Please note that it is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that any animals destined for the food chain are out with any withdrawal period. This includes antibiotics, anthelmintics or sheep dip that the seller may have given prior to sale.
The above abbreviations are displayed in the sale ring for each vendor and their appropriate status. As of 1st January 2015 Forfar Mart will endeavour to ensure all farm assurance status’s are correct at the time of sale, however, we will not be held responsible if previous keepers farm assurance status changes between the point of sale and slaughter.
