Although we usually aren’t perfect at accomplishing these things, it is worthwhile to strive for it everyday. March is our Home and Design issue. Creating a home that you want to spend all of your time in isn’t easy. The memories that are made within the walls of our home are what lasts regardless if our home has the latest trends or if it hasn’t been updated in years. The Boys & Girls Clubs Change Lives GIVING BACK NEVER FELT BETTER THAN ENTERING IN THE 13TH ANNUAL DREAM HOUSE RAFFLE ARTICLE BY GLENNA HOPE For 60 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver has been there for kids and families when they need them most: after school, all day in the summer, and even during the school day. Their membership is open to all youth ages 6-18, and their Club members have access to a wealth of programming that has the power to positively shape and change their lives. One of their major fundraiser’s for the year has kicked off to continue to fund programs for the children and families part of this amazing organization. The 13th annual Denver Dream House Raffle, offers participants a chance to win the Grand Prize of the Denver Dream House or $2 million in cash. An additional 4,250 prizes will be given away throughout the raffle period (now through April 22, 2022). A limited number of tickets will be sold and the odds of winning a prize are 1 in 20. This year’s Grand Prize Dream House is a fabulous 5,988 square foot 4 bedroom / 6 bathroom home located in a gated enclave steps away from the charms of Cherry Creek. With a screening room, chef-inspired kitchen, saltwater pool, and hot tub, this house is perfectly situated for entertaining and comfort. The spacious home also features a private elevator connecting all three levels, white oak flooring, custom fireplaces and a 2 car garage. Denver Dream House Raffle tickets will be available through April 22, 2022 – with

Essential oil room sprays are one of the simplest luxuries you can make at home. They can easily be sprayed in areas prone to odors, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. Making such a spray is simple and only requires a few ingredients. This recipe is a great way to lightly fragrance your home without dangerous chemicals.

H A P P Y H O M E A I R F R E S H E N E R S P R AY INGREDIENTS • 3/4 cup distilled water • 2 tablespoons vodka • 5 drops lavender essential oil • 5 drops lemon essential oil • 5 drops rosemary essential oil • 1/8 tsp. solubilizer: Mulse D9 (Poly Sugar)

DIRECTIONS Start with clean sterilized supplies. In a mason jar, combine the vodka, essential oils and solubilizer. Secure the lid on the jar, and shake well to combine. Add the distilled water, and shake again to combine. Transfer the mixture to a glass spray bottle using a small funnel. Shake the room spray again prior to spraying so the essential oils remain distributed in the product.

Who knew that nonprofit Knock Knock Angels Colorado would have already tackled their 5th home make over so quickly after only forming their organzation less than 5 months ago. Their nonprofit seems to be on quite the mission to help others have a safe, peaceful and happy place to call home. The organization's latest act of kindness helped four Afghan refugee siblings who lost their parents this past year. Additionally with many thanks to our military they were able to escape and start their lives in Colorado. Main donor for the day's outreach was Checkmate Moving & Storage. They donated their time and employees and helped get donated furniture along with other volunteers, donors and community members.
