COMMUTER LOUNGE Take a break or settle in for a study session at the Commuter Lounge. In this inviting space, you can connect with fellow commuters, enjoy a cup of coffee on us, and join various events held throughout the school year.
The lounge features:
• A coffee bar, including tea and hot chocolate • A kitchen area with microwave and refrigerator • Commuter lockers (free) • Charging stations • Televisions and board games • Work stations and a color printer • Collaborative meeting rooms You can even reserve a meeting room for an event! The Commuter Lounge is open Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Wednesday and Friday, the Commuter Lounge closes from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

MEAL PLANS Liberty’s award-winning Dining Services offers a range of meal plans specifically designed for commuter students. Plans can include meal swipes for select on-campus dining locations, Dining Dollars, and unlimited access to The Food Court at Reber-Thomas. COMMUTER PARKING Commuters may park in dedicated parking lots at Green Hall, Campus East, and the Academic Commons Parking Garage. You must order a parking decal from LUPD, located in Green Hall, to park on campus. Visit the LUPD vehicle registration page for information on how to register your vehicle and purchase a decal.
COMMUTER COMMUNITY GROUPS Led by Commuter Shepherds, Commuter Community Groups give off-campus students a similar spiritual connection as those living in on-campus residence halls. These groups are centered around Campus Community and have male, female, and coed options. Meet times are varied throughout the week, so no matter your schedule, you’ll be able to find the perfect fit for you.
CONVOCATION An important part of your Liberty education, Convocation is a great opportunity to hear from notable speakers from various professions and backgrounds. Attendance is required for all commuters under the age of 21. Commuter seating will be in an assigned area, and you must check in with a staff member upon arrival. Commuters who are 21 years of age and older are not required to attend. Please check your Liberty email for all correspondence regarding Convocation requirements.
Gain the knowledge, support, and experience you need to successfully acclimate to Liberty’s campus with the Peer-to-Peer Transitional Membership program. New graduate students will be able to connect with current students through a holistic approach that focuses on peer support during the first semester.

GRADUATE STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD Aiming to provide an integrative community, the Graduate Student Advisory Board engages graduate students from all degree programs through events and initiatives that cultivate an atmosphere of well-being, belonging, and community. The board listens to the needs of their peers to promote visibility and influence on behalf of all graduate students. Email GraduateStudentLife@liberty.edu for more information or to join the board.
GRAD CONNECT Hosted each month, Grad Connect events bring graduate students together for a time to network, encourage one another, and learn. These events can include luncheons and lectures from guest speakers who present on various topics of interest.
