Interest will be charged on all unpaid amounts after 7 days at 7% over base rate.
The sale is conducted under the IAAS General Conditions of sale, a copy of which is available in the office.
All Blackface Rams must have their catalogue lot number clearly branded on the near horn.
All Blackface Rams will be subject to a 3% Society Levy which will be capped at £60 ie £2000 value.
Lot numbers for all the other breeds will be available at the pens. It is the seller’s responsibility to remain in charge of all rams and to hand the rams over to the purchaser on receiving a pass from the buyer. Delivery mustnot be given without a pass. Mart Staff are not responsible for any mistakes in delivery.
ALL SHEEP MUST BE GUARANTEED CORRECT IN THE MOUTH ON THE DAY OF SALE
All Complaints regarding incorrect mouths must be lodged along with £20 at Main Office after purchase but no later than 2 hours after the conclusion of the Sale. The fee of £20 will be refunded, if buyers appeal isupheld. A veterinary surgeon willbe in attendance and his decision is final.
All rams and ram lambs are warranted by the vendor to be capable of and effective at natural service. If any such ram has proved to be incapable of or ineffective at natural service and written notice to that effect is given to the Auctioneers within 10 weeks after the date of sale then, after proof, the purchase may return the Ram to the Vendor who shall refund the purchasepriceof the animal togetherwith costs of transportand veterinary expenses. No claim for consequential loss will be entertained.
