Beyondtheclassroom,weekendshavebeenfilledwithadventure andfun,fromrollercoastersandiceskatingtobowlingandrock climbing,givingeveryonethechancetochallengethemselvesand enjoytimetogether.
Asthetermdrawstoaclose,Iwouldliketowisheveryoneawellearnedbreak.Wesaygoodbyetothoseleavingus,whowillbe greatlymissedandlookaheadtothenewyearwithoptimism, hopingitbringsmanymoreexcitingopportunitiesandmemorable momentsforeveryoneinAntonyHouse.

Aswellasacquaintingthemselveswith theschoolgrounds,theboardersset offforatriptoThorpeParkontheirfirst weekendback.Theoutingwasthe perfectwayforeveryonetoreconnect withfriendsandeasebackintoschool lifeatLewestonafterthelongbreak. Theybravedrollercoastersofall shapesandsizesand,nodoubt,made someamazingmemories. Thestudentshadtheopportunityto paintpotterywhichwastheperfect waytorelaxandgetcreative!
Equestrian
Theboarderstookpartina relaxingmindfulnessweekend designedtohelpthemunwindand recharge.Boarderscouldchoose fromawidevarietyofwellbeing activitiesfromyogatofamilydog walkandafternoontea.

CLIMBING
Theboardershadanadventurousday rockclimbing,challengingthemselveson avarietyofindoorandoutdoorwalls.They carefullyplannedeachmove,gripping holdsandfindingtheirfootingwhile encouragingoneanothertoreachhigher. Witheachsuccessfulclimb,their confidenceandteamworkgrew,asfriends cheeredfrombelowandofferedhelpful tips.Bytheendoftheday,theboarders wereexhilaratedandproud,having pushedtheirlimits,celebratedeach achievement,andenjoyedanexciting, activeexperiencetogether.
BOWLING
Theboardersenjoyedalivelyafternoon bowling,competinginfriendlymatches fulloflaughterandplayfulrivalry.They tookturnsaimingforstrikesandspares, cheeringeachotheronandcelebrating everyknockdown. Asthegamescontinued,theatmosphere wasfilledwithexcitementand camaraderie,withplayfulbanterand high-fivesallaround.Bytheendofthe session,everyonehadhadagreattime, sharingfunmomentsandmaking memoriesthatbroughtthegroupeven closertogether.
Theboardersenjoyedthe variouswellbeingactivitieson offerwhichincludedportrait painting,boardgamesand touchrugby. Boardingstaff alsoranagingerbread decoratingcompetitionanda Christmasdecoratingsession togettheboardersintothe festivespirit.
Thewellbeingexeatweekends areawelcomeopportunityfor thestudentstofocusontheir physicalandemotional wellbeing,slowingdowntheir busyschedulesinorderto socialiseandhavefun.
BATH CHRISTMAS MARKET
ICE SKATING, BOURNEMOUTH SHOPS, RINGOS
Boardersenjoyedanaction-packedweekendfilledwithwinterfun astheyheadedoutforringosandiceskating.Fromlaughingtheir waydowntheslopestoshowingoff(ordiscovering!)theirskillson the ice, students made the most of the chance to unwind and spend time together. It was a brilliant mix of excitement, teamwork, and plenty of cheerful wipeouts just what a winter weekendshouldbe!
