Your Intensive Experience Your intensive will be held at the Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel. Please note that your reservation will be made with the hotel by Liberty University. Prepare for Success While in Orlando, you will spend time getting to know faculty and other students during classes, workshops, meals, and other activities. Before you arrive • Prework and postwork are likely required for your intensive course. To adequately prepare for your time in Orlando, be sure to log into Blackboard at Liberty.edu/Blackboard and submit all prework that is due before your arrival. • When packing for your intensive, pack business casual clothing and footwear. Bring a sweater or jacket, as the conference rooms might be chilly. • If you have not already done so, please complete the Airport Transportation form, which has been sent to your Liberty webmail account, by the Monday prior to your intensive start date regardless of whether or not you will be taking advantage of the service. This will ensure the hotel’s transportation services are accurately scheduled. When you arrive Settle in before your class begins by completing the following: • Find your classroom location and familiarize yourself with the area. Updated room assignments will be provided at the Welcome Reception in the lobby of the hotel. • Visit the hospitality room to receive assistance from a Liberty University Hospitality Team Representative.
Food & Fellowship Intensive Welcome Reception Sunday, 5-6 p.m. | Lobby The Welcome Reception is a great opportunity to connect with classmates and professors while learning more about your week in Orlando. If you have any food allergies, please email those details to intensives@liberty.edu by the Wednesday prior to your intensive start date. Dining Provided for the Week* • Breakfast: Monday — Friday, 7-8 a.m. • Lunch: Monday — Friday, noon-1 p.m. • Dinner: Monday — Thursday, 6-7 p.m. • Snacks will be available throughout the week *Hospitality services and dining are free only for students who are actively attending an intensive course. If you bring friends and family, they will receive a 15 percent discount on food in the hotel dining rooms.
