Having spent five years at the helm of Luštica Bay’s sister community, El Gouna, Oudad Kheir officially assumed the role of CEO on 1st January. Having spent his first 100 days on the peninsula asking questions and absorbing ideas, he reflects on the principles that will guide his leadership, the vision he hopes to bring to life, and the role we all have to play.

What have you learned from the Montenegrin way of doing business?
Montenegro has its own rhythm. Relationships often precede transactions, timing depends on alignment, and local knowledge is essential. The key is to blend structure with adaptability, bringing discipline while respecting the cultural context and the importance of trust.
Looking back on your career, which experiences have most shaped your leadership philosophy?
Three come to mind.
First, my early years as an architect and self-employed professional. They taught me how to build from the ground up, launch projects, structure teams and expand into new markets. I learned that leadership is not about control, but about creating systems that can grow beyond the individual.
Second, working in contracting and project management. In navigating crisis situations when decisions must be made with incomplete information, I learned that clarity and speed matter more than perfection.
Finally, my time as an executive in large organisations has shown me the power of people. The right individual in the right role can transform entire structures. That’s when I shifted from managing tasks to nurturing teams and talent.
What kind of leader do you strive to be?
Earlier in my career, I was strongly focused on execution, speed, delivery and results. Over time, my values evolved toward building institutions that endure.
Iwant to be a leader of long-lasting and sustainable ecosystems, not just an operator of assets. To do that, my leadership is defined by four principles: clarity; accountability; compounding value; and trust, delegate, then verify.
How do you see the destination evolving in the years ahead?
The challenge is to evolve without losing our identity. Our priorities are extending the season, diversifying experiences, strengthening the sense of place, and connecting more deeply with regional tourism flows. This is a long-term vision that will gradually unfold over the next twelve years.

What does ‘growth’ mean to you?
Growth is often misunderstood as scale, but if we grow without intention, we haven’t truly grown.
For individuals, I believe growth means increasing capacity, managing greater complexity, making better decisions, and creating more value.
For the organisation, growth is not just about expansion, but about resilience and quality: having a stronger brand positioning, longer seasons, deeper partnerships, and more meaningful guest experiences.
What role do people play in shaping the future of this destination?
In placemaking, infrastructure creates the stage, people create the experience. The authenticity, energy, and service culture of a destination come from the people who bring it to life every day.
Our future depends on attracting the right talent, empowering local teams while introducing global standards, and building a culture where colleagues feel they are co-owners of success. Each colleague can write their own chapter in this story.
Luštica Bay’s culture of dedication, patience, rigour and genuine hospitality holds the ingredients for our success.
What message would you like to share with the team?
We are not simply operating a destination, we are building a reference point. That requires a shift in mindset: from tasks to ownership, from short-term effort to long-term impact, and from individual performance to collective excellence.
Be bold, be accountable, and work hard. You’re contributing to something that will truly last.

Olivier Zatka’s experience spans more than two decades across iconic destinations in Cannes, Monaco, Marrakech, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Riyadh. Now the new Managing Director Hospitality OHM LB Montenegro, Olivier shares his hopes for the future.
Can you tell us about your journey in hospitality and what led you to The Chedi?
For me, hospitality is a mindset and a calling. I began my career in food and beverage, which remains a great passion of mine, and gradually moved into broader operational and corporate leadership roles. Along the way, I had the opportunity to open hotels, reposition landmark properties, and work with diverse teams around the world.
Working across different cultures has taught me that true luxury lies in authenticity and respect for local heritage. In this respect, joining The Chedi Hotel & Residences in Luštica Bay feels like a natural step. It’s an opportunity to contribute to a destination that is

still evolving while celebrating the richness of Adriatic culture and hospitality.
How would you describe your leadership philosophy? It’s strongly people-oriented, grounded in adaptability, humility, and listening. When teams feel supported, valued and connected to a shared purpose, excellence follows naturally.
Sustainable success comes from empowerment, trust, and shared ownership. I see my role less as directing, and more as creating an environment where people can grow, share ideas, and feel proud of what they achieve together.

And what does growth mean to you?
It’s about meaningful progress. For the hotel, it means strengthening our position while remaining authentic to the destination. For our people, growth means gaining confidence, developing skills, and cultivating a sense of belonging to both their craft and their heritage. What excites you most about leading The Chedi?
Certainly being part of Luštica Bay - a destination that is still taking shape with a long-term vision. Montenegro offers remarkable natural beauty, history and cultural richness, and it’s our role to respect and celebrate these qualities. Aligning the refined elegance of The Chedi with the authenticity of the Adriatic coast creates a unique platform for truly meaningful guest experiences.
Which values are most important in creating a culture of excellence?
The foundations are integrity, humility and generosity. Integrity builds trust; humility keeps us open to learning; and generosity, whether through sharing knowledge or recognising others, creates a positive and collaborative environment. Respect for local identity and open communication are also essential, particularly in international teams.
How do you see your teams evolving alongside the hotel?
My ambition is to build teams that are confident, curious and proud, and that see luxury not only as a standard, but as a way of thinking and caring.
An important part of this journey is encouraging colleagues to take pride in their cultural heritage. I want everyone to bring it into the guest experience through storytelling, culinary traditions and personalised service.
How do you balance high standards with innovation? High standards build trust with our guests, but they should not limit creativity. Some of the most meaningful innovations come from reinterpreting traditions in contemporary ways, whether through gastronomy, service rituals or guest experiences. My role is to create a framework in which teams feel confident to share ideas while maintaining the identity and quality of the brand.
What is your vision for the future of The Chedi in Luštica Bay?
I want the brand to become a benchmark for refined lifestyle hospitality in the region, recognised not only for its product, but for the authenticity of its experiences and the people behind them.
As Luštica Bay continues to grow, The Chedi will evolve alongside it, celebrating local culture, supporting the community, and presenting Montenegro to the world with authenticity and respect. Ultimately, my goal is to create a place where guests build lasting memories, and where colleagues develop meaningful careers rooted in excellence.

DRIVEN BY PURPOSE
Can you tell us about your journey in hospitality and the experiences that have shaped you as a leader?
Throughout my career in hospitality, the most defining moments have occurred during periods of transformation, whether launching new properties, reimagining existing ones, or navigating complex operational challenges. These experiences became my crucible, teaching me resilience, adaptability, and the vital importance of clear, purposeful communication. Equally formative has been the privilege of mentoring and developing diverse teams across different cultures and regions. At its core, hospitality is a human endeavor, and seeing individuals grow into leaders remains one

of the most rewarding aspects of my journey. Perhaps the single experience that most tested and ultimately refined my leadership was managing the aftermath of Hurricane Otis in October 2023, which caused the complete devastation of my previous hotel in Acapulco, Mexico, leading to a two-year closure until its eventual reopening.
How would you describe your approach to leading teams and building culture within your hotels?
People and culture are the foundation of any successful hotel. Even the most brilliantly conceived concept remains only an idea until brought to life by the individuals implementing it. I focus on creating

an environment where teams feel valued, supported, and connected to a shared purpose. This naturally drives excellence and authentic guest experiences. I encourage collaboration and innovation through open dialogue and dedicated platforms for cross-team cooperation, while giving teams ownership over their domains, paired with clear accountability. Celebrating both individual and collective achievements further strengthens a sense of belonging and motivation.
How do you balance the distinct identities and guest experiences offered by Mamula Island by Banyan Tree and Centrale Luštica Bay by Angsana?
Each property has its own unique voice and story. Mamula Island by Banyan Tree is deeply experiential, rooted in history and the local context, whereas Centrale Lustica Bay by Angsana reflects urban sophistication, social vibrancy, and contemporary sensibilities. My approach is to empower each team to fully express their concept while aligning them through shared values: authenticity, uncompromising quality, and a guest-centric mindset. In this way, both properties become complementary, contributing to the overall success of the destination.
How do you see your teams evolving alongside the hotels, and what role do they play in the destination growth?
As the destination develops, our teams must grow with it, both in skills and mindset. A key part of this journey is encouraging colleagues to take pride in their cultural heritage and integrate it into the guest experience through storytelling, culinary traditions, and personalized service. My goal is to build teams
that are confident, curious, and proud, who view luxury not merely as a standard, but as a way of thinking and caring.
What is your vision for the future of these two hotels within the broader destination?
My vision is for both properties to become defining landmarks within the destination, each with its own character, yet complementary in purpose. Mamula Island by Banyan Tree has the potential to emerge as a truly world-class, unique destination, highlighting the island’s history, natural beauty, and ultra-luxury hospitality in line with Banyan Tree standards. Centrale Hotel will continue to evolve as a lively, sophisticated hub at the heart of the community, reflecting local energy and modern guest needs. Together, these properties will help position Montenegro as a multifaceted luxury destination, where heritage, innovation, and lifestyle intersect seamlessly.
What inspires you most about this industry?
Above all, it is the human connection at the heart of hospitality. Passion, creativity, and the desire to craft memorable moments for guests make this industry incredibly dynamic and ever evolving. I am particularly inspired by the dedication and resilience of hospitality professionals, and the pride they take in delivering experiences that remain with guests long after they leave. In an increasingly digital world, hospitality remains beautiful and defiantly human.

For Marko Vukašević, Head of Government and Community Relations, basketball has never been merely a game; it has been a lifelong passion, a vehicle for personal growth, and a platform for meaningful contribution. From an early age, he was drawn not only to playing the sport but also to mentoring and developing others. His journey began with the small basketball club Play Off, where he worked alongside Zoran Vukčević to support young people in developing not only their athletic abilities but also their character.
“This was never just an extracurricular activity,” Marko reflects. “It was a way to remain closely connected to the sport while balancing academic and professional responsibilities. Through basketball, young people learn discipline, resilience, and healthy habits. Witnessing their growth, both as athletes and individuals, has always been immensely rewarding.”

The club’s achievements speak for themselves: three youth championship titles in 2011, 2012, and 2015, alongside recognition for its disciplined approach and a culture defined by genuine commitment to player development. Beyond the club, Marko’s engagement extended to the national basketball federation and continues today through his involvement with the professional club KK Teodo in Tivat, where he remains dedicated to shaping the future of the sport within the community.
What distinguishes Marko’s journey is the seamless integration of professional excellence and personal passion. While thriving in demanding leadership roles, he has consistently invested in nurturing the next generation, demonstrating that true leadership extends far beyond formal titles. His dedication to youth development, sport, and community engagement forms a defining part of his identity, underscoring the belief that the most meaningful achievements are those that uplift others along the way.

For some, music remains a pastime; for others, it becomes a lifelong companion. For Francesco Di Noia, Head of Project Management, this journey began at the age of ten, when he first took up the classical guitar, a childhood curiosity that quickly evolved into a profound and enduring passion.
During his teenage years, Francesco joined a punk rock band, DDT, with whom he recorded three albums and performed extensively at live concerts. The 1990s marked a particularly vibrant era for live music, and for the band it was an exhilarating and formative period, defined by creativity, energy, and a relentless performance schedule.
At around nineteen, together with DDT’s drummer, he co-founded a new band, Mellon Collie, an indie rock group inspired by the distinctive sound and ethos of bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure. This chapter brought an even richer tapestry of

performances and experiences, with music gradually becoming not only a passion but also a meaningful supplementary source of income throughout his university years and early professional life. During this time, he also collaborated with various other bands as a session musician.
A subsequent move to Northern Italy for professional reasons marked the beginning of a new phase. Francesco transitioned into performing as a solo artist, placing greater emphasis on music production while gradually stepping back from the intensity of live performances.
Although his professional commitments today allow less time for playing, his connection to music remains unwavering. From time to time, he reunites with former bandmates in rehearsal studios, rekindling the spirit of the “good old days” and rediscovering the simple, authentic joy of creating music together. Because some passions never truly fade. They simply evolve over time.

The recent CEO Breakfast brought together colleagues from across the organisation for an open, thoughtful and constructive exchange, reflecting our shared commitment to continuous improvement and collective progress.
The discussion focused on several key areas shaping both day-to-day operations and long-term development. In addressing operational priorities, particular emphasis was placed on the importance of safety across all business segments, alongside the ongoing need to review and further enhance existing procedures. At the same time, the conversation looked ahead, exploring opportunities for continued destination development, elevating the visitor experience, and identifying ways to attract a broader and more diverse audience.
Practical considerations were also addressed, particularly those related to workforce support, including employee accommodation and the navigation of administrative processes.
As a project, Luštica Bay is defined by its people and by collaboration grounded in a shared vision, namely the continuous evolution of a vibrant and dynamic community. For this reason, it is essential that our

teams remain connected, aligned, and guided by a common direction. As highlighted by our colleague from the Aftersales team, Anastasija Kovačević, the CEO Breakfast format has proven to be a highly valuable semi-formal platform for communication, providing a space to exchange insights, ideas and perspectives in a more relaxed setting, while strengthening mutual understanding and collaboration across teams.
More than a discussion, the CEO Breakfast reflects a culture of openness, where ideas, challenges and perspectives come together in support of progress. It is through conversations of this nature that the organisation continues to evolve, shaped by the people who contribute to its growth each day.
After one year, the CEO Breakfast has become a wellestablished and highly valued initiative, set to continue into 2026. Stay tuned, you may be among the next colleagues invited to take a seat at the table.

Professional growth is shaped not only by the roles we undertake, but also by the environment that encourages continuous learning, exploration, and evolution. For Teodora Kljajić, Sales Performance and Analytics Coordinator, her journey within the organization has been both enriching and transformative, enabling her to develop continuously while gaining a comprehensive understanding of the business.
The opportunity to observe processes end to end, through both data insights and cross functional collaboration, has allowed her to build a well rounded perspective. This visibility has strengthened her ability to deliver accurate, structured, and meaningful reporting, while developing a deeper understanding of how various functions connect to support overall business performance.

A pivotal element of her professional journey has been her involvement in digital transformation initiatives and system administration. These experiences have provided a strong foundation for process improvement and innovation, while further enhancing her expertise in CRM and internal systems. They have also broadened her understanding of data management, customer lifecycle processes, and reporting optimization, as well as the alignment between operational and commercial teams in driving results.
Equally important has been the opportunity to work alongside supportive and inspiring colleagues who foster an environment where continuous learning comes naturally. Teodora has been particularly motivated by the strong presence of women in leadership roles within the Sales team, whose mentorship and example have played a significant role in shaping her professional development.
This journey has reinforced her commitment to continuous growth, demonstrating that meaningful progress is built on knowledge, collaboration, trust, and a shared ambition to improve together.

Stepping Up:
Joining Luštica Bay marked a defining moment in Nikita Fomin’s career. Relocating to Montenegro represented a significant transition, while the opportunity to contribute to such an ambitious and visionary development aligned fully with professional aspirations. He began in the role of Sales Coordinator, focusing on operational support, yet quickly demonstrated a strong inclination toward the broader strategic landscape by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, optimize workflows, and implement solutions with measurable impact.

An early milestone came through the initiative to propose a solution beyond the scope of formal responsibilities. This proactive approach created momentum for further development and reinforced a belief that meaningful progress begins with initiative. Over time, the role evolved to bridge cross-functional activities and translate internal transformation into tangible results. Today, Nikita contributes to one of Luštica Bay’s most significant initiatives, a project of a scale comparable to that of a city, playing an active role in shaping the foundation of the overall development. The journey has been supported by leaders who recognized potential, placed trust in capabilities, and fostered an environment conducive to growth. Through this experience, a clear understanding has emerged that true professional advancement is defined not by titles, but by consistency, initiative, and the support of those who enable progress. This stage represents an important foundation, with confidence that the most impactful contributions are yet to come.

LEADERSHIFT-THE ART OF GETTING THINGS DONE
Module 4: Managing Operations, Processes, and Projects empowers leaders to turn strategy into action. Participants explore how to analyze demand, assess capabilities, and optimize workflows, applying practical metrics to drive efficiency. Through hands-on, interactive workshops, leaders gain skills they can immediately use to enhance collaboration, agility, and overall team performance.

Our Culture Transformation journey continues to grow and evolve, with every new step bringing fresh insights, ideas, and energy. Today, we have reached an important milestone: 90% of the program has been completed, with more than 200 colleagues already participating in the workshop that reminds us that culture is something we actively create every day.
Each new group brings its own dynamic, diverse perspectives, and open conversations that often lead to those “aha” moments, when we realize just how much the way we communicate, listen, and respond shapes the atmosphere and collaboration within our teams. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants had the opportunity to explore different personality styles, while also recognizing their own “blind spots”, those small, often unnoticed habits or reactions that can influence how we work and interact with others.
Reflecting on the workshop, Milica Sarić, Concierge Agent, highlighted the importance of being truly present in the moment and listening with the intention to understand, rather than simply responding. These moments of mindful communication often become the starting point for stronger collaboration and deeper connections among colleagues.

As we approach the final stage of the program, it is becoming increasingly clear that culture transformation is not just a project, but an ongoing process that grows with us. Every conversation, every workshop, and every new perspective helps us build a more open, connected, and inspiring work environment.
And with only a few steps left to the finish line, one thing is certain, this story is not ending here; it is only gaining its real momentum.

UNPACKING THE STAR
Luštica Development recently had the privilege of participating in an intensive seminar at the Hilton Podgorica, dedicated to Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Employer Branding (EB). The session was led by Lazar Džamić, one of the world’s foremost digital strategists, and offered a compelling blend of practical frameworks, interactive exercises, and thoughtprovoking insights into how organizations can define and articulate a distinctive employer brand.

Representing our team were HR colleagues Dragana Roćenović and Nemanja Burzanović, who actively contributed their expertise and perspectives throughout the dynamic sessions.
The seminar opened with an engaging keynote that established a strong foundation for understanding EVP and EB, while also challenging widely held assumptions about organizational branding. Central to the discussion was the “7-Point Star” model, which provided a clear and structured lens through which to examine EVP. This was complemented by hands-on exercises encouraging participants to reflect on organizational image, mental availability, and the subtleties of cultural identity. The interactive components proved particularly impactful. Participants stepped into the mindset of prospective employees, developing detailed personas for open roles and exploring organizational culture through the lens of behavioural “reflexes,” identifying those that are celebrated, as well as those that may benefit from redefinition. The seminar further expanded on value creation by examining both client and employee propositions, ultimately integrating these insights into a cohesive EVP framework using the HBR matrix developed by Professor Mark Mortensen.
More than a learning experience, the seminar served as a catalyst for reflection and evolution, prompting a deeper consideration of how Luštica Development positions itself as an employer of choice. Equipped with fresh perspectives and actionable insights, our team is well positioned to translate these learnings into practice, strengthening the alignment between our culture, our people, and our employer brand.

The Chedi Luštica Bay hosted the MISSION4WATER training, Sustainable Solutions for Transforming the Hotel Sector, bringing together industry experts, companies, and organizations committed to advancing sustainability and addressing the growing challenge of microplastics.
This one-day program provided participants with an in-depth overview of innovative solutions and best practices, combining insights into EU sustainability policies with practical applications tailored to the hospitality sector.
Participants were also introduced to the Adriatic Green Hub, a regional network that connects stakeholders and supports the development of sustainable destinations. The program concluded with an exclusive hotel tour, showcasing eco-friendly practices and operational innovations implemented at The Chedi Luštica Bay.

Members of the Luštica Bay team also had the opportunity to participate, including Dijana Čolaković, Administration Manager, who shared:
“Participating in this event was a true pleasure. The training offered tangible, sustainable, and practical solutions applicable both in business and everyday life, particularly in responsible resource management. Events like this play a crucial role in raising awareness and encouraging the adoption of sustainable practices.”
MISSION4WATER demonstrates that sustainability is not only a responsibility, but also an opportunity for innovation and growth—setting new benchmarks for responsible tourism.

In celebration of the International Day of Zero Waste in Montenegro, colleagues came together for a golf course clean-up initiative, united by a shared commitment to preserving the natural beauty of our destination. What began as a simple call for volunteers quickly evolved into a meaningful afternoon of teamwork, fresh air, and environmental stewardship.

During the activity, the team collected more than 50 bags of waste, including plastic, general litter, and construction debris scattered across the area. While the task required dedication, participants described the experience as deeply rewarding, a small yet tangible way to give back to nature.
As Mija Nenezić, Senior Sales Operations Manager, shared, the experience felt like “giving the planet a tiny (but enthusiastic!) hug,” adding that it was inspiring to see how a small group with big eco-hearts could make such a visible impact.
For many, the initiative also provided a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues beyond day-today responsibilities. Slađana Đurašević, Junior Digital Transformation Analyst, highlighted that activities like this strengthen not only our environment but also our team spirit: “It was wonderful to contribute to protecting our surroundings in such a simple way, while also spending relaxed time with colleagues and getting to know each other better.”
With great company and beautiful surroundings, the clean-up served as a reminder that even small actions can make a meaningful difference, for our environment, our community, and each other.

Alongside the destination program, Luštica Bay also hosted a dedicated gathering in honour of the women across the company. Set against the serene backdrop of the golf course, colleagues came together for an afternoon of meaningful connection, accompanied by light refreshments and shared moments. It was a thoughtful expression of appreciation for the women who help shape the organisation.
More than a celebration, the gathering reflected the spirit of Luštica Bay’s continued evolution, driven by its people, the strength of their connections, and the experiences they create together. Rooted in appreciation and an openness to change, it told a story of growth, continuity, and the individuals who move it forward each day.

More than a symbolic occasion, this day offered a meaningful opportunity to recognize the everyday moments that shape our workplace culture and strengthen our sense of community.
Kindness lies at the core of high-performing teams. It builds trust, nurtures collaboration, and cultivates an environment where individuals feel seen, valued, and supported. Amid demanding schedules and evolving priorities, even the simplest gestures, a thoughtful note, a shared coffee, or a few words of encouragement, can carry remarkable impact.
To mark the occasion, the Kindness Snap Challenge invited colleagues to complete three small yet meaningful acts of kindness and share their experiences. The initiative was met with genuine enthusiasm, reflecting the positive spirit that defines our organization.

Special recognition goes to Aleksandra Donković, Senior Animator, who was the first to complete all challenge steps and received a symbolic token of appreciation. Her proactive engagement exemplifies the true essence of the initiative: that kindness begins with individual intention and grows through collective example.
Ultimately, the day served as a subtle yet powerful reminder that while major achievements define milestones, it is often the smallest gestures that leave the most lasting impression.

EVOLVING BEYOND LIMITS
At this year’s Split Marathon, a personal milestone unfolded into a compelling story of growth and determination. Among the participants was Rajko Lečić, HR Coordinator, who successfully completed his first half marathon, marking a significant step in his personal and professional journey of continuous development.
The conditions were far from ideal. Persistent rain followed runners throughout much of the race, while strong winds created constant resistance with every kilometer. Combined with Split’s demanding course, the challenge tested not only physical endurance, but mental resilience as well.
Yet, it was precisely these circumstances that made reaching the finish line all the more meaningful. Crossing it in 1:56, Rajko did more than complete the race—he demonstrated to himself what is possible through focus and perseverance. It is in moments like these that true growth takes shape: not in comfort, but in the willingness to push beyond it.
Reflecting on the experience, Rajko sees this achievement not as a conclusion, but as a starting point—a reminder that evolution often begins with a single bold step beyond familiar limits.

Representatives of our company participated in one of the region’s largest gatherings of HR professional,The HRM Congress, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belgrade. The event brought together more than 500 HR directors and experts, featuring 15 panels and 72 speakers addressing topics ranging from employer branding and the future of work to diversity, inclusion, and talent development.

Our HR team was represented by Olga Radović, Chief HR Officer, and Aleksandar Merdović, HR Operations Manager, alongside Maja Bakočević, HR Director of The Chedi Luštica Bay.
The congress provided a valuable platform for the exchange of ideas, sharing experiences, and exploration of practices shaping the future workplace.
During the employer branding panel, Olga Radović highlighted the importance of organizational culture and employee experience:
“It was both an honor and an inspiring experience to participate as a panelist at one of the largest HR congresses in the region. The topic of employer branding offered an excellent opportunity to present what truly defines us—our distinct culture, which remains one of our strongest competitive advantages in the Montenegrin market. What sets us apart is our commitment to engaging employees in meaningful

initiatives, from cultural transformation to ESG, fostering a sense of purpose beyond everyday work.”
On the Diversity and Inclusion panel, Maja Bakočević emphasized the critical role of leadership in fostering inclusive environments: “Diversity and Inclusion is no longer optional, but a true business imperative. We shared insights on how leadership shapes inclusive cultures and how D&I initiatives can be directly linked to performance and business outcomes. The exchange with HR professionals across industries was particularly valuable.”
“The Congress provided valuable perspectives from a wide range of companies, as well as a strong platform for professional networking. The sessions were engaging and offered practical ideas applicable to everyday work, along with fresh insights into evolving HR strategies,” said Aleksandar Merdović, reflecting on the networking opportunities and practical takeaways.
This experience reinforces the importance of knowledge sharing, continuous learning, and staying aligned with modern HR trends to support the growth and development of both our people and our organization.

As part of Luštica Bay’s ESG wellbeing initiatives, colleagues gathered for a Celebrate Healthy Life session titled “The Power of Consistency: Turning Training into a Habit.” The workshop was led by Ivan Vučićević, Fitness & Recreation Manager at The Chedi Hotel, who shared practical advice on building consistent training routines and maintaining healthy lifestyle habits.
The session focused on the importance of consistency, showing how small, everyday changes can gradually lead to long-term healthy habits and a more balanced lifestyle.
“I really enjoyed the workshop, especially because it emphasized how small changes can lead to longterm habits. It highlighted the importance of building a personal system and developing a consistent training routine, as well as the value of perseverance and not giving up. It was a very useful and inspiring session, offering practical advice that can easily be applied in everyday life.”- Srđana Bjelica, Budgeting Analyst
The workshop is part of Luštica Bay’s ongoing efforts to promote wellbeing and encourage employees to adopt healthier lifestyles.

On the occasion of World Health Day, an educational lecture for pupils was held at “Branko Brinić” Primary School in Radovići, organized by the Luštica Bay Medical team. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining good health and adopting healthy lifestyle habits from an early age.

Through an interactive session, pupils learned about the importance of balanced nutrition, regular physical activity, and making healthy choices in everyday life, with a particular focus on prevention and developing healthy habits from a young age.
“Preserving health is one of the most important goals for every individual. That is why it is essential for children to understand the importance of proper nutrition, physical activity, and healthy choices from

an early age,” said Dr. Jovan Keković of the Luštica Bay Medical team.
The LB Medical team emphasizes that initiatives like this reflect their ongoing commitment to the local community through education, prevention, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. In addition to working with children, the team regularly organizes internal health education sessions for employees across the Luštica Bay destination.
