Dear Liberty Alumni Family,
I am deeply grateful for your support, which has enabled the Liberty University Alumni family to flourish into a growing community. Every individual is a valued member who contributes in unique ways, bringing encouragement, strength, and hope to others. Together, we are building something that not only uplifts lives today but also leaves a positive impact that will ripple outward for generations to come.
At the heart of Liberty University’s mission lies an awareness of the eternal significance of what we share and the relationships we form. We are continually reminded of the life-changing sacrifices that inspire us to live as Champions for Christ. It is this foundation that empowers us to walk forward with courage, knowing that our service to others is not just about the present moment but about shaping a legacy that endures through eternity.
In this short booklet, you will read about the recent growth of our programs. We are excited about the upward trends we are seeing and are exceedingly thankful because this is only possible with your support of our Liberty family.

OVER 50 EVENTS HELD
3 NEW ALUMNI CHAPTERS LAUNCHED
24 SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED MENTORSHIP PROGRAM INTRODUCED
JANUARY :
The Alumni Association Scholarship Fund is 100% funded by Liberty alumni to support students in financial need. The majority of the scholarship's funding comes from The Champion Club initiative. Our alumni community has made a lasting impact on the lives of some of our students.
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED TO:
• Current Liberty University juniors and seniors
• Students of the highest need
• Legacy students (children of alumni)
• Students in good academic standing
24 students — 6 juniors and 18 seniors — received critical financial assistance this year. Recipients represented majors in education, engineering, nursing, divinity, business, arts & sciences, communication & the arts, and health sciences.
In January, alumni awarded these students a total of $112,500 in scholarships — a 125% increase from 2024!

Here's how some of these Champions for Christ plan to impact their professions for Him:
"I am originally from Jordan, where I grew up as a missionary kid, and it has long been my dream to pursue a career in medicine. I hope to go on to medical school and, ultimately, serve communities in need, especially in the Middle East."

In January 2025, Liberty launched Champion Connect, a professional networking platform for alumni and students. Fully integrated with social networks, Champion Connect has seen remarkable growth: over 12,000 members joined in 2025, bringing total membership to over 52,000. The platform is used for job postings, networking, messaging, application submissions, and more; the year saw over 10,000 such interactions.

Launched a new way to foster community, engagement, and networking in different regions
Held Convo on the Road events in Dallas, Texas, and Raleigh, N.C.
JULY:
MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
In 2025, we launched our first ever Alumni Mentorship Program, hosted on the Champion Connect platform. Alumni were paired with students based on industry/field, degree program, and interests. 132 mentorship pairs completed the 6-week program together.
AUGUST: ALUMNI CHAPTER LAUNCH
August featured a special event to launch the Nashville Liberty alumni chapter. Area LU alumni enjoyed a backstage guided tour of the Grand Ole Opry and lunch at Paula Deen's Family Kitchen.
In other alumni chapter launches this year, the Winston-Salem chapter held its first event at family entertainment destination ROAR for bowling, mini golf, lunch, and more, and the Tampa alumni chapter kicked off with a daytime private charter cruise!
OCTOBER:
ON GIVING DAY
The Champion Club is Liberty's multilevel membership program that lets alumni choose between five levels of impact. Club membership contributions help fund the Alumni Association Scholarship, which aids students in financial crisis or need, and also serve the alumni community by supporting alumni chapters and events.
The Champion Club raised over $78,000 during Liberty’s 24-hour Giving Day fundraising event, contributing to the record-setting success of Giving Day 2025.
OCTOBER-NOVEMBER:
The Office of Alumni Relations hosted or participated in several events as part of Homecoming 2025, including:
• The first annual Golden Alumni Luncheon, welcoming graduates of the Liberty classes of 1974–75 to Tall Oaks, the estate of founder Dr. Jerry Falwell
• The annual Alumni Breakfast, attended by over 500 alumni and family members
• The Alumni Tailgate and the traditional Homecoming Parade down University Boulevard
