Nawalparasi
Bhojpuri
Community Outreach (October 17–19)
Team of HSN arrived in Nawalparasi on 16th of October 2025 and spent two inspiring days with equipping local house church leaders with strategies from Luke 10:1–12 to reach entire households of peace. This season, the mission aims to train 80,000 lay believers by Christmas to engage whole families with the Gospel, following the New Testament “Oikos” model rather than focusing on a single “person of peace.” Eight key principles were shared to show how this approach spreads faith organically and safely. The team was encouraged by meeting leaders from Nepal and India. Pastor Nanda Kishor shared his testimony of enduring 43 days in prison for his faith, and MCPT worker Salish Kumar, who survived a violent attack last year, is now recovering and blessed with a newborn son. God’s faithfulness was evident in providing a new motorcycle for Salish.
During the outreach, 10 believers were baptized, reflecting Spirit-led growth among Unreached and Unengaged People Groups (UUPGs). Despite challenges, these courageous servants continue to share the Gospel.

Surkhet Botechaur- Community Training
In Surkhet Botechaur, our dedicated female MCPT worker continues to serve faithfully. During this year’s Light Festival, she gathered 150 young people from 12 different house churches for a powerful time of learning and fellowship.
The training covered:
• Conducting Prayer Walks
• Using health and hygiene kits for community engagement
• Praying daily for Unreached People Groups
Last year’s teaching on the Person of Peace principle
continues to bear fruit—one participant has since led 60 people to Christ within a year. Looking ahead, next year’s event is planned on a larger scale with an estimated budget of NPR 500,000, of which NPR 100,000 has already been pledged. Many participants traveled 5–10 hours from mountain regions, showing their deep hunger for God and mission.
On the final day, we recorded a podcast featuring a local pastor who runs a dragon fruit garden, cattle, and poultry farm to support ministry needs. His family has planted 11 churches reaching 3,500 believers across Surkhet, Salyan, and Jajarkot. The podcast, focused on the CHE (Community Health Evangelism) model, aims to inspire believers in Nepal and the
Nepali-speaking diaspora toward sustainable, community-based ministry.

The event centered on the theme, “Pain Never Becomes Pointless,” encouraging youth to transform their struggles into purpose. In light of the recent “Zen-Z” protests—a painful and challenging time for Nepal’s young generation—the conference emphasized using pain not as a cause for hopelessness, but as a way to draw closer to Jesus and inspire others. It was a powerful time of healing, empowerment, and renewed faith among the youth of Nepal.
