Pro Sports Partners Help LECOM Honor Students at Scholarship Day Ceremonies
On March 28, the Bradenton campus honored 65 students alongside representatives from the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Tampa Bay Rays, and New York Yankees, whose combined generosity contributed $167,652 to the LECOM Student Scholarship Fund
On April 11, the Erie campus recognized 69 students with representatives and mascots! from the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, Cleveland Guardians, Cleveland Browns, and Cleveland Cavaliers in attendance, reflecting a combined donation of $364,350 to the Fund

On April 13, Barber National Institute and LECOM Behavioral Health announced a coordinated realignment of behavioral health services, under which Barber National Institute will integrate select behavioral health services into its existing children, youth, and adult programs, while LECOM Behavioral Health will expand its role to continue community based behavioral health services currently provided by Barber National Institute, ensuring individuals and families have a clear path to care.

LECOM Behavioral Health Resources for Integrated Development, Growth, Engagement, and Support (BRIDGES) for Older Adults empowers community-based organizations and aging and disability network members to effectively Recognize, Respond to, and Refer older adults with behavioral health concerns in community-based, evidence-based chronic disease self-management programming. The first three free, facilitator-ready training and toolkits designed for chronic disease selfmanagement and other evidence-based programs serving older adults have officially been published and are now available to a national audience.
