Dear Lemon Bay Members, Please bear with me, as this edition of Eagle Speaks may be a little longer than usual. But since it will be my last, I hope you will allow me Damon Williams the opportunity to make sure I do justice to a General Manager place and a group of people who have meant so much to me over the past five years. As many of you know, I have made a very difficult decision to resign as General Manager of Lemon Bay Golf Club and accept the General Manager position at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club. My last day at Lemon Bay will be September 13th. To say this decision was bittersweet would be an understatement. Five years ago, the Search Committee took a chance on me and gave me the opportunity to lead this Club. I will always be grateful to each of them for the trust they placed in me. That opportunity changed me professionally and personally, and I leave Lemon Bay a better leader and, I believe, a better person because of the experiences I have had here. I especially cannot say thank you enough to Mr. Powell, Mr. O’Shane and Mrs. Taylor for their support during their respective times as President. Each of you challenged me, supported me and, in your own way, helped give me a new perspective on Lemon Bay and what was truly important. A General Manager's relationship with the President and Board can define his experience at a club, and I consider myself incredibly fortunate for the relationships we developed and the trust you placed in me. When I look back over these five years, there is so much for all of us to be proud of. The Look To The Future project will obviously stand out. We took on an enormous undertaking together, made difficult decisions and ultimately created something that I believe will benefit Lemon Bay for generations. Watching our golf course come back to life and seeing our members enjoy what we had worked so hard to accomplish is something I will never forget. But some of my favorite memories have nothing to do with construction projects or budgets. They are the events, celebrations, tournaments, dinners and countless everyday moments that make a club a club. They are the laughter in the dining room, the competition on the golf course, seeing Mrs. Honey hit a ceremonial first putt, and all the little moments in between that you don't necessarily appreciate enough while they are happening. Of course, our five years together were not without challenges and some of those challenges were greater than anything I could have imagined when I accepted this position. Going through not one but multiple major hurricanes with this Club has left an impact on me that I will carry for the rest of my life. Seeing the devastation, uncertainty and exhaustion that followed, and then watching this membership and our staff pick themselves up and move forward, taught me more about leadership, resilience and community than any class, seminar or book ever could. There were some very difficult days. But there were also moments during those difficult days when I saw exactly what Lemon Bay was made of. I will never forget them.

A Message from the General Manager

To an Extraordinary Team I have said many times that a General Manager is only as good as the people around him, and if there is any truth to that statement, I have been one very lucky GM. The management team at Lemon Bay is second to none in my book. More importantly, they are outstanding human beings who have become like family to me. Cindy Claude — Thank you for your dedication to A Better Shot and, more importantly, to the young people and families it serves. Your passion for the Foundation and your commitment to making a difference in our community are evident in the time and energy you give to its mission. Ryan Hartnett — You have the biggest heart of any golf professional I have ever had the privilege of working with. Your love for this Club and genuine care for this membership come before everything else. Never lose that. It is what makes you special. Ben McCoy — Thank you for being a steady hand, a great listener and quite possibly the best ambassador a club could ever ask for. Your ability to make people feel welcome and your genuine love for Lemon Bay are impossible to teach. You represent everything that is good about this profession and this Club. Eli Rahz — Your tireless pursuit of perfection and dedication to your craft are unmatched. What you and your team have accomplished speaks for itself. But beyond the golf course, I have admired the example you set by showing that you can be an exceptional professional while also being an incredible husband and an unbelievable dad. I have learned a great deal from watching you do both. Kevin Cooper — Thank you for helping us survive situations that, on more than one occasion, could have been much worse. You were always one of the first people willing to go check on everyone and make sure the Club and our people were okay. Thank you also for being my go-to conversationalist about futbol when everyone else probably wished we would stop talking about it. You are a good man, Kevin, and a better father and husband than you probably realize. Chris Ingalls — Thank you for being, without question, the most handsome man in golf. More importantly, thank you for everything you have done alongside Eli to build not only an outstanding golf course, but a great culture within your team. You care

about the people around you, you support the entire Club, and you help deliver a product every day that our membership can be proud of. Hannah Madison — Thank you for making all of us look better than we probably deserved through your communications and for bringing that extra special sauce to our membership process. Your willingness to take on more and more whether for Lemon Bay or A Better Shot never ceased to amaze me. You are truly a joy to work with, and I will especially miss you attempting to keep me current on Tame Impala and whatever else I apparently should be listening to. Bryan Hawn — Your addition to this team took all of us to another level. I cannot thank you enough for the long hours, late nights and countless budget conversations as we worked to put this Club in the best position possible. Your commitment and professionalism have made a tremendous difference, and Lemon Bay is fortunate to have you. Laura Simone — Your personality is infectious, and the energy you bring to the team is special. More importantly, your commitment to the people here comes from the heart, and that is something everyone around you can feel. Thank you for everything you have brought to our team. Kerry Dow — Your support has meant more to me than you probably know, especially during the period after Milton when we had no Controller and I was attempting to do both the GM and Controller jobs, the second one not particularly well! You were a lifesaver. You are also the best grandma around, and remember: if the Knicks can do it, there is still hope for the Cowboys. Michael Durett — Thank you for always being willing to go along with the ideas including some that probably sounded better in my head than they did when I first brought them to you. Thank you for caring so deeply about this membership and about the product you and your team put forward every day. And, of course, thank you for all of those "Red Toyota" moments that I probably shouldn't explain here. You know what they meant, and so do I. To each of you: thank you. I hope the membership understands just how fortunate Lemon Bay is to have these people. Buildings can be renovated. Golf courses can be rebuilt. Programs can be changed. But great people and great cultures are much harder to create. This Club has both.

Celebrating Ryan Hartnett A New Chapter for our Head Golf Professional Ben McCoy Director of Golf

I want to take a moment to congratulate Ryan Hartnett on an exciting new opportunity with Englewood Glass, where he will be joining the sales team and working alongside his brother-inlaw and some of his best friends from his school days. While I am incredibly happy for Ryan, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t going to miss my friend. Ryan is an amazing person, someone who has always been larger than life. After 14 years as part of our family here at Lemon Bay, it has been an absolute honor to work alongside a man who brings the passion and commitment that Ryan does. Over the years, we have shared countless great memories. I have loved watching Ryan grow as a PGA Golf Professional, but even more special has been watching him grow as a husband and father. Seeing him marry and then welcome Jace, Brinley, and Teegan into his life has been incredibly meaningful to me. Ryan is an amazing father and husband, and this next chapter will give him something that is so important: more time with his family, including weekends at home with his young children. That work-life balance is one of the biggest reasons I am so excited for Ryan.

6 | The Eagle Speaks

Ryan has been part of the Lemon Bay family for much longer than his 14 years on staff. He grew up in our A Better Shot program, and from those early days to today, he has always given everything he has to Lemon Bay and to all of us. Lemon Bay will always hold a special place in Ryan’s heart. I can assure you that he loves this place and every one of you. That is something we have talked about many times over the years. I have been very fortunate in my career to work with people like Ryan. He has challenged me, inspired me, and ultimately made me a better PGA Golf Professional—and, more importantly, a better man. The good news is that Ryan isn’t going far. He’ll only be about five minutes away, so while we will miss seeing him around Lemon Bay every day, he will still be close by. I think the world of Ryan, and I have no doubt that whatever he chooses to do, he will be successful. I am incredibly thankful for the time we have shared, the memories we have made, and the friendship we have built. Congratulations, Ryan, on this next chapter. We are proud of you, we are happy for you, and you will always be part of the Lemon Bay family. Ben

Thank You, Lemon Bay Members, for 14 Incredible Years! I also want to share some personal news with all of you. This has never felt like simply a place where I work. Lemon Bay, its membership, and the people I have had the privilege of working alongside have become an incredibly important part of my life. After 14 years, I will be leaving Lemon Bay Golf Club to begin the next chapter of my career. Throughout my time here—even during some of the most challenging periods—the membership has continually stood behind our staff and made us feel valued and supported. I have watched Lemon Bay continue to invest, improve, and move forward while never losing the genuine sense of care and community that makes this Club so special. I will always be grateful for the generosity and support the membership has shown me, as well as the experiences, relationships, friendships, and opportunities I have been fortunate enough to have during my time here. One of the things I will miss most is the incredible team of people I have had the privilege of working alongside. Over 14 years, you spend a tremendous amount of time together, and those relationships become much more than simply coworkers. I have been fortunate to work with so many talented, dedicated, and caring people who have made coming to work each day enjoyable and who have helped make Lemon Bay

the special place it is. I will miss being part of this team more than I can adequately put into words. I am especially and forever grateful to Ben McCoy, who has been much more than a colleague and leader during my time at Lemon Bay. Ben has been an incredible mentor and, more importantly, a great friend. His guidance, trust, support, and friendship have had a tremendous impact on me both professionally and personally. The lessons I have learned from Ben will stay with me throughout the next chapter of my career, and I will always be thankful for the opportunity to have worked alongside him. I am excited to begin my next chapter with Englewood Glass & Mirror, an exceptional local company here in Englewood, where I will be joining the team in residential sales. While I am excited about what lies ahead, leaving Lemon Bay is certainly bittersweet. Fourteen years creates a lot of memories, and more importantly, a lot of meaningful relationships. Although my professional role at Lemon Bay is coming to an end, I look forward to continuing the many great friendships and relationships I have made here over the years. I look forward to seeing everyone around the community—and hopefully on the golf course! With sincere appreciation, Ryan

Fresh Ideas, New Energy & the Season Ahead

Department Update

A Few Thank-Yous

The Food & Beverage Department would like to welcome back Aleaha Ghere from her summer hiatus. Aleaha spent the summer in Rapid City, South Dakota, with her family before returning to Southwest Florida, where she has decided to make this area her home and raise her daughter, Edith. We are very happy to have Aleaha back at the club and excited to welcome her as our new Chef. Aleaha has hit the ground running and is already hard at work developing new menus with the kitchen staff. She is also reorganizing the kitchen workspace to help us better utilize our limited space and create a more efficient operation. We are excited about the ideas and energy she brings to the kitchen and look forward to sharing her new creations with you this season. Madison Mann has spent much of her summer focused on the front of the house. She has been developing training manuals for our waitstaff, working on specialty drink menus for the upcoming season, and spending considerable time improving organization throughout the front-of-house operation. Her efficiency, attention to detail, and organizational skills will be a tremendous benefit to the club as we prepare for another busy season. Over the next month, we will also be completing many of our smaller cleaning, maintenance, and organization projects. As always, this is an important part of our summer preparation. Taking care of these projects during the slower months allows us to keep the operation running smoothly and maintain those standards throughout our busy season.

I would also like to take a moment to thank two great people I have had the privilege of working with during my time at Lemon Bay. First, Ryan Hartnett, our awesome Head Golf Professional. It has been a great pleasure working with Ryan over the past nine years. I have not met a more dedicated and hardworking person. Ryan is the kind of person who would do anything to help anyone at the club, whether it was a member or a staff member who needed assistance. His willingness to help and his commitment to Lemon Bay have been truly appreciated. We will all miss Ryan and wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future endeavors. I am confident that wherever he goes next, he will be a tremendous asset. I would also like to thank Damon Williams for all of his help and mentorship over the past five years. Damon is truly a one-of-a-kind person, as well as a tremendous General Manager. He is energetic, always looking ahead, and constantly thinking about what can make Lemon Bay a better place for both our members and the people who work here. It would be difficult for me to say that I have worked with a better General Manager—or a better person—than Damon. Thank you, Damon, for bringing your upbeat attitude to Lemon Bay and for leading us through some challenging times. I wish you the very best at your next club, and I am certain it will be a great success. Enjoy the remainder of your summer. We eagerly look forward to welcoming everyone back for another wonderful year at Lemon Bay Golf Club! The Eagle Speaks | 9

Course News

Building for the Season Ahead

Course improvements, fall projects, and a heartfelt thankyou to Damon and Ryan Eli Rahz Director of Agronomy

August and September are busy months in the maintenance department. We’ve completed our second major aerification for the summer, and the team is turning our focus toward preparing the course for the upcoming season. Most of our in-house projects have been completed, though our bunker audit exposed some adjustments to be completed before the golf season begins. On the course, we continue refining the landscapes and recently completed most of the plantings for the year. We will still have some trees to install in toward the end of the closure, but the grasses and small shrubs have all been installed. The September closure will see drainage improvements, the elimination of the greenside bunker on #18, regrading to the right of the fairway bunker on #18, and a small expansion of #12 green. We also have several off-course projects planned for the closure. The section of the preserve area that has housed hurricane debris and greenwaste will be recovered with the goal of replanting preserving with the rest of that area. The entrance road will be crack-filled and sealcoated along with the back parking lot, and new parking lot will be installed in place of the grass overflow lot.

10 | The Eagle Speaks

Thank You, Damon and Ryan This month we say farewell to General Manager Damon Williams as he steps into an exciting new opportunity. Damon arrived at Lemon Bay Golf Club not long after I started with a similar purpose: to help move the club forward and strengthen its foundation for the years ahead. His tenure asked more of him than anyone could have anticipated. He guided the club through the significant financial and operational impact of three major hurricanes, oversaw a comprehensive golf-course renovation, and led the acquisition of neighboring property to protect the club’s future character and setting. Throughout those challenges, Damon provided unifying leadership that kept the club moving in the same direction. He spoke directly and respectfully in every situation, and he offered unwavering support to his team. Those qualities made a real difference during a demanding period. We also say goodbye to Head Golf Professional Ryan Hartnett, who is leaving the golf industry. Ryan brought a consistently cheery demeanor to the club each day. His dedication to the A Better Shot program was truly inspiring, and he has simply been a really good guy to work with and around. We are grateful for everything Damon and Ryan have done for Lemon Bay and wish them both every success in their next chapters.

Below is a detailed description of the information provided for the Q3 2025 – 2026 draft financials.

The Balance Sheet

The Balance Sheet provides a snapshot of the club's financial condition at a specific point in time. It shows what the club owns (assets), what it owes (liabilities), and the difference between the two (equity or net assets). In essence, the balance sheet provides insight into the club's financial health, indicating its ability to meet its obligations and manage its assets efficiently. This information is crucial for club management and members to make informed financial decisions. The results and graphics below are DRAFT financial results for the current fiscal year through the first three (3) quarters (11/01/2025 – 07/31/2026).

The P&L Statement

The P&L (Profit and Loss) statement, also known as an income statement, represents the club's financial performance over a specific period. It shows the club's revenues, expenses, and the resulting profit or loss. The P&L statement provides insight into the club's financial health and helps management make informed decisions about budgeting, cost control, and financial planning.

The pie chart below is a representation of how your operating dues are allocated. This includes the net effects of the revenue and expenses produced in Facilities & Administration, Golf Activities & Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. Summer Wrap Up Our summer program has officially ended, and what an incredible 30th summer it was! This year, we were thrilled to have 227 junior golfers and volunteers registered for the program. We capped off the season with our annual “Carnival” Day, which was a huge hit! The kids enjoyed a fun-filled day of games, activities, and, of course, a water slide—the perfect way to celebrate another memorable summer together. We’re grateful to all our junior golfers, families, volunteers, and supporters who helped make our 30th summer so special. We’ve also attached a video highlighting our program and the impact it continues to have on our young golfers. Thank you to everyone who was part of another fantastic summer!

Employee of the Month October

We are excited to recognize Beth as our Employee of the Month! In just seven months with LBGC, Beth has become a valued member of our Food & Beverage team as a server/bartender. Originally from Bennington, Vermont, Beth has enjoyed being part of several special events at the Club, especially working alongside our F&B team to create beautiful presentations and memorable experiences for our members. Outside of the Club, Beth has recently learned to play golf, enjoys pickleball, and loves participating in dog sports with her three Labrador Retrievers—especially dock diving! One of the things Beth appreciates most about Lemon Bay is the strong sense of family among the staff. Having worked at other local clubs, she says she has never experienced a General Manager who treats the staff with the same level of care and appreciation.

Please join us in congratulating Mike, our Employee of the Month! Mike has been a valued member of the LBGC team for the past five years, proudly serving as a Greencap. Originally from Springfield, Massachusetts, Mike brings a great attitude and genuine enthusiasm to the Club each day. One of his favorite parts of the job is simply making our members happy when they arrive at the Club. He also enjoys working alongside his fellow Greencaps and looks forward to the annual staff golf trip. Outside of work, Mike enjoys playing golf and hockey, as well as staying involved in the game as a hockey referee. Congratulations, Mike, and thank you for five great years of hard work and dedication to Lemon Bay!
