The May 2021 issue of the newsletter from the Oxfordshire village of Launton is published in print and distributed to every household in the village, and online through issuu.com. The cover of this 48-page issue shows a working party spreading wood chippings over muddy pathways in the Island Pond Woodland. Three pages of photos feature the 32 entries in The Saint George’s Launton Quest. There are, sadly, obituaries of two well-known village people, Ela Jeacock and Ray Lapper. There is notice of The Playing Fields Association's AGM on 10 May, the regular report from the Parish Council, and the quarterly contribution from MP Victoria Prentis. The third article on new village businesses features Harleco Active, eco-friendly women’s activewear, and there is also the fourth Launton Dog of the Month, a list of road closures, and a brief piece from the Grumpy Old Men. And there is news of upcoming live shows from BCOS (The Mikado), and The Village Players' Summer Show in August.
