We cover Christmas events: pages 28-29 cover events from St Mary’s with photos from the Christingle service, and page 2 has photos of the Crib service and of the travels of the Posada to families around the village. Page 23 also features The Village Players carol singing in Launton.
John Stephens writes (pages 24-27) about his time doing National Service at the end of the 1940s. It is 60 years since the last national servicemen stood down.
