The application process for Explore 2025 has finished and we have now selected our candidates who will be part of the educational programme that will see them all take part in a learning adventure around the world (read on for more info)
BOARD & STAFF MEETING
At the beginning of each year, our Boa Staff teams have a joint meeting to plan year ahead and oversee the main objec and tasks that we as an organisation w like to achieve.
This is a very interactive and upbeat event that sees a lot of creativity and optimism being at the forefront We are all very passionate and proud of what we have done in 2024 and look to be bigger and better in the upcoming year.
2025 will also see the Board & Staff as well as volunteer network members come together and draw up our new stategic plan - watch this space!
MEET OUR NEW TEAM MEMBERS
SARAH O’TOOLE - INTERN / STUDENT PLACEMENT
Sarah is a 3rd year Social Care Work student from MTU Cork on a 12 week placement with us until the end of April.
As well as a full-time student, Sarah is also a support worker for people with intellectual disabilities and has volunteered with organisations such as Foróige, SVP and Barretstown.
DOMNICA BIVOL - HEAD OF FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION
Domnica has a BA in International Relations, an MBA, and Management Leadership accreditation Domnica is also a member of the Institute of Accounting Technicians Ireland
She specialises in financial reporting, governance, and organisational development, deepening her passion for sustainability - an ethos she looks forward to bringing to the EIL/AFS workplace
Outside of work, Domnica embraces her Moldovan heritage, practices mindfulness, and enjoys gardening for balance and connection to nature..
Domnica has already settled in well and is proudly advocating and raising awareness of our mission at the sector events she’s attended

Domnica (Head of Finance & Admin) attended the AccessEurope event, hosted by The Wheel.
Billy Kelleher MEP presented about the impactful work being done, EU policies, challenges faced and the positive impact the European Union has on communities across Ireland .
The event gave us valuable insight & networking opportunities to see how our mission could be supported
