OVERVIEW The Fiore is based on 2 simple elements –a Circular Ottoman and five smaller oblong shaped Ottomans. In the plan view, the Fiore can be arranged to look like a flower with five petals. It is designed to provide a playful setting where children can gather. The seating height of the Petals is less than the Circular Ottoman to facilitate interaction between an adult and a group of children. The Ottomans are light in weight so that children can rearrange them easily. .
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS CIRCULAR OTTOMAN The Ottoman is made from moulded polyurethane foam over a core. The core is made from a reclaimed bonded fibre tube caped top and bottom with fir plywood (1/2” top, ¾” bottom). The core is glued and screwed together. The polyurethane foam exceeds CAL-117 flammability. The bottom plate is fitted with 5 adjustable nylon glides.
PETAL The Petals are made from moulded polyurethane foam over a core. The core is made from rigid EPS foam capped with a top and bottom plate made of plywood (1/2” top, ¾” bottom). The core is glued together. The polyurethane foam exceeds CAL-117 flammability. The bottom plate is fitted with 5 adjustable nylon glides.
UPHOLSTERY The Ottomans are upholstered with a customer chosen fabric. The seams around the top edge are French stitched. The cover is stapled to the base and fitted with a dust cover on the bottom surface.
ASSEMBLY Units are shipped fully assembled.
