May was Showtime. Again. With Toymaster something of a mixed bag (weather and business) but ultimately a success as you will see in our review. The Las Vegas Licensing Expo was a positive experience too: 12,000 attendees engaging with 5,000 brands – not bad at all. And then there was Distoy, a healthy financial success for both retailers and suppliers – with many happy to comment on this.
On a very sad note, we have obituaries for Jane Garner and Clive Wooster. Both were written by those who knew them well.
We also have a happier, younger tune with our Ambassador’s Special. This sees seven-year-old Amelia back in tester mode and enjoying her time on Maped Creativ’s Lumi Board.
