avide Tonizzo is a designer of diverse skill and experience. The Toronto native studied Mechanical Engineering at Ryerson University before embarking on his industrial design career. He began his work experience in Turin, Italy with the prestigious design house, I.DE.A Institute, designing cars for Alfa Romeo, Ferrari, Fiat, Lancia and other brands. As well, he completed numerous furniture and lighting projects for leading Italian
manufacturers. In 1993, he set up his independent practice in Toronto, Canada. Davide has received numerous awards for his products and his work has appeared in many international design publications. He has worked in diverse product areas from furniture to handbags, from dishware to eco-friendly transportation. An international designer, Davide has worked in Canada, the US, Mexico, Denmark, Spain and Italy.
