FLEXIBILITY LUOA’s online courses allow students to access their class materials 24 hours a day, providing both flexibility and convenience for varying schedules. Students can enroll in LUOA at any point throughout the year, so there is no need to delay a move or wait for the end of a traditional school year. Students can also use a self-paced schedule during a 10-month period in order to fit their coursework around their busy lives!
SUPPORT LUOA students always have access to their teachers via the curriculum message system or by phone during regular office hours. Each student is also assigned a personal academic advisor. Technical support is available through Liberty University.

Electives include classes such as guitar, public speaking, creative writing, and foreign languages, with new courses continually being added. Based on transcript and placement tests, LUOA can customize a series of courses to meet your student's educational needs.
ROLLING ENROLLMENT Enroll your student at any point throughout the year. LUOA courses are offered in both full-year (containing 10 units, equivalent to one credit) and half-year formats (containing five units, equivalent to a half credit).

Registration includes four steps, but you are only required to complete two of them — the application and Financial Check-In (FCI). LUOA will complete the remaining steps and provide you with the information needed to begin your coursework.

WILLIAM BYRON NASCAR Driver
A former LUOA student, Byron is now enrolled in Liberty University's online program while pursuing his NASCAR dreams. He earned multiple victories this year in the Xfinity Series and even clinched a spot in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs! In 2018, this Charlotte, N.C., native will be driving the #24 in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series as a member of the Hendrick Motorsports team.
MICHAEL ANDREW Professional Swimmer
Junior LUOA student Michael Andrew set the world swimming record on the 100-meter breaststroke, and as the youngest American swimmer ever to turn pro at age 14, Andrew is expected to compete for the U.S. in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
DUAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM À LA CARTE TRACK
Through a partnership with Liberty University, high school juniors and seniors enrolled in LUOA can take online college courses and begin earning college credit while satisfying their high school requirements. The dual enrollment program launches students into college early, offering courses online in eight-week subterms throughout the year and at a discounted tuition rate — approximately 75 percent less than Liberty University’s residential part-time tuition rate. Each course earns a half credit toward high school requirements, and most earn three credits designed to transfer to colleges and universities nationwide.
ASSOCIATE DEGREE TRACK Upon completing all requirements, your student can graduate with both their high school diploma and college credits that align with an associate degree awarded by Liberty University. This option can save them time and money on their bachelor's degree, regardless of where they attend college.
GUARANTEED COLLEGE SAVINGS LUOA graduates who eventually enroll in one of Liberty's online programs to pursue a bachelor's degree will receive a 15 percent discount toward regular tuition.
