Out to dinner with f riends, walking off the tennis court after a match or checking out at Trader Joe’s… no matter where I am, our crazy Real Estate market seems to be the topic of conversation! And no matter who I am with, the question is always the same… “Is now the right time to list…or should I wait until the spring???” My answer? If you are thinking about selling your home, there is absolutely no better time then now. The market… and the buyers are waiting! 1. Home inventory levels are at a record low: In January we thought we had found the bottom of inventory levels with only 811 available homes for sale in Williamson County. How wrong we were! In February inventory levels dropped by another 10% with only 704 Active listings! 2. Interest rates are climbing: And higher rates means less purchasing power for buyers planning to use a mortgage. With the threat of additional rate increases throughout 2022, buyers are anxious to f ind homes NOW so that they can lock in rates. 3. Middle Tennessee continues to attract corporations and corporate headquarters: The new businesses moving to Middle Tennessee continue to bring relocating families to Williamson County. Because of our inventory shortage, families who know they need to make the move are shopping NOW so that they can be assured of f inding their new home. In many instances, buyers are making purchases that they don’t plan to move into for months. It has become a huge win for our local sellers as they are often benef itting f rom the luxury of having their homes sold, but being able to continue living in them while they do their own “house hunting”. 4. Multiple offers are everywhere: The combination of extremely low inventory, urgency around rising interest rates and relocation families shopping now…have created intense competition for those few homes that are hitting the market. It is not uncommon for new listings to receive 5, 10, 15 or even more offers in the f irst few days of being listed. 5. Offer prices have never been higher; Low supply + high demand = multiple offers with signif icant price tags attached. In February 2022, 53.2% of the homes sold in Williamson County were sold for over list price and for a whopping 25.4% more then they did in February of 2021!

Spring symbolizes new beginnings. Nature reveals its beauty through budding trees and flowers, and the fresh temperate air invites us to spend more time outdoors. As we prepare our garden and flowerbeds, new life awakens joy in the beauty of our world and the desire to explore it. And for those of us without a green thumb, the local farmer’s markets are gearing up for a busy season of visitors to enjoy fresh produce from local farmers. There are a multitude of diverse spots around town to discover, whether it is a new restaurant with a great patio to enjoy with friends and family, a hiking trail to take in nature and the surrounding scenery or a niche boutique hotel for a relaxing staycation—there is something for everyone. For our April issue, we wanted to share with you how some of our neighbors are getting out to explore both locally and globally. She previously worked for City of Battle Creek, Michigan, where she spent more than 20 years in the IT department, supporting 34 city departments. While there, she was responsible for developing a $2.3 million charge back model for maintaining and replacing city-wide IT, GIS and 311 information center infrastructure. Two Community Meetings Hosted To Consider Changing Flood Management Regulations In March, Brentwood city officials hosted two community meetings regarding the area's flood management. City project consultant, Del Schwalls, presented information, gathered public input and answered questions. Considering recent flooding events and in recognition of changing weather patterns, city staffers are undertaking a comprehensive review of existing regulations to identify needed updates designed to protect property while also providing additional flexibility for property owners where appropriate. The Brentwood Blaze football and cheerleading program has opened registration for camps and the fall season. The Blaze will host a new spring camp May 2-4 with a focus on football and cheerleading skills. Small-group instruction will be given, and position-focused skills training will be taught. The camp will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m., and it will cost $150. A summer camp will be held from July 25-28, where players will learn from local high school coaches and players, many of which began their football career with Blaze. The camp will run from 6-8 p.m., and it will cost $125.

The cost for football players will be $275, and cheerleading will be $260. For those interested in coaching, applications can be found online.

Elephants are magnificent, intelligent creatures that are all too often taken from their natural habitats to be exploited in carnivals and circuses. Due to their unique needs, the care they receive isn’t always up to par. At the Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, these animals have a place to live out their lives in beautiful, natural habitats where all their needs are met. The sanctuary currently houses nine elephants on its 3,060 acres, and has taken in a total of 28 elephants since it opened in 1995. “Our elephants come to us from all over North America,” says Sanctuary Education Manager Laura Roddy. “The majority of them were circus elephants, while some were confiscated by the government for violations against the Animal Welfare Act. Others were zoo elephants or privately-owned elephants.” At the sanctuary, elephants receive individualized care for life. “Every elephant comes with a different history and different needs,” she says. “Shirley came to the sanctuary at the age of 51 after 20 years as a lone elephant in a zoo in Louisiana. Before that, her leg was injured in a circus. We had to learn how to work with her different ability. When Shirley passed away in 2021, she was 72 years old and the second oldest elephant in North America at that time.” On average, elephants live between 45 and 50 years. The sanctuary's current elephants range in age from 37 to 60. Billie just celebrated her 60th birthday; Sissy's been at the sanctuary the longest, arriving in January of 2000; and their most recent occupant, Nosey, came to them in 2017. Historically, the Asian elephants and African elephants were always kept separate, but they have been doing introductions between an African and Asian elephant recently through a fence line. “They are completely different species from one another,” says Laura. “One of my favorite fun facts to tell students is that Asian elephants

are actually more closely related to woolly mammoths than they are to African elephants. They also speak somewhat different languages.” The sanctuary has a full-time veterinarian and veterinarian technician, one part-time veterinarian, plus on-site caregivers. They ensure all the elephants get plenty to eat and also have enjoyable enrichment activities, which helps keep them both mentally and physically stimulated. Sometimes it's a rope toy that they hide snacks in and hang up. Elephants eat between 200 and 300 pounds of food every day. In the summertime, they eat as much vegetation as they want, but the sanctuary does supplement their diet with a specialized feed. They also love fruits and vegetables. Overall, the Elephant Sanctuary has a two-part mission. “The first is to provide captive elephants with a safe haven dedicated to their wellbeing, and the second is educating the public on the complex needs of elephants and the crises facing elephants in the world,” she says. “We're trying to talk about living in a sustainable place where both elephants and humans alike can thrive.” A majority of their educational mission is done through distance learning. “We talk virtually to different schools all over the country and world on a daily basis,” says Laura. “Outreach is a way to hopefully change things in the future.” Visitors are not allowed to see the elephants in person. “We are a true sanctuary, which means we are closed to the public,” she says. “Our elephants have worked all of their lives. They've been in circuses or show business or on exhibition in some way, shape or form, so we want to give them the retirement they've earned and not have to worry about guests. They're just free to be elephants and live their lives.” People can watch them on live-streaming EleCams, which are available 24/7. “We try to make sure there’s a

They’re just free to be elephants and live their lives.” view of an elephant, but because we have over 3,000 acres, sometimes there are no elephants on screen,” says Laura. “But, we think that's OK because that means they're out exploring and being elephants.” People also can visit the Elephant Discovery Center at 27 East Main Street in Hohenwald. There, visitors learn about elephants and how the elephants are cared for at the sanctuary without actually being on site. The sanctuary staff appreciates any and all donations to continue helping these exploited elephants live out their lives in peace and tranquility where they have the

freedom to roam. “We are a nonprofit, so donations are always beneficial,” she says. “I really love the idea of being able to ‘adopt’ an elephant and feel like you’re attached to that elephant. It’s a wonderful way to create that symbolic connection between people and animals.” Volunteers also are needed at the group's downtown Elephant Discovery Center. Even though people cannot work directly with the elephants, says Laura, they’re still helping and benefiting those elephants in some way. Another way to assist is by spreading the word about the crises facing elephants, such as poaching and declining habitats, and talking about ways to help.

BIKE WALK BRENTWOOD IS PARTNERING WITH CITY OFFICIALS TO DESIGN BIKE TRAIL SYSTEM AT MARCELLA VIVRETTE SMITH PARK

Brentwood is home of the sixth-grade girls' first and third place finishers at the 2021 Tennessee National Interscholastic Cycling League state championship races, as well as the fourth place freshman boys' finishers. Yet, the process of creating Brentwood-based mountain bike trails to date has been a decade in the making. Local cyclists say they're starting to see better flow days ahead, though. "Think about how Ravenwood and Brentwood High School and Middle School mountain bike league teams could thrive even more by having a local practice training location, and it should

drive up the value of the land and the region," says Brentwood resident Edward Stanworth, whose son, Andrew, started mountain biking when he was 14 years old. Community mountain biking enthusiasts recently made progress regarding the city's acreage set aside for this purpose 10 to 15 years ago. Local nonprofit Bike Walk Brentwood representatives are partnering through a signed memo of understanding with Brentwood city officials to initiate design work on a mountain bike trail system at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park, 1825 Wilson Pike. The park currently includes 6

miles of hiking trails as well as a bike path south of Ravenswood Mansion, which was completed in 2017, according to city staffers. Plans for mountain biking at the park stalled after a lack of interest in having shared trails. Additionally, city officials signalled that access from parking was challenging. Bike Walk Brentwood supporters, such as board member Ed, have been securing funding from private donations for the design since 2021. He says they now have raised the $15,000 necessary for the design phase of the new mountain bike trail system. The proposed trail, which would be 4-5 miles in length, will serve as a new amenity for mountain bikers throughout the Brentwood area, as well as for students wishing to compete in interscholastic competitions. Ed, who is an executive search partner with the Global Leader Group, says the objective is to link the new mountain bike park with the one in Franklin's Liberty Park and to Columbia State Park. Franklin's mountain bike trail is located at 7062 Southstar Drive, and the Williamson County trail is within Wilkins Branch Mountain Bike Park, 5664 Wilkins Branch Road.

"People eventually would be able to bike from the [John P. Holt] Brentwood Library all the way to I-65," exclaims Ed. "It'll be the largest trail system in middle Tennessee." Bike Walk Brentwood members indicate they've contracted with Rock Solid Trail Contracting to design and construct the mountain bike trails at Smith Park. "Rock Solid Trail Contracting has designed and built some of the best trails in the country, including mountain bike destinations Bentonville [Arkansas], Copper Harbor [Michigan] and Cuyun [Minnesota]. They're among the best mountain bike trail builders and designers in the country, and we're excited to work with them on this project," says Ed. He adds that they expect to meet with Rock Solid planners during April. "Once we have a city-approved trail design in place, we'll begin the trail building phase of the project. We hope to host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the park this fall, and to break ground this winter so we can cut sections and create a new access while the weather is right," he says. "Then we hope to open the trail during the spring of 2023." Ed says the trail-building cost is expected to be approximately $100,000, however the exact amount won't be known until the trail design and exact length is complete. He says local supporters will take care of the trail once it's established by trimming bushes, clearing branches and taking care of drainage or post-rain elements. "Mountain biking is great for all ages. Some people ride through their 80s. Mountain biking teaches a lot. My son now understands so many mechanical things he wouldn't have otherwise. And the sport makes everyone invested in keeping the trails in good shape," says Ed. He adds that he's seen that mountain biking unlocks valuable time outside for families, links people, and provides an organic activity that's healthy. "Cyclists can express their individuality. It gives youths something to do outdoors that doesn't require organized sports. It also gives you the freedom to set your own times for training and competing," he says. "Mountain biking can kick you in the pants, but it's an exercise that you'll absolutely love doing while having fun, too." ‘MR. SMITH LAKE’ Selling homes, condos and property surrounding Lewis Smith Lake in Alabama is a personally satisfying endeavor for full-time broker and Realtor Justin Dyar. {I PROMISE, THEY ARE} FAUX-REAL BOUQUETS I have a secret! More than half of the flowers in my Spring tablescape are faux. Can you tell which ones are which? I’ll reveal one of them... all of my white tulips are faux! I am sure I’ve made all Florists cringe but in my humble opinion, when you mix faux flowers with real ones it really does something magical. Not only do faux look real next to real flowers but the whole bouquet lasts so much longer (I mean, half of them aren’t going to die anyway so I guess that’s pretty obvious). Mixing faux-real does a trick on the eye and I promise that you cannot tell the difference. There are, however, a lot of really bad obviously-faux flowers out there so follow these simple tips to get the best looking ones. FAUX FLOWER TIP #1: When hunting for the best faux flowers, look for the colors that you would see in nature. For example, in the natural world, flowers are often brightly colored but never, ever neon (save that for an outfit at your next 80’s party). FAUX FLOWER TIP #2: Choose faux flowers that have a natural looking shape as real flowers are rarely perfect and never identical. Stay away from faux flowers that are totally perfect. Perfect is not real life. FAUX FLOWER TIP #3: When choosing faux florals don’t forget to keep an eye on the stems and leaves. Go for a finish that is textured and never high gloss or smooth. FAUX FLOWER TIP #4: Unlike real flowers where you can use a floral frog to secure stems into place, faux flowers work much better if you use chicken wire inside your vase. Using chicken wire lets you place flowers exactly where you want them and they stay put. FAUX FLOWER TIP #5: When arranging faux flowers (even if you aren’t mixing with real flowers), always, always add water to the vase. As National Donate Life Month is observed across America during April, one Brentwood mother will have extra-personal thoughts and prayers during each of the month's 30 days. Jamie Heard's beloved son, William, died when he was just 2.5 years old in 2015 after choking on a bite of chicken, not regaining consciousness and being on life support for two days. Following William's death, Jamie says she and her husband, Daniel, were approached with the option to donate his organs. "We thought it was an answered prayer that we were able to give a gift from our tragedy and able to help someone else," she recalls. "His liver, kidneys and heart were all matched." William's heart went to Ava Martin, another toddler living approximately 490 miles away in La Grange, Illinois. At 13 months old, Ava was diagnosed with heart failure during August 2015, and was admitted into an intensive care unit. After waiting for 111 days, the Martin family got a call that Ava would be receiving a new heart from William. From this heartbreaking, devastating experience, Jamie launched the faith-based nonprofit Faithfully Restored with three other women in 2019 -- Jennie Rebecca Springer, Heather Milburn and Jamie Hamilton -- after they say they felt a deep longing to give back and provide hope to other women in need. "This world is broken and we don’t want women to have to walk through it alone," she explains as the group's executive director. "We've all experienced trials that have rocked us and challenged our faith. It was God who placed people in our lives that lifted us up and supported us during our darkest days. We want everyone to experience that sense of community in the midst of their own struggles and pain," Jamie adds.

REGARDING THE OTHER THREE FOUNDERS' ADVERSITY: • Six months after William died, Jennie Rebecca, Faithfully Restored's board secretary, lost her 7-year-old son, Hayes, in a car accident. • Heather, now the group's community and donor care director, was diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 30; she relapsed in 2017. Her mother died from breast cancer so she knows it’s hereditary in her family. • Jamie (Hamilton), the group's board president, went through the loneliness and scary circumstances brought on by infertility. Faithfully Restored specifically supports women and their families going through the monumentally draining emotions of loss of children; infertility; miscarriage; life-threatening illnesses; and emotional health challenges, such as severe anxiety, suicide or divorce. With a goal to build a healing community, the nonprofit's supporters have handled more than 600 prayer requests and 2,200 care packages to police, teachers, Vanderbilt Mother’s Day gifts, military wives, foster moms, adoptive moms, as well as oncology patients and nurses. They also have assisted with more than 350 projects to support people going through the first holiday after a loss, single mothers receiving holiday packages and providing headstones for women who have lost children. Additionally, they assist with transportation for grieving mothers, counseling, adoption grants, college tuition payments and counseling retreat assistance.

Faithfully Restored staff host a monthly breakfast club during the first Thursdays of each month at the group's office, 1749 Mallory Lane, Suite 102 in Brentwood, from 10 a.m. to noon. During April 22-24, the Faithfully Restored team also is conducting an event in Harrisburg, Virginia. And what happened with the Heard and Martin families? "Our families are best friends, even taking vacations together. Between us, we have four girls and they are like cousins," days Jamie. "On April 5th, I will fly to Illinois to see Ava. I'm also going to help assemble care packages for 44 moms in the transplant floor at Lurie Children's Hospital where Ava was. Then Ava's mother, Amie, will fly back to Tennessee with me, and together on April 7, we will be guest speakers at a sold-out breakfast about God's faithfulness." A second, evening event is available for April 7 from 7-9 p.m., titled "Two Moms, One Heart." Tickets are $30 each and includes a light snack. Proceeds from the event will help fund care packages for every mother spending Mother's Day at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital through Faithfully Restored's program Love For Moms, Hope For Women Campaign. To assist with Faithfully Restored efforts in various ways, the board receives financial donations, recurring payments, in-kind gifts and flower donations. They also provide an Amazon Wish List. While Jamie has to face and struggle through each Dec. 13 as the anniversary of William's passing on, she says each April is a time to honor William by highlighting the benefits of organ donations. "April is a great time to spread hope," she adds.

INTERESTED IN BECOMING A LIFE DONOR? Each April, National Donate Life Month helps raise awareness about donation, encouraging people to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and to honor those that have saved lives through the gift of donation. According to OrganDonor.gov statistics, 106,143 men, women, and children are on the national transplant waiting list; 17 people die each day waiting for an organ transplant; every donor can save eight lives and enhance 75 more. As of 2020, 169 million people in the U.S. were registered as donors. Not everyone who registers as a donor is able to donate. In fact, only 3 in 1,000 people die in a way that allows for deceased organ donation. That’s why more willing donors are needed. To become a donor, sign up online through the Tennessee state registry at DonateLifeTN.org/Donor/Create or in person at a local motor vehicle department.

For those with smartphones, the Health apps can be used, which sends information to a national computer system. Donors may change their information via the online donor registry. Tennessee lets donors choose which organs and tissues they want to donate. When Matt Millsap isn't collaborating with construction industry veterans to renovate Nashville-area historic homes or buildings, he's helping people climb cliffs safely, take exploratory hikes and create outdoor adventures that fill hearts with happiness. Matt, and his wife, Jaime Millsap, just launched a new business called Millsap Adventure Company. "We're excited to connect clients with the outdoors, and help them take their adventures to the next level, whether that be for half day and all-day hikes, fly fishing, rock climbing, camping overnight or for more extended, weeklong trips," affirms Matt. "There are a ton of places and terrain that I have extensive experience with out West. For example, I know firsthand about the Joshua Tree, Rocky Mountain and Yosemite national parks." Matt says taking guided trips to Utah, Colorado, Arizona and California are popular with Nashville area residents. However, he and his certified instructors also are just as happy to assist clients with trips to nearer locations, such as Chattanooga.

Although we may pick up lunch at a restaurant while heading out of town after a longer camping adventure," Matt says. Jaime says they provide a thorough checklist ahead of outings, and use intake forms to ensure clients are prepared and know what to buy or what can be rented from the company. For example, they have two, fully outfitted recreational vehicles that can be rented: Harvey, a 31-foot Jayco that sleeps up to eight people, or Honey, a 25-foot Winnebago that sleeps five persons. Jaime says all that's needed is food for the RV refrigerators and clothes for the traveling closets. "Our checklists are customized according to the type of adventure, the locations, travel needs or not, and particularly the time of year or season," adds Matt. Jaime and Matt indicate they even can provide itineraries for their RV clients regarding where to stop, what to see or where to gather certain supplies. Jaime adds that their recommended travel plans are as structured or as flexible as clients desire.

Music and motorcycles will collide May 19-22 at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch at Hurricane Mills for the fifth annual Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival (TMMR). “This is our first big event since the devastating flood in August, so we’re so happy to be able to do this. Memaw loves having everyone at her place,” says granddaughter to Loretta, Tayla Lynn. “After the flood, the TMMR folks were the first people to reach out and rally around us. It makes total sense that our first big event since the flood is with them.” Sponsored by Harley-Davidson, the lineup of events is full, and includes stunt shows, bike shows, field games, motorcycle racing plus more. The musical lineup is, of course, stacked with Billy Gibbons returning to headline May 20. Other acts for this four-day event include Ben and Noel Haggard, The Outlaws, Tim Montana, Bones Owens, Red Clay Strays, War Hippies, Tayla Lynn, who also will perform with her dad, (Loretta’s son) Ernie Lynn. Tayla Lynn will also host and emcee the event alongside Jay Allen. This event continues to grow each year and to really get the full experience, TMMR invites attendees to camp on-site and soak up every part of the four-day bash, which Loretta’s Ranch has hosted for 40 years. TAKE A RIDE ON THE MULTI AWARDWINNING MUSIC CITY ROLLIN’ JAMBOREE.

Searching for the best route to explore Nashville while laughing through a country music sing-along and comedy tour? Take a ride on the multi award-winning Music City Rollin’ Jamboree. Jenny Carson, owner and comedienne extraordinaire, makes one thing very clear. “It’s a show, not a party bus, but the show is a party. This is a tour of Nashville you aren’t going to find anyplace else.” A TripAdvisor Hall of Fame and Traveler’s Choice Award winner, and featured on Good Morning America and HGTV’s Flip or Flop, the Music City Rollin’ Jamboree celebrates its 10 year anniversary in 2022. After taking a yearand-a-half off during the pandemic, Jenny added musician Gil Grand, CCMA and GRAMMY winner, to the experience. Together they’ve created an alchemy that garners repeat business,

as well as referrals from previous satisfied customers. The idea for the Rollin’ Jamboree came to Jenny 10 years ago, when she and her grandparents took a ride on the Nash Trash Tour. All seats were sold out, and the pink bus ended up leaving a crowd of people behind. That crowd, and memories of the old Dolly Trolley that used to tour downtown, led her to an epiphany. “This is it. This is the time.” A week later, she purchased a retired school bus for $5,000, painted it, put in a sound system, and the Music City Rollin’ Jamboree was born. When asked what she would do if the business failed, she insisted that she knew “it was going to work, no matter what.” Ten years later, and she’s been proven right. “I wanted to make it so my grandparents could get on it – anyone’s grandparents – have a good time, and

leave knowing more about Nashville.” Back then, she drove the bus herself, and took a couple of years to develop the tour and find her rhythm. The gates opened once she started making people laugh. “You get on that bus, you put everything down, and you have a good time for 90 minutes. You enter as a stranger, you leave as a friend, and possibly as part of our family,” Jenny says. Her warmth and humor carry over once people disembark. She texts every rider to thank them personally, and they keep the jokes going. She even occasionally hears from participants when they run into fellow attendees at other Nashville landmarks. “It’s just special,” she says, “when strangers let their guards down with one another and no joke is off limits. We don’t make fun, we have fun.” And don’t forget the music. Jenny has high praise for Gil Grand. “People don’t expect the music to be as excellent as it is. He surprises people.” Gil leads a dual life. After spending time in his native Canada touring, performing his own award-winning music and traditional country shows, he then returns to Nashville, gets “on a bus, and starts acting goofy. There’s never a ride where something unexpected doesn’t happen.” He holds Jenny in high regard as well. “She commits to the jokes, and there’s nothing she doesn’t talk about. She makes the comedy happen. I’ve never seen anyone pull out the character aspects of people like she does.”

As the straight man with a quick wit, he relishes both the irreverent comedy and performing his music. “It’s a show, not a party. Many people come back, and it evolves the longer we work together.” As he says on the website, “I never realized how fulfilling it is to bring laughter to people. There’s something special that happens on the bus that I don’t get from the stage and that’s why I love it.” The same two drivers have been with Jenny for 10 years, which speaks to the warm atmosphere she and Gil create. The tours take place at 11:30 and 1:30, Wednesday through Saturday, for ages 21 and up. No bachelorette parties or large groups are permitted. “We will not tolerate disruptions,” Jenny says. “People are here for a show.” Soon, the Music City Rollin’ Jamboree might park the bus outside its own venue. “We’re looking into it,” says Gil, “trying to develop a stationary show in Nashville.” They’d like to create something like the old Johnny and June show, with country music and comedy. Recently, some visitors from across the pond took the tour. When asked how they found out about the experience, they said, “You are quite popular in England. Everyone recommends this show there!” Locals recommend it, too. So, take some time to see downtown with the Music City Rollin’ Jamboree, famous worldwide, and relish in the opportunity to laugh, sing, and leave all your worries behind.

About 70 miles due east of Nashville is a watering hole known to many Tennesseans as Center Hill Lake. This lake area was never on Marissa Stephen's radar until she began to dive into the short-term rental business in 2016. Marissa says she first began looking at an Airbnb property in downtown Nashville, but then felt pulled to look elsewhere. She eventually started zeroing in on various homes in the Center Hill Lake area and was especially fond of one house in particular. “I was almost mad when I realized we were going to look at this house that I already knew about. Fate was on Marissa's side, as she and her husband snatched up this beauty just in the nick of time. “When the pandemic hit, there was a lull there with bookings for about a week or so. After that, rentals really started to pick up again. Now I have to make sure to book a weekend for our family months out, or we’d never get to go. We’re currently booking well into the fall,” she says. After The Treehouse was purchased and became a big rental success, Marissa decided to add to her property portfolio. She and her husband purchased a cabin in the same cove and went on to eventually purchase a lot where the two collaborated to build a gorgeous A-frame house from the ground up. She’s a 17x consecutive AirBnb super host. “I’m pretty proud of that,” she admits. “All of our properties have the extras. I do everything myself, so I make sure it’s super clean and everything has been thought of,” she adds. Just browsing through the reviews of these properties, it’s evident Marissa has been able to bottle magic by providing an escape off the grid that so many often crave.
