Assembly of newly developed prototypes Assembly and sub assembly work of finished furniture goods Excellent experience in using power drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, tape measures, calipers and other common tools Upholstery work of seating products Work with materials such as; steel, wood, aluminum, plastic and foam products Packing of sub assembled products into shipping boxes to be strapped and palatized

Excellent experience in using power drills, screwdrivers, wrenches, tape measures, calipers and other common tools Ability to read & interpret CAD drawings Experience working in a manufacturing environment Mechanical inclined Experience in a furniture or related industry and asset Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be comfortable working in a diverse environment
The Details This is a full-time, permanent position working from our Mississauga head office. Hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm.
The Prototyping Technician will spend approximately 70% of their time helping to assemble newly developed Arconas prototypes with the R & D Department and the remainder of their time will spent in the Production and Warehousing Department, doing light assembly, picking and packing and upholstery of Arconas products.
