June was a fantastic start to summer! Our community has grown to over 660 members. Summer Zumba and Water Workout classes are now underway. June’s highlight was the 55 Plus Boats and BBQ event at Vasona. Members enjoyed free Pedal Boats and Kayaks followed by grilled hotdogs and ice cream. Members can continue to enjoy the boathouse this summer with $5 off rentals. Dance instructor Mandi did a fabulous job showing us the line dancing moves at June’s Social Dance. Thanks to all who attended these special events, making them extra fun! The fun doesn’t stop in July. Talented instructor Lesley will teach a 30-minute Rumba lesson for July’s Social Dance. Have coffee with Collette Tours on July 20th to learn about upcoming travel abroad trip options. SALA, Senior Legal Assistance, is back for in-person appointments. Look for new badminton and crochet programs. July also means it’s time to secure your seat for the Annual Senior Summer Picnic! Tickets are $5 and the 200 spaces fill fast! Enjoy your choice of Hamburger, Turkey, or Portobello Mushroom Burger from Los Gatos Meats. We are excited to hear Fossil Farms take the stage!
