The first-ever in-person conference in Lithuania specially designated to the topic of LGBTI inclusion in the workplace. The event will explore topics of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), its recent trends, challenges, and good practices, as well as the importance of openness in the workplace. It will highlight how inclusion creates benefits in terms of attracting talent and its retention, better bottom lines, overall performance, and contributing to the work culture and trust between companies and their stakeholders. Event is a part of the project Direction Employment, which created an opportunity for NEET youth of vulnerable/ underrepresented backgrounds to explore their potential in IT. The project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Youth Employment. Moderator: Andrius Francas

KEYNOTE SPEECH Why is LGBTI+ allyship important in the workplace? Karina Arlauskaitė Moody’s Corporation

Karina Arlauskaitė is a senior communication strategist in Moody’s Corporation’s corporate communication group, working in Vilnius. She is responsible for internal and executive collaboration between Moody’s Investors Service and Moody’s Analytics. In 2021 after joining Moody’s, Karina worked to mobilize employees to focus more on the values of diversity and inclusion and co-founded the DEI Committee, which later became Moody’s Business Resource Group.
