TRANSPARENCY ACT Due diligence assessment L.Brador is a brand within the Bergman & Beving Group via Skydda Group AB. L.Brador produces workwear for the European market. Our guidelines and procedures for handling actual and potential adverse impacts on fundamental human right and decent working conditions are Based on the UN's Global Goals for Sustainable Development, Agenda 2030. In addition to the above L.Brador works with a Code of Conduct that addresses human rights and secures decent working conditions. The Code of Conduct document includes demands of supplier’s compliance with laws and regulations, basic employment rights; equality, no discrimination, employment contracts, no forced labor and disciplinary measures, wages and working hours, leave and sick leave, freedom of association, child labor and workplace safety requirements1. The document clearly states the different requirements that L.Brador demand suppliers to sign. Suppliers shall also be responsible for ensuring that their sub-suppliers, contractors and agents are in compliance with this Code, as well as assess their performance against this Code. Thus, this Code shall be applicable for the entire Supply Chain of L.Brador. If a supplier identifies any serious breach of the Code in its own operations or in the supply chain, the supplier must immediately report the issue to L.Brador together with an agreed schedule for corrective actions. Suppliers are expected to provide a corrective action plan with date of closure for any issues identified during an environmental and business ethics assessment/audit that do not meet the requirements of this Code. Follow ups and audits regarding the CoC will be conducted, both by internal and independent, external audits. These address various areas, such as environmental risks, work environment, quality, labor law and business ethics. Skydda Group AB are also certified in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001. All L.Brador’s suppliers shall offer a safe, healthy, and sound working environment. Suppliers shall strive to constantly improve measures related to the health and safety of the employees. L.Brador encourages its suppliers to implement a health and safety management system, e.g., ISO45001 or similar. L.Brador’s minimum requirements on suppliers are: • Each supplier shall have a documented Health & Safety Management System or procedures in line with such a system. • Workplace accidents and injuries shall be minimized and eliminated. • Emergency routines must be documented and communicated and whenever necessary also updated.
