TCS Lidingöloppet 30 / TCS Lidingöloppet 15 / Junior and Veteran 15 km Before COLLECTING YOUR NUMBER BIB To collect your number bib, bring your Start authorisation with your personal QR code to the number bib collection. There you scan your personal QR code and your number bib will be printed, handled by a race official and given to you. If you want to hand in your bag or warm up clothes and need labels for these, you print the labels directly after you received your number bib. Pick up your number bib at the Sports Expo at Lidingövallen on Friday 09:00-21:00 or Saturday 07:3015:00 (no later than 60 minutes before your start). If possible, pick up your number bib on Friday. Please fill in the information on the reverse side of your number bib.

THE START The start is at Koltorp. Enter the start gate at the marked entrance. The start gate opens 20 minutes before your start and closes 10 minutes before. Information signs will clearly indicate when it is time to enter. If you start in an earlier start group, you will automatically be disqualified. Starting in a later group results in an automatic time penalty that cannot be reversed.

BAG SAFEKEEPING Drop off your bag at Lidingövallen. It can be trans04

ported to the finish area Grönsta, for SEK 40 in cash or Swish, or left and collected at Lidingövallen free of charge. Follow the instructions.

WARM UP CLOTHE S Plastic bags for warm up clothes are provided to you at the number bib collection. Close the bag thoroughly and attach the provided sticker to it. On the right side of the start gate there are hay trailers where you drop off the plastic bag with your warm up clothes. Leave your plastic bag before you enter in the start gate. Only the plastic bags, no bags/baggage, can be left here. Pick up your clothes by showing your number bib after the race. No valuables are allowed in the plastic bag. TCS Lidingöloppet is not responsible for lost valuables if left in the plastic bag.

During COUR SE MARKING The course 30 km is marked with red/white striped tapes and blue/white metal signs indicating that you are on the right track. The 15 km course is marked with red/white striped tapes and black/white metal signs.

ROAD CROSSING S Runners may be held back at certain road crossings to allow traffic through at certain points. You are not allowed to go against the race officials instructions!

TIME LIMIT

Junior and Veteran class

After MEDALS Participants completing the TCS Lidingöloppet receive a bronze medal. If you believe you finished within the silver medal time and started in start group 2 or higher, head for the results tent after crossing the finish line. There, your exact result will be checked and your bronze medal will be upgraded to a silver medal if you have achieved the silver standard time. See the silver medal times at tcslidingoloppet.se.

PRIZE S The award ceremony for the top six runners in the M30 and K30 categories and for the top three runners in all other categories will take place on stage immediately after the race. All other prize winners will receive their prizes in the Award ceremony tent next to the Results tent. Prizes will be awarded for places 7-15 in the M30 and K30 categories. In all other categories, prizes will be awarded for places 4-10. See also Junior and Veteran categories. Please note that prizes must be collected at the race. Uncollected prizes will not be sent out after the event. The men’s 30 km category will feature a 5-man team. The winning team will win a listing on the team prize Carl Milles’ “God’s Hand” statue. The winning team is the club with the best total time for its top five runners. TEAM COMPETITION:

Along the 30-km course, there are a number of check points you need to pass before the times indicated: 15 km – Fågelöudde 16:15 20 km – Grönsta 17:00 23,8 km – Uddvägen 17:40

Junior and Veteran 4-10 km Classes with start at Grönsta gärde, 4 and 10 km: P/F 17-19, K22, K50-80, M60-80.

PRIZE S Award ceremony for the top three runners in the M70 and K70 categories. Places 4-6 are awarded in the award ceremony tent. Award ceremony for the top three runners in the M80 and K80 categories. In all other categories, there will be an award ceremony for the top three runners. Places 4-10 are awarded in the award ceremony tent.

After HONORARY AWARDS If you have participated in at least ten races, you will be awarded the Pink Ribbon Race 10-year diploma. Please submit your name and address and the years you participated to the Lidingöloppet office. The same applies if you have participated in 20 races.

Participants completing the race will receive a bronze medal. If you finish under 50 minutes, you will get a silver medal. In that case, head for the results tent after crossing the finish line, where your result will be checked and your bronze medal will be upgraded to a silver medal.

PRIZE S The 15 top runners will get a prize. The award ceremony for the top six runners will take place on stage immediately after the race. All other prize winners will receive their prizes in the Award ceremony tent next to the Results tent. The best Swedish runner will be awarded the Enhörna IF’s Astra-Diana scholarship. Team competition: The winning team will win a listing on Carl Milles’ “God’s Hand” statue that was founded in 2004. The winning team is the club with the best total time for its top three runners. Please note that prizes must be collected at the race. Uncollected prizes will not be sent out after the event.

COLLECTING YOUR NUMBER BIB Number bibs are collected at the Sports Expo at Lidingövallen on Friday 09:00-21:00, Saturday 07:30-15:00 or Sunday 07:30-14:00. There is risk for queues at the number bib collection on Saturday morning. If possible, pick up your number bib at another time; in any case no later than 60 minutes before the start. Wear your race bib on your chest during the race.

TIMING CHIP Your chip is attached to the back of the number bib. Do not remove it. Timing starts when the start gun is fired and finishes when you cross the finish line. No times are recorded in Knatteloppet so you will not need a chip.

START AND FINISH Your race start and finish at Grönsta gärde.

During THE COUR SE The TCS Lilla Lidingöloppet course lengths are 1.7 km, 3 km and 6 km. The 6-km course is two laps of 3 km. See map of the different courses. The course is marked with red/white tapes. Race officials show the way at some points.

ACCOMPANYING RUNNER S

MEDAL AND DIPLOMA Participants completing the race receives a bronze medal at the finish line. The winner gets a gold medal and the runner-up a silver medal. In Knatteloppet, all participants receives a Knatteloppet medal. Diplomas will be sent by email two weeks after the race to participants completing the TCS Lilla Lidingöloppet. Knatteloppet diploma can be downloaded and printed from tcslidingoloppet.se.

PRIZE S The top 30 runners in each category receive a prize (does not apply to the Knatteloppet). The top 6 runners receive their prizes at the award ceremony on stage shortly after the race. All others collect their prizes at the Prize tent next to the stage. Assar Blomquist’s scholarship will be awarded to the winners in the F15 and P15 classes.

MEETING POINTS Agree on where and when you will meet after the race. Also, write parents mobile number on the back of the number bib and/or on your child’s wrist. Keep in mind that mobile phone coverage can be limited due to the large crowd.

REFRE SHMENTS Water, Festis drinks and fruit at the finish.

In Lidingö Knatteloppet accompanied children start in the 2nd and 3rd start group.

TIMING AND SPEED

Pick up your number bib from 12:00 at Grönsta gärde. Attach your number bib to your chest and wear it visibly during the whole race.

No times are recorded in this race, so choose your own pace.

START

Sports drinks and water will be available at one drinks station along the 4-km course and at two drinks stations along the 10 km course: 6,3 km from the finish line and 3 km from the finish line.

The start is at Grönsta gärde. Both the 8 km and the 4 km start at 14:00. The 8 km course are two laps on the 4 km course. Warm-up starts 10 minutes before each start.

Info - A to Z ACCOMMODATION For 60 SEK parking (without electricity or water) is available during the weekend at Danica sports hall, Högsätra school, Tryffelslingan, Hantverkshuset and Canadaängen from 17:00 on Friday to Sunday 15:00. Note: Very limited number of places!

The competition rules of the Swedish Athletics Association apply to all participants.

CARAVAN/MOTORHOME:

Bring your own sleeping mat. Free accommodation on gym hall floors with all-night open office near the start/finish area – Hersby and Källängens schools. No advance booking required. Please show consideration and keep noise to a minimum if you arrive after 22:00. The accommodation can be used from Friday at 17:00 to Sunday at 15:00. Groups can book accommodation together in classrooms at Hersby schools at boende@lidingoloppet.se. Price: SEK 175 SEK/person per night. Breakfast is served at Källängens and Hersby schools on Saturday and Sunday 06:30-10:00. Price SEK 75 (in cash or Swish).

DROPPING OUT If you need to drop out of the race, report this to a race official at the nearest drink station or at the Information tent at Grönsta. Runners who drop out of the race will eventually be transported by car to the finish area Grönsta. If a participant do not complete the race, the participant is not allowed to cross the finish line.

COMPETITION RULE S

Can be made subject to availability online no later than 60 minutes before the start.

TCS Lidingöloppet is an ECO-labelled event. Please help keep the race area and tracks free of litter. Remember – it’s forbidden to litter. Sort and dispose of your litter at designated areas. Make sure you bring your litter to the next drink station if you bring your own drinks and snacks. Opt for carpool or public transport with SL and TCS Lidingöloppets free shuttle bus (Ropsten-Lidingövallen and return).

APP

Please change clothes before coming to the race. There are changing facilities and showers at the finish area at Grönsta gärde. Showers are also available at the accommodation sites (please see map) and at Lidingövallen.

There are activities along the course: musical entertainment, cheerleaders, coffee, photo station, massage, etc. Find out more at tcslidingoloppet.se.

CHANGING AND SHOWER

Can be downloaded from the tcslidingoloppet.se results page 2 weeks after the race. If you ordered a diploma at your entry, it will be sent to you 3 weeks after the race. You can also order the diploma for SEK 50 by contacting the race organiser.

HONORARY AWARDS If you have completed TCS Lidingöloppet 30 or TSC Lidingöloppet 15, 25 times, you are entitled to the TCS Lidingöloppet gold medal on a plaque with your name engraved (one race per year maximum). Runners having completed TCS Lidingöloppet, regardless of which class, receive a 10-, 15-, 09

20-, 30-, 40- and 45-year diploma. There is a 10-year diploma for the Pink Ribbon Race. Please submit your name, address, class and the years you participated to the Lidingöloppet office by 15 October to get your diploma

INFORMATION

These are located at Lidingövallen, the start area at Koltorp and at Grönsta gärde.

LOST AND FOUND

During the weekend, lost items can be claimed at the Information desk at Grönsta. After the race, any lost items that are found and turned in are kept at the Lidingöloppet office for two weeks.

Welcome to the Pre-run party in the restaurant tent at Lidingövallen on Friday between 17:00-19:00. Food is served until 21:00.

MEDAL All participants who complete their race receive a medal featuring a motif by the artist Carl Milles. This year’s motif is “Eurydike”. Lidingö Knattelopp has its own medal.

Doctors will be available for advice one hour before the start at the 30 and 15 km races on Saturday 09:00-14:15. They will also be available at the finish area all weekend 09:3019:00. There will be paramedics at the start areas, drink stations and finish line. Chiropractors or physiotherapists will be located at every second kilometre of the last 10 km of the course. We have over 30 defibrillators along the course.

NUMBER BIB Attach your personal number bib to your chest and wear it visibly befor and during the entire race. There are race officials along the course. Please do not tamper with your number in any way. Note: Please fill in information requested on the reverse side of the number.

Re-seeding can be done during the race weekend.

By entering a race, you accept that your name will be registered and published online in start and result lists at tcslidingoloppet.se. In some cases, TCS Lidingöloppets partners have the opportunity to use Lidingöloppets address register. Pictures may be used in ads for Lidingöloppet and at tcslidingoloppet.se. Contact the race office if you do not want your name or picture published.

Saturday 11:00-19:00, Access Rehab offers massages for SEK 200 in the gym hall at Bo school by Grönstavägen, approximately 200 meters from the finish line at Grönsta gärde. You can pay by card, cash or Swish.

You can order your personal picture from Marathon-Photo that take pictures of the participants along the course and at the finish line. There are photografers that document the entire race weekend for TCS Lidingöloppets use.

RE SULTS Competition results will be displayed in the Results tent at the finish area, in the TCS Lidingöloppet app and at tcslidingoloppet.se.

SHOPPING You can buy sportswear, sports equipment, souvenirs, etc. at Lidingövallen. Opening Hours: Friday 09:00-21:00, Saturday 07:3015:00, Sunday 07:30-14:00.

START AUTHORISATION Start authorisation is sent by email to all entered participans and can be displayed on your mobile device. Bring your Start authorisation with you to the number bib collection to receive your number bib.

SPEED Keep to the right if you run slow or walk. Show respect to your fellow runners along the course. If you listen to music, make sure you can still hear other runners and instructions from race officials.

WARM-UP

Your personal start time is in your Start authorisation All start times can be found at tcslidingoloppet.se or on page 14.

Warm-up is before each race.

TIMING CHIP

The chip is attached to the back of the number bib. Do Not remove it. The timing chip registers your split times, approximately every five kilometres of the 30-km race, and your finish time. Timing starts when your start group has its time to start. Please dispose of the chip in the bins provided after the race. There is another chip on the back of your race bib. Do not remove it! It is an extra safety chip.

TOILETS You’ll find toilets at Lidingövallen, the start at Koltorp, start/finish area at Grönsta gärde and along the course.

TRANSFER RUNNER S NUMBER

VALUABLE S You can deposit your valuables at the Information tent at Grönsta gärde. During saturday you can also deposite valuables on Lidingövallen. If you deposit your valuables at Lidingövallen, they will be transported to the Information tent at the finish area Grönsta gärde, where you can pick them up (only Saturday). We do not accept larger electronic devices, such as laptops and tablets. The fee is SEK 20 in cash or Swish.

A SWEDISH CLASSIC In order to include TCS Lidingöloppet 30 in the Classic diploma, both men and women must complete the 30 km race. The Pink Ribbon Race is part of The Women’s Classic. The Half Classic includes TCS Lidingöloppet 15.

Transferring a runners number bib to another participant is permitted and cost SEK 300. This is done at the Race Office tent at Lidingövallen. Bring the Start authorisation. The runners start number will be transferred to the new runner. Participating in the race with another persons number bib without making the transfer is not allowed! Respect the Race!

TRANSPORT As parking facilities are limited and traffic high, participants are advised to use the public transport services and our free shuttles. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Take the subway to Ropsten, from there use our free shuttle buses to Lidingövallen, where you pick up your runners number at the Sports Expo. The TCS Lidingöloppet free shuttle buses run between Ropsten and Lidingövallen on Friday 09:00-22:00, Saturday 06:30-21:30 and Sunday 07:00-17:00. At other times, regular bus routes 204 and 212 run between Ropsten and Lidingövallen (please see timetable at sl.se). BY CAR: Follow the yellow traffic signs and the directions of the police and the traffic wardens. Parking space at Lidingövallen is limited and cost 60 SEK. 50% of the parking fee is donated to Swedish Canser research. You can also park in Ropsten and then take the free shuttle bus to Lidingövallen.
