Best viewing locations are between Fifth and Second streets on Perry Street. 6:30-9 p.m. - Free western-themed activities for the kids, food trucks, cowboy themed cocktails, and entertainment for the whole family in Festival Park! During the 1800s, large herds of cattle were driven through Colorado. The route known as the â€œGoodnight-Loving Trailâ€? started just east of Colorado Springs and passed through the area on the way to the stockyards in Denver. This event helps honor that heritage.
