaves and damaged petals from the stems. Then make a fresh diagonal cut to the bottom of all the flowers. This allows each bloom to soak up as much water as they need.
Step 2: Now it’s arranging time — think focal and filler. The best way to start the arranging process is by choosing your most interesting or favorite flowers — this will be your focal point. Hold the focal flower(s) upright and add your supporting blooms around it. Make sure to turn the bouquet as you build so that the design is as desired. Once this is complete, add your filler flowers to finalize the look. Filler options include baby’s breath, ivy, fern, eucalyptus and more.
Step 3: Let’s get ready to tie. Once you’ve arranged your bouquet, tie all the stems together using twine or floral tape. If using twine, we recommend securing it in a small bow in case you would like to rearrange at any given time. Floral tape is easy to move on and off for this purpose as well.
Step 4: Add the finishing touches. At this point, you are almost done with your bouquet and all that’s left is embellishments. There are so many ways to further adorn your creation: one way we love is to wrap it in fun decorative paper or put it in a special sleeve made just for flowers. If this idea isn’t for you, we recommend going to Pinterest for inspiration. Just remember, whatever way you choose to decorate your bouquet, you will end with a personalized piece made with love and care.

This Berry Bruschetta is a delightful twist on the classic bruschetta that we all love. This version uses fruit, bringing a sweet element to the traditionally savory dish. With the use of fresh berries, cream cheese, delicious fruit spread, crumbled cheese, and fresh rosemary, it is the perfect addition to your next spring event. This simple, yet beautiful appetizer could be enjoyed at your next brunch, shower or Mother’s Day celebration. But let’s be honest—you don’t need an excuse to enjoy this delectable dish!
INGREDIENTS:
• 12 baguette slices
• Extra virgin olive oil (for brushing)
• 4 oz cream cheese
• 1/4 cup Fruit and Honey Triple Berry Spread (or any fruit spread of your choice)
• 1/3 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
• 1/3 cup fresh blueberries
• 2 oz fruit cheese (such as Wensleydale with Autumn Fruit), crumbled
• Fresh rosemary for garnish
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Lightly brush the front and back of the baguette slices with Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
3. Toast baguette slices in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until lightly toasted.
4. Once the baguette slices are cool, spread a generous layer of cream cheese over each slice.
5. Add the fruit spread on top of the cream cheese.
6. Add sliced strawberries and a few blueberries, allowing the vibrant colors to pop. (A great place to find fresh fruit is our local staple, Crystal & Rich’s Produce.)
7. Crumble the fruit cheese over the top for an added layer of richness and depth.
8. Garnish with fresh Rosemary if desired.
9. Serve and enjoy!
