Human enterprise - human work - has created the conditions which threaten to destabilize our climate and our human communities. It is time to re-imagine our enterprise and economic activity as life serving. Anything else is a waste of time, money and human potential. Risky business to attempt a post COVID return to business as usual. It is time for human enterprise to take on the challenge to restabilize the key elements upon which our shared future depends.
This work is about that challenge. It is written as a call to action for emerging and existing leaders. It provides a brief for the job that needs to be done. The mission we must undertake - leading as if life matters.
We have one decade to align the aims of human enterprise with the aims of life. Ten years to design livable futures. This work, our work, is an invitation to join the growing number of leaders shaping a future of their own making.
