Stephen Patterson, a school teacher and family man, is offered an exciting opportunity to run for public office. However, his exhilaration quickly vanishes when his younger brother Dave returns home after a long bout with drug addiction. Stephen deeply resents Dave for the damage brought to the family in recent years. He is also disappointed in his parents for welcoming Dave home so generously. Now Stephen has to learn to overcome the bitterness and jealousy, which created a severe rift within the family. Their journey shares the underlying power of forgiveness and God’s unconditional love for His children.

The Truth Prevails: The Undying Faith of Jan Hus Oct. 7 @ 11:00 p.m. EST (1 hour) The Christian History Institute and award-winning filmmakers Jerry and Misha Griffith. Using location footage, interviews with prominent historians and period artwork, this film follow the struggles of Jan Hus and the efforts of modern scholars which ultimately led Pope John Paul II to apologize for the Church’s actions.

LIBERTY UNIVERSITY CENTER FOR WORSHIP PRESENTS THE VINCE LEWIS QUINTET Oct. 13 @ 5:30 p.m. EST (90 mins.) Veteran jazz performer Vince Lewis, who is also an assistant professor of music with the Liberty University Center for Worship, graces the stage of the Liberty University Towns Auditorium for this unforgettable concert highlighting a collection of jazz standards. Guest vocalists Maddy Winer joins the quintet to make this evening something truly special.

TIM JANIS: AN AMERICAN COMPOSER IN CONCERT Oct. 13 @ 7:00 p.m. EST (1 hour) An unforgettable concert special featuring Tim Janis’s lush compositions, interwoven with soaring images of the Maine coastline and other scenic New England settings. Tim Janis conducts the American Symphony Orchestra in New York for this special presentation of music that will inspire and uplift. The show ends with a stirring arrangement by Janis of Amazing Grace, with full orchestra.

ANNIE MOSES BAND: PILGRIMS AND PRODIGALS Oct. 20 @ 2:00 p.m. EST (1 hour) A family of highly skilled musicians inspiring all generations to join in the beauty and excitement of faith, family and music.
