CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. The highest bidder to bethe buyer and if any dispute arises between the bidders, the lot in dispute shallimmediatelybeputupagainandre-sold. TheAuctioneersreservetherightofrefusingthebid ofanypersonandtoregulatethebiddings.
2. The purchasers to give in their names and places of abode, in writing and pay the full purchase money for each lot at the fall of the hammer (if required); in default of which the lot or lots so purchasedmaybeimmediatelyputupagainandre-sold.
3. No lot or lots shall be removed from the premises till paid for, but each and every lot shall immediately, at the fall of the hammer, be considered as delivered and be and remain in every respect at the absolute risk of the respective purchasers thereof and shall be removed from the placeofsaleatpurchaser’sexpense.
5. If anypurchaser shallfailtocomply withtheaboveconditions, or anypart of them, theAuctioneers shall be at liberty either to recover in full the amount of the lot or lots bought by such purchaser, without reference to any delivery of acceptance of the lot or lots other than the first delivery by the fall of the hammer, or to re-sell any lot or lots bought by such purchaser, either by public or private saleandthefullamountofthepurchasemoneyatthepresentsale,orthedeficiency(ifany)arising from such second sale, shall be good by the defaulter at the present sale and be recoverable as andforliquidateddamages.
6. No undertaking of the Auctioneers or their servants to take charge of the lots or animals after the sale,ortoforwardthemtotheirdestination,shallbeheldtoimposeupontheAuctioneersanylegal obligationorvitiateanyoftheforegoingconditions.
7. Should any question arise, not provided for in the foregoing Conditions, the decision of the Auctioneersshallbefinalfromwhichthereshallbenoappeal.
Payments shall be taken in Cash or Bank Drafts. Strangers granting cheques must produce satisfactory personal reference or Bankers’ Letter.

Neck tags supplied must be worn by all sheep PRIOR to the inspection.
Individual animal ID numbers on ear tags must match the ID number displayed in the sales catalogue and substitute catalogue.

AUCTIONMARTRULESFORVENDORS
The Shepherd in charge must bring their respective lots forward, take them to and from the Sale Ring, attend until delivered and assist in trucking if required as the Auctioneers will be responsible only for what is delivered to the purchaser. Should the Shepherd not be in attendance at the time his lots fall to be sold, it will be passed over and taken at the end of Sale.
All Stock will proceed in the order of the Catalogue and all lots not previously entered will be sold only when the list is finished.
Purchasers should see that their Stock is correct before leaving the gates, as no deduction can be made afterwards.
No Private Sales prior to the Stock being offered by Auction will be allowed or recognised by the Salesman.
The usual commission must be paid on consignments sold privately within this Market. Every assistance in loading or keeping overnight, for the accommodation only of Buyers, will be arranged, as far as possible, by the Auctioneers, who will not be responsible for loss or damage incurred thereby.
