Fantasy Fair IZUMO – Inasahama 稲佐浜
Set on the sacred shores of Inasa Beach, this location draws inspiration from the “Month of the Gods,” the time in the old lunar calendar when eight million deities are said to gather here. The scene evokes the Kami-Mukae ritual — the Welcoming of the Gods — with white-robed figures standing in silence, Shinto priests chanting sacred norito, and torches lighting the sand at twilight. Though the gods remain unseen, their presence is deeply felt — a spiritual moment sensed not with the eyes, but with the heart.

Fantasy Fair: IZUMO – Yamata no Orochi 八岐大蛇
This dramatic setting draws from one of the most powerful tales in Japanese mythology—the legendary battle where the storm god Susanoo descended to save the weeping maiden, Kushinada-hime. To defeat the fearsome eight-headed serpent Orochi, Susanoo lured the beast with sacred sake. One by one, he struck down its heads, and from the final severed tail emerged a divine treasure: The Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi. This legendary blade would go on to become one of Japan’s Three Imperial Regalia—a sacred symbol of the nation’s very soul.
