I have concerns in regards to area 1. This is what everyone enjoys flying in and out/ enjoying seeing farmland while leaving keeneland. Once this land is gone it’s gone forever. There is also a park close to 9/22/2023 19:08:41 that area. Leave the farms for horses especially close to keeneland.

Should be redeveloping old developments and buildings in existing boundaries. When every inch is redeveloped then expand. Notice how 9/22/2023 20:31:41 your eye is east to dump your issues on us. Private I am very concerned with the way this was decided with very little public input. We are losing beautiful land that makes the Bluegrass so unique.Am tired of seeing us concrete over our greenspace for malls, empty apartments and McMansions. Wht are we not putting effort in renovating space within the services boundary? Why are we not first taking an honest look at at Sec8 housing continuing to be provided to people who no longer meet income qualifications? We need to do innovations like these before we destroy precious Bluegrass land around us! Will be watching , as we prepare to vote 9/23/2023 5:22:57 next time. Janus L Gilbert The Mill Ridge Farm area is beautiful and part of the entrance to Lexington from the airport. It would be a shame to clutter up that beauty with apartments, shops where we have too many of already vacant all over, and take beautiful green space. Let’s keep the Parkers Mill area as a beautiful farm for folks to see upon arriving in 9/23/2023 8:58:19 Lexington.

We are destroying the very part of Lexington that brings people 9/23/2023 9:20:52 here…by developing anything green we can find. I would like to find our more about the plan to expend area 1. I am a resident of Beaumont Reserve and have many concerns about the expansion area. This area is currently used as a an active horse farm which is essential to Lexington community, heritage, and what makes Lexington so special. We will most likely end up selling our home and move out of Lexington if this proposal (area 1) will come through. This 9/23/2023 16:57:58 is very sad as we love our home, schools, Beaumont area. I think that the developers will not be happy until Lexington is like every other city with all of the green space gone. We need to look at reusing existing developments. We do not need to sacrifice the quality 9/23/2023 17:52:02 that makes Lexington unique.

Area 1: a new neighborhood in this area will overburden already over capacity schools and ruin the horse country atmosphere (especially driving into town from the airport). Instead of just building to build, how 9/24/2023 21:15:07 about focusing on improving areas already in town? Robin McCord
