Investment. It’s a word we often associate with numbers, portfolios and long-term strategies. By definition, it means dedicating time, energy or resources with the expectation of a worthwhile return. But in our world, it means something even deeper.
At its core, investment is about belief.
Belief in a business owner chasing a vision.
Belief in a young entrepreneur building something that could change how we work.

Belief in a mother who shows up not only for her family, but for other moms in her community.
Belief in voices that inspire, like meeting Tim Tebow and witnessing firsthand the power of a message rooted in purpose and faith.
Every month, we have the privilege of investing in this community by shining a light on the people and businesses shaping it. Supporting local schools, nonprofits, restaurants, retailers and innovators isn’t just good economics, it’s how we strengthen the very fabric of where we live.
Financial investments build security.
Personal investments build legacy.
Community investments build impact.
We see it daily when neighbors support neighbors, when readers walk into a featured business for the first time, when a story inside these pages helps elevate growth for a local brand. That ripple effect is meaningful to us. It’s why we do what we do.
This edition is filled with powerful voices who are not waiting for change, they are creating it. They are investing boldly in ideas, relationships, and the future of our cities.
As you turn these pages, we encourage you to think beyond dollars and cents. Where are you investing your time? Your influence? Your heart?
Because every intentional investment, in your family, your business and your community is an act of hope.
Here’s to a month of growth, connection and meaningful returns.
With gratitude,

Imagine having instant access to various places to work, meet or celebrate, depending on mission, inspiration, locale, perk or ‘just because.’ Two St. Louis area information technology entrepreneurs make such passports available through a company they launched during mid-2025: Zentry Pass. Zentry Pass CEO and co-founder Karly Lamm says she and co-founder, Terry Hammett, CTO, simplified the ability to secure flexible workspaces and special event locations by establishing an upscale software platform, curated marketplace and online network via 100-plus partners throughout the United States.

“Having choices about where to work or meet can help employees, teams, proprietors, leaders and organizers feel the most motivated and productive,” Karly explains. “The Zen portion of our name embodies ease of access to worklife balance.”
Zentry Pass clients can access premium coworking spaces and meeting rooms on demand through two platforms called Employer Memberships or The Public Marketplace with an optional passport feature for one-time needs.
“We’re an affordable, lean product and modern gateway for companies, and we’re constantly scaling up,” says Karly.
She says they’re an ideal solution for small- to mid-sized companies with 50 employees or less. “We’re also a good fit for sales teams, newly forming venture businesses, work groups who travel frequently or colleagues who are spread out geographically. Creative and marketing teams tend to like us because we can provide a different ambiance that lifts them out of what could be called work environment fatigue.”
The two business partners became fast friends after previously combining their skills to work together on a start-up, one that Walmart acquired. Karly says that experience prompted them to ask themselves: “What if there was a way to give employees the flexibility they crave while giving employers the visibility they need?”
Coworking and workspace sharing is a relatively recent, yet popular, concept because it offers flexibility, connectivity and improved well-being without the rigidity of traditional office settings.
Karly says employers can secure Zentry Pass access at a flat rate, which includes a dashboard for monitoring check-ins of employees. Access is available in bundles at discounted rates, too. Individual, or single-day, access also

can be secured for groups that need meeting space or conference rooms, such as presenters, PTOs, nonprofit boards or community-oriented committees.
“We look for and vet all the meeting areas so that we’re providing the best of the best. Some of the meeting spaces reflect the personalities of their cities, some are inspiring with graffiti or other art, others are independent spaces with unique charm. Some even have sports simulators; others are historic,” she adds.
She says some of the spaces come with the opportunities to have activities, kitchenettes, entertainment facilities, beverage taps and technology or office support such as high-speed internet, TV screens, white boards, projectors and printers.
While employers currently have dashboards for seeing employee activity and managing their accounts, Terry and Karly are working on some new Zentry Pass features that would give clients the ability to manage their own dashboards and memberships. Those updates are slated to roll out this summer.
“We make sure our clients can expect consistency, trust and professionalism, no matter what locations they need,” Karly assures.

For more than 50 years, music has formed the quiet counterpoint to Steve Perrmann’s professional life. Long before he became senior partner at e3 Wealth, he composed music, drawing coherence from silence, structure from abstraction. Composition, at its essence, is the disciplined arrangement of distinct elements into a unified whole. It is a study in balance, timing and proportion. As a wealth strategist, Steve says he approaches his business in much the same way.

Founded nearly three decades ago by John Moriarty, e3 Wealth is built upon three guiding principles: Education, Enlighten, Empower. Education equips clients to understand a financial ecosystem that's often opaque. Enlightenment reveals a broader universe of tools beyond conventional investment strategies. Empowerment is the execution: measured, strategic decisions designed not only to accumulate assets, but to help preserve and optimize them across a lifetime. Within this framework, Steve's work reflects both analytical rigor and creative fluency.

His first career unfolded in electrical engineering, where he spent 27 years and secured multiple oil-field-related patents. He also served as director of engineering for Gibson Guitar, an early convergence of technical precision and musical artistry. In 2010, he transitioned into financial services, passing FINRA Series 7 and 66 license exams, as well as life and health insurance licensure. He describes his practice as “financial engineering”—a comprehensive approach that views investments as instruments within a broader design to meet clients’ specific goals and objectives.

A defining distinction at e3 Wealth is its integrated tax practice. Steve is unequivocal: “longterm tax efficiency is foundational to wealth attainment and retention.” Over the course of a lifetime, taxes often represent one’s single largest expenditure, exceeding education or mortgage costs. From a wealth strategist perspective, comprehensive income planning, tax planning, Social Security, pension benefits planning, Medicare planning and Legacy planning further refines outcomes, ensuring capital works efficiently not merely in favorable markets, but across decades. In this context, growth without tax awareness is incomplete.
Risk mitigation is equally central. Steve challenges the conventional “buy, hold and hope” paradigm, emphasizing that preservation is indispensable to advancement alone. A 20% loss requires a 25% gain to recover, an asymmetry often overlooked. By engineering portfolios to reduce exposure to significant downturns, clients lessen the need for extraordinary recovery returns. Wealth is strengthened not only by what is earned, but by what is protected, he adds.
“Diversification,” Steve says, “extends beyond stock allocation. Correlation diversification pairs assets that don't move in tandem, reducing volatility.” Liquidity diversification helps to ensure access to capital without forced liquidation. e3Wealth’s Safety, Growth and Liquidity Model is calibrated with intention. Some exposure to private investments and alternative strategies often decrease correlation increase short-term and long-term tax efficiency and optimize income potential.
As an independent firm, e3 Wealth accesses a broad spectrum of tools and fee structures, allowing personalization at every wealth level. Steve maintains a singular commitment while working
in a fiduciary capacity: “recommendations must serve the client’s best interest” incorporating a “One-Size-Fits-One” approach with clients.
In music, individual notes carry meaning, but it is their orchestration that creates resonance. So too in finance. Tax strategy, risk management, liquidity planning and growth vehicles are distinct components; together, they form something enduring. For Steve, wealth isn't merely accumulated; it is composed, refined and sustained with intention.

How Mom’s Extra Hands is Helping St. Louis Families Thrive
ARTICLE BY KRISTI SELLERS
In the heart of the Midwest, where family ties run deep and everyday schedules can feel overwhelming, many parents are seeking more than just a break. They crave support that feels personal and genuinely helpful. Enter Mom’s Extra Hands, an organizing and concierge service that’s quietly becoming a go-to resource for households.
Extra Hands Owner Emily Dyall says, “I like to say Mom’s Extra Hands is an all-in-one package.
Do you have a space that needs to be decluttered and organized? Dishes, laundry, meal prep, errands or the house tidied? You got it.
“Our services are designed to simplify every season of your life. We do one-off services as well as weekly or bi-weekly to help be that guiding hand through life. Mom’s Extra Hands is designed to be an all-in-one support system for the home. Whether a space needs to be decluttered and organized, the laundry and dishes have piled up, meals need to be prepped, errands need to be run, or the house simply needs to be reset — we step in.”
Mom’s Extra Hands is built on a simple idea: families shouldn’t have to do it all alone. While many home services might focus on a single task, this service combines organizing skills with everyday support that adapts to unique needs. It doesn’t matter if there's an overflowing laundry basket or a sink full of dishes, Emily says Mom’s Extra Hands brings peace of mind back into the home.
Busy parents juggle careers, school functions and daily essentials like home organization and grocery shopping. Services like Mom’s Extra Hands aren’t about doing the work for parents; they’re about empowering families to focus on what matters most.
Imagine walking into a kitchen where the pantry has a place for everything and closets are organized just how you like them. Or picture having someone available to tackle errands for you.
It's more than reduced chores; it's gaining time back. Time with family and time to get out and enjoy life. Whether one is a working parent or someone who simply has too much on their plate, this kind of support can bring extra solace.
“Our clients aren’t just hiring help with laundry, dishes, organizing or errands. They’re investing in reclaimed hours, lighter mental load and the freedom to be more present, with their families, their work, and themselves.” said Emily.
She says asking for help isn’t a luxury; it’s a smart choice that lets parents be present in the moments they won’t get back. With support like Mom’s Extra Hands, the everyday becomes a little easier, and family life becomes just a little nicer.

When thinking of the term investment, we often picture financial portfolios, yet some of the smartest investments are the ones we live with every day. Marble has long symbolized refinement and permanence, and in 2026, its evolution proves timeless materials never truly fade, they appreciate.
While soft greys and creamy neutrals remain classic, designers are embracing richer finishes. Deep reds, inky greens, warm browns, and bold veining are transforming marble from minimalist staple to statement centerpiece.
“Marble brings both artistry and longevity into a space,” says TJ Price of Thompson Price Kitchens Baths & Home. “When thoughtfully selected and installed, it not only elevates the design, it becomes part of the home’s long-term value story.”
Beyond beauty, marble signals craftsmanship and intention, qualities buyers consistently seek. Whether featured in kitchens, baths, or architectural details, marble enhances everyday living while strengthening long-term resale appeal.
An investment in marble is an investment in enduring style.

Windows do more than frame a view, they quietly shape a home’s comfort, efficiency and long-term value. Yet because problems often develop gradually, many homeowners aren’t sure when replacement becomes necessary.
“Most homeowners don’t wake up one morning and say, ‘Today’s the day for new windows,’” says Jason Quillman, owner of Window Depot USA of St. Louis. “Usually, it starts with something small,
a draft you can’t quite explain, condensation between the panes or energy bills creeping higher year after year.”
Unlike a leaking roof or broken HVAC system, aging windows rarely announce themselves dramatically.
According to Jason, fogging between glass panes is one of the clearest indicators of seal failure.
“Once that insulated seal breaks, the window isn’t doing what it was designed to do,” he explains. “At that point, you’re losing efficiency and comfort without always realizing it. The system inside your walls is working harder to compensate.”
Drafts around frames, difficulty opening or locking windows, and rising utility costs are additional warning signs. But for Jason, the conversation extends beyond performance alone.
“If windows are difficult to open, won’t lock properly, or feel unstable, that impacts both ventilation and security,” he says. “Those are things homeowners shouldn’t ignore. Windows are functional elements of the home, not just aesthetic ones.”
While many homeowners begin exploring replacement due to energy concerns, they often discover secondary benefits along the way. Modern window systems are engineered with advanced materials and multipane glass packages designed to improve insulation and overall comfort.
“We talk a lot about what different glass packages and materials actually mean in everyday living,” Jason says. “It’s one thing to hear technical terms. It’s another to
“WHEN PRICING OUT THIS INVESTMENT, IT’S IMPORTANT TO WATCH FOR COMPANIES PUSHING A QUICK SALE.”

understand how that translates to a quieter home, a more consistent temperature or less strain on your heating and cooling system.”
For Window Depot STL, the process begins with education.
“We always tell clients this is a significant investment. It shouldn’t feel rushed,” he says. “Our role is to walk them through their options, answer questions honestly, and help them choose what fits their priorities, whether that’s energy efficiency, noise reduction, low maintenance, or resale value.”
Curb appeal also plays a meaningful role. Updated windows can dramatically refresh a home’s exterior and are often viewed by buyers as a major improvement already “checked off the list.”
“Buyers recognize big-ticket items,” Jason notes. “When windows have been replaced, it signals that the homeowner cared about maintaining and improving the property.”
Still, for Jason, the most rewarding part of the process isn’t the installation day itself.
“It’s not the completion of the job that’s most satisfying,” he reflects. “It’s hearing from homeowners afterward, when they tell us their home feels more comfortable, more efficient, quieter. That’s when a sense of pride in our craft and in our company really sinks in.”
Ultimately, window replacement isn’t simply about glass and frames. It’s about creating a home environment that performs well today and holds value tomorrow, an investment in both comfort and longevity.

Strategic Wardrobe Investments Create Confidence, Versatility And Polished Presence In Every Setting

For Beth Gunter, her investment piece is a black leather jacket, a staple that anchors her wardrobe with intention and edge. Her clothing choices fall into clear buckets: how it feels, its versatility, and whether it works for both work and play. In leadership, first impressions matter, so what she wears must support the persona she presents: confident, approachable and fashionable. As she explains, “This black leather jacket empowers me to approach and feel comfortable in any situation, while giving me some edginess.”

For Keith Fuller, it’s about investing in a well-fitted suit. He prioritizes quality fabrics and timeless patterns over cheaper options, noting that fit and fabrication truly matter. “There’s something about how a well-fitted suit brings out my confidence when I enter a space such as the courtroom.” Too often, men overlook the value of proper tailoring, as it elevates the entire look.

An exclusive Q&A with City Lifestyle

ARTICLE BY ANGELA BROOCKERD
PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED
From championship trophies to global humanitarian impact, Tim Tebow’s journey has defied every standard playbook. In an exclusive conversation for the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Tebow pulls back the curtain on the moments that truly defined him, from a humbling middle school church retreat to the life-altering shift of fatherhood. This isn’t just a look back at a career; it’s an invitation into the heart of a man driven by purpose. Read the highlights below, then join us for the full, unfiltered experience by scanning the QR code at the end.

Q: WE ALL KNOW YOUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD, BUT TELL US ABOUT THE CURL CONTEST.
A: I was competing for my future high school team (my brother’s team), and I pushed myself way past what was smart. I ended up collapsing and needing medical attention. But what stayed with me wasn’t the pain, it was the lesson. Would I be willing to do something that others aren’t? For much of my life, I strived to bring my best for a game, but I hope that I can say at the end of my life I was willing to do that for things that actually matter.
Q: YOU’VE ACHIEVED SO MUCH IN SPORTS. WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IS YOUR GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT NOW?
A: Becoming a dad. Nothing compares. From the moment I knew my wife was pregnant, I felt a new depth of love for our child, but when you bring your baby home, the responsibility hits you like nothing else. Suddenly, everything you see, every decision you make, you’re asking, “Is this corner too sharp? What happens if she reaches that drawer?” It changes how you see the world and how you see other people.
Q: YOU’VE SPOKEN OPENLY ABOUT DISAPPOINTMENT, ESPECIALLY AROUND FOOTBALL. HOW DID THAT SEASON OF LIFE SHAPE YOU?
A: I talked a lot about that very thing in my book Shaken . We all go through moments where our faith in our abilities and purpose feels rattled, but I believe it’s often in those storms when God can show us who we could become.
Q: YOU TALK A LOT ABOUT COMPARISON CULTURE. WHY DO YOU BELIEVE COMPARISON HAS BECOME SUCH A TRAP TODAY?
A: Because we’re comparing our real, everyday lives to someone else’s highlight reel. Social media shows people’s “best day,” often filtered and staged, and then we measure our reality against that. There’s a reason filters are so popular—it’s not real. We end up scrolling through images that don’t tell the full story, and without realizing it, comparison starts to steal our joy and our gratitude.
“We’re comparing our real, everyday lives to someone else’s highlight reel... comparison starts to steal our joy.”
Q: YOUR FOUNDATION FOCUSES ON THE “MOST VULNERABLE.” WHERE DID THAT CALLING BEGIN?
A: When I was 15, I met a boy in the Philippines who was treated as a throwaway because he was born with physical differences. That moment changed me. I realized God was calling me to pursue a different kind of MVP, not “Most Valuable Player,” but “Most Vulnerable People.”
Q: FINALLY, WHAT’S ONE THING PEOPLE MIGHT BE SURPRISED TO KNOW ABOUT YOU?
A: I have some weird coffee habits, which include protein powder, collagen, and cream all mixed together. I love golf dates with my wife. And every night, I bring snacks to bed to share with our dogs. It brings me more joy than it probably should.
This conversation barely scratches the surface. Tim goes deeper into the moments that rattled him, the joys of fatherhood, and one story he has never shared publicly until now. Scan the QR code for the full, exclusive City Lifestyle interview on Share the Lifestyle Podcast.

When most people think about protecting their bones, they think about calcium supplements or being careful to avoid falls. While those matter, one of the most powerful ways to protect bone health is often overlooked: how you move. Bones are living tissue that respond to stress Without regular challenge, bone density declines. With the right type of challenge, bon es can become stronger and more resilient. Three types of movement are especially important for bone health.
1) Strength training causes muscles to pull on the bones they attach to, signaling the body to build and preserve bone tissue. It also improves posture, muscle mass, and joint stability.
2) Impact training, such as jumping, stomping, or heel drops, creates brief forces through the skeleton that stimulate b one growth and help bones stay strong enough for daily demands.
3) Power training improves how quickly muscles generate force Because falls happen in an instant, power training helps improve reaction time and the ability to catch yourself before losing balance.

Together, these components strengthen bones, improve balance, and protect independence Sadly, many people diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis beco me fearful of movement They avoid activity and unintentionally accelerate bone loss and weakness The truth is, the right exercises, performed safely and appropriately, help protect bones and restore confidence
Knowing what to do, how hard to push, and what is safe can feel overwhelming That’s where expert guidance can make all the difference. HouseFit is offering a Free In-Home Consultation for adults who wan t to strengthen their bones, improve balance, and stay active without fear of falls or fractures.
