This issue is especially close to my heart as it features my own daughter’s Holy Communion. It’s hard to believe that eight years ago her first

Flamingo birthday was on the cover of this very magazine. Many of you have watched my children grow up alongside this business, and I’m so grateful for your continued support.

Designed and styled by Keepsake Archive, this contemporary Christening concept embraces editorial-inspired styling through a refined and timeless aesthetic. Set against the breathtaking coastal backdrop of Summer Salt Restaurant, the design celebrates faith, family and modern elegance with a soft palette of ivory, blush and natural greenery, complemented by subtle chrome accents. A bespoke cross backdrop framed with cascading sheer drapery created a meaningful focal point while allowing the venue’s ocean views to remain an integral part of the design.

Premium faux floral installations were thoughtfully layered throughout the space, showcasing how beautifully crafted permanent florals can create depth, movement and lasting visual impact while offering a practical and sustainable alternative to fresh flowers. The tablescape centred around a striking chrome dining table, styled with floral centrepieces, delicate bud vases, bespoke stationery, personalised favours, layered tableware, soft linen napkins and candlelight to create a cohesive and elevated dining experience.

Every design decision was made with intention, allowing the styling to enhance rather than compete with the venue’s natural beauty. Through layered textures, sculptural florals and carefully considered details, the celebration feels both sophisticated and inviting. The result is a modern yet timeless Christening concept that celebrates life’s meaningful moments through intentional design, offering inspiration for families seeking a beautifully curated celebration that feels elegant, personal and effortlessly refined.

...this dreamy aviation & cloud inspired celebration transformed the Cuto Kids Cafe - Leppington...

Designed and styled by Creations by Suz Events, this dreamy aviation & cloud inspired celebration transformed the Cuto Kids Cafe - Leppington venue into a whimsical sky adventure that perfectly captured the magic of childhood. Soft shades of blue, white clouds, and the warm beige created a calming yet playful palette, while oversized organic balloon installations formed fluffy clouds that framed the feature backdrop. The custom layered arch, complete with a charming “On Cloud 5” theme, was enhanced with handcrafted vintage-style airplanes soaring through the display, creating a sense of movement and imagination.

At the heart of the setup, a beautifully presented cake sat atop a cloud-accented pedestal, making it the perfect focal point for photographs and the birthday celebration. Every element was thoughtfully designed to immerse guests in a storybook atmosphere, from the floating cloud details to the elevated treehouse at the Cuto kids Cafe - Leppington added height and visual interest. The combination of soft textures, curved shapes, and interactive surroundings made the space feel welcoming and exciting for children, encouraging curiosity, play, and memorable family moments.

This design works especially well for a kids’ party because it balances sophisticated styling with childlike wonder, creating an environment that feels magical without being overwhelming. By blending elegant event styling with imaginative details, Creations by Suz Events delivered a celebration that was both visually breathtaking and functional, offering countless photo opportunities while giving little guests a playful setting to explore, celebrate, and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Leah’s Holy Communion was such a special celebration for our family. She chose the pastel colours and Events by LM brought it all to life with the most stunning florals. The Bible verse on the linen sign was also chosen by Leah adding another personal touch to this whole celebration. All the vendors worked to create gorgeous items which worked with the beautiful colour scheme. The cake and stationery were gorgeous works of art and the Holy Water favours were so elegant. The kids absolutely loved the ball pit and slide and everyone enjoyed the meringue kisses tower. Bivianos provided amazing service as the food and view was beautiful.

There’s something special about seeing a creative vision come to life in our space at BBH Event Space For this photoshoot, we transformed the venue into a sparkling disco-inspired setting, blending soft gold, white, silver metallics, and subtle shimmer to create a look that felt modern, elegant, and full of personality.

One of the things I love most about our venue is its clean, all-white interior. It acts as the perfect blank canvas, allowing every colour, texture, and styling detail to stand out exactly as intended. The LED downlights bring the space to life, creating a bright, fresh atmosphere that photographs beautifully from every angle.

This shoot was inspired by the idea that a venue should enhance your vision, not compete with it. Whether you’re planning a birthday celebration, bridal shower, baby shower, engagement party, corporate event, or a styled photoshoot, our space is designed to adapt to your unique style. To make celebrations even easier, we also offer kids’ soft play and inflatable hire, giving families the option to create a space that’s just as exciting for little guests as it is beautiful for everyone else.

From glamorous metallic details to timeless neutral palettes, every setup feels elevated in this space. Watching this sparkly disco concept come together reminded me why I created this venue in the first place—to give people a beautiful, versatile space where creativity can shine and memorable moments are made.
