JOURNEY OF CHAMPIONS Three 2012 Liberty University graduates tell of their times of sorrow, survival, and overcoming obstacles while trying to accomplish one goal. On May 12, at Commencement, they ended their journey and each has a story of success to share. The heartfelt documentary that will air throughout July tells the stories of these graduates who faced tragedy and never gave up until they reached the finish line.
The doctor would tell my parents that they should just institutionalize me.
I never dreamed that I would be able to go to a college, but I was able to do that too.

BIRDIE AND BOGEY July 14 @ 8 p.m. EST A heartfelt story about a little girl, a father, and the unbreakable bond they share. United in faith, they pursue a daughter’s wish for her father to once again play on the PGA Tour. When Danny O’Connor chooses his daughter, Birdie, as his caddy, the golfing association is stunned. However, when Danny starts to win with the help of his young coach, the world takes notices. Danny’s shot at the PGA is within reach. Just when his position on the PGA tour seems secure, Birdie’s life is threatened with a deadly disease. Without his daughter’s inspiration, Danny must find a way to carry on alone so that he may fulfill his daughter’s dying wish. Birdie and Bogey is a story of determination, friendship, strength, hope, and the bond that is eternal. (PARABLES) (2009) (2 hours)
TREASURE BLIND July 28 @ 8 p.m. EST If veteran Tulsa cabbie Cliff Edwards would look in his life’s rearview, he’d see a string of wrecked relationships and missed opportunities. But, Cliff’s not looking back if he can help it. He’s too busy trying to track down a legendary stash of Civil War gold to cover the trail of debt his life has left behind him. What he digs up instead is the very past he’s tried to bury. He thought he was ready to give anything to find real treasure that would put the pieces back together. However, that was before he discovered what it would cost him. Would it be worth it? (PARABLES) (2008) (90 minutes)

A NATION ADRIFT (PARABLES) July 8 @ 7 p.m. EST (1 hour) “A Nation Adrift” masterfully chronicles American history from Christopher Columbus to the present – and in the process, clearly documents where and how the greatest nation on earth has gone astray, as well as the way back.
THE CRABB FAMILY GRAND FINALE July 14 @ 7 p.m. EST (1 hour) The Crabb Family returns to the stage for a nostalgic final performance, drawing from their rich legacy of hits and treasured southern gospel standards to leave a lasting mark on music history. Captured live at the Tennessee Theatre, this 20 song recording showcases the best in contemporary and traditional southern gospel.
WARRIORS OF HONOR (PARABLES) July 15 @ 11 p.m. EST (1 hour) The Revolutionary War united America. Less than one hundred years later, a bloody Civil War divided it. Most Americans believe that Southerners fought to preserve slavery; however, a much deeper divide existed between the North and South. Two drastically different cultures had emerged on the American landscape. This well produced documentary places the war in its historical and cultural context. It guides the viewer through the causes and the major battles of the Civil War while providing insight into the lives of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Both were masterful generals, brilliant strategists, and, above all, faithful Christians. The faith of these “Warriors of Honor” governed their lives on and off the battlefield, and their legacies continue even today.
THE COMEDY BUS: LAUGH OUT LOUD July 21 @ 7 p.m. EST (1 hour) Non-stop hilarity at its best! You’ll laugh your socks off as funny guys Cleto Rodriguez, Paul Aldrich, Bean & Bailey, Robert Lee, Richard Praytor, and Mike Williams perform zany stand-up routines that blend faith and fun for your family and friends. This is comedy on steroids! Includes “Meet the Comedians” bonus track.
CHRISTIANITY AND ISLAM PARTS 1 & 2 (VISION VIDEO) July 28 @ 6 p.m. EST (1 hour) Words unfamiliar to most Americans are now heard daily on the evening news: jihad, Islam, Allah, Quran, fatwa, imam, ummah, Ramadan. Today, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world, with more than 13,000 mosques in North America alone. Now that Muslims are our neighbors, how do we talk to them about Christ? What do Muslims think about Jesus? Which beliefs do we share in common with Muslims and where do we differ from them? Do we worship the same God they worship? Noted theologian, best-selling author, Dr. Timothy George, teams with T. N. Mohan, producer-director of the award winning films, “Hanged on a Twisted Cross,” “Here I Stand,” and “For One English Officer,” to answer these and other questions in this visually rich four-part TV series. The programs set forth basic and foundational differences between Christianity and Islam and the implications for how we understand God, Christ, and the meaning of salvation.
BROOKLYN TAB: MIRACLE OF HOPE July 28 @ 7 p.m. EST (1 hour) “Hope” is not a word typically associated with the Louisiana State Penitentiary at Angola. But, that is exactly what The Brooklyn Tabernacle Singers brought to one of the country’s most dangerous maximum security prisons.
