PIEDRA C OLLECTION Our PIEDRA lighting takes its inspiration from the stone masks of the ancient civilization of Teotihuacán. Carved in the Mexican city of Tecali — which means ‘stone house’ in Nahuatl — the fixtures draw on the clean lines, defined angles, and streamlined silhouettes that epitomize the pre-Colombian stone masks. Sculpted from carefully chosen marble or onyx, each piece reflects the unique character of the individual stone from which it is formed.

Each piece in this collection is cut from carefully selected stone blocks. Every natural stone product is unique; variation in color, tone, veining and pattern is to be expected as part of the stone’s inherent characteristics. Markings, lines and crystallization are not imperfections, but rather a natural part of the stone’s beauty. This collection draws inspiration from the agave and its piña, the dense heart from which mezcal is made. Developed with roots in Oaxaca, where the centuries-old making of mezcal is grounded in craft and ritual, the glass holds traces of that lineage, balancing structure and fluidity to echo the sculptural quality of the plant itself. The forms carry a sense of organic symmetry shaped by both nature and the maker’s hand. Available in four glass colors—Clear, Obsidian, Cobre, and Sierra—each chosen to reflect the tones and textures of Oaxaca. Photos by Leandro Bulzzano and Camila Carrera

CAST BRONZE PENDANTS + SCONCES

Inspired by the layered significance of the calla lily in Mexican culture, this collection blends the bold heft of cast bronze with sculpted, flowing curves that echo the flower’s form. The designs strike a distinctive balance—where the metal’s solidity is tempered by organic, nature-inspired lines.

Partnering with a foundry in Mexico City, we employ traditional lost wax casting techniques— beginning with a hand-sculpted wax model, which is then encased in a ceramic mold before molten bronze is poured. The process leaves subtle traces of its making, revealing the character of the bronze and the hand of the maker.

WOOD LIGHTING FROM GUANAJAUTO, MEXICO

THE COLLECTION STORY Celosías–wooden lattice work–have played a recurring role in Mexican history. From the country’s deep relationship with religion to its Modernist architecture, Mexico’s appreciation for function and beauty is invoked in these structured forms. The wood partitions shield against the intense Mexican sun while allowing gentle, filtered light to shine through. In designing this collection of lighting, we recontextualized the concept of celosias while paying homage to the traditional craft. Mirroring the disciplined workmanship of the lattice work, the fixtures’ clean lines and floating geometric volumes cast a diffused glow. Our Celosía Collection is designed in collaboration with master woodworker Isaac Casteñada in the Mexican state of Guanajuato and is crafted entirely by hand.

AT Z O M PA COLLECTION

CLAY PENDANT LIGHTS FROM OAXACA

OUR ATZOMPA COLLECTION is created in the Oaxacan town of Santa María Atzompa, where the pottery-making tradition has roots tracing back to ancient Zapotec culture. Building on this tradition, we formed a partnership with master artisan Eligio Zarate, whose family has for generations worked to bring innovation to this centuries-old craft. Using a red clay that comes from local mountains, the pieces in this collection are first given form within custom gesso molds. Emerging from the molds, the repeating openwork designs—which play on motifs that are carved in to the stone at Mitla, the neighboring archeological ruins—are meticulously cut out one by one. Each piece is then brushed with a white wash before being fired in a wood-burning pit.

MARTILLADO COLLECTION

Our Martillado wall sconces are an extension of our Árbol Collection from Bolivia. Crafted in La Chiquitania, the collection pays homage to tropical modernism while drawing from Bolivia’s long standing woodworking tradition, dating back to the teachings of the Jesuit missionaries who settled in the region in the 17th century. Formed from sustainably harvested and certified local tropical hardwoods, the face of each sconce is meticulously chiseled to create a pattern of striking undulations. The wood blocks are backed with brushed brass for textural contrast—enhancing the way the light casts from both the base and peak of the fixture.

La Primera Dama, Fernando Botero

The lamps in this collection are inspired by Colombia’s equestrian heritage, layered with a jewel-toned color palette that takes inspiration from the works of Colombian artist Fernando Botero. Talabartero translates as ‘master saddler,’ and the collection draws upon the expert craftsmanship and fine detailing—the stitching, the braiding and the hand tooling—that characterize the best of vintage saddles from the area. Each lamp is crafted from natural grain board-formed leather, guided by the same formation techniques as those used in fashioning saddles, with curves reminiscent of the figures in Botero’s paintings. We’ve partnered with master craftsman Edgar Beltrán Jaramillo and the skilled team in his Bogotá-based workshop to bring this collection to life.

BOLIVIAN TROPICAL HARDWOOD LAMPS

The Árbol Collection is rooted in the Bolivian Chiquitano Dry Forest, where tropical hardwoods are rescued from trees felled as the forest is cleared—reclaimed before they are burned. At the workshop in Santa Cruz, the salvaged roots, trunks, and branches are carefully sorted, air-dried, and stored before being shaped.

Each lamp is defined by the grain, color, and natural form of the wood, carrying the pedigree of its material—no two alike. At its core, the collection reflects a desire to preserve what is ancient and essential, in both materials and techniques. Drawing on the spirit of tropical modernism, the designs embrace their South American roots: clean, elemental forms balanced with the richness of the wood’s natural character.

BARRO BRUÑIDO COLLECTION

B U R N I S H E D C L AY L A M P S

IN THE WORKSHOP This collection is shaped from clay sourced from the Sierra Madre mountains in Oaxaca. Local legend holds that the clay is blessed. Before firing, each piece is meticulously burnished with a curved quartz stone, creating a smooth, reflective surface that gives the clay its subtle sheen. This traditional technique—bruñido—compacts the surface and draws out the natural depth of the material, without the use of glaze. The deep, inky tone of Barro Negro is the result of a firing process in which smoke, heat, and a deprivation of oxygen create an intense carbonization effect. Barro Terra, by contrast, undergoes an open-air firing process that retains the clay’s natural earthy color and highlights its warmth. Created in collaboration with maestro Amando Pedro, our longtime friend and collaborator, in his workshop in San Bartolo Coyotepec, we drew inspiration for the shape from ancient cántaros—the traditional vessels used to transport and store mezcal.
