The January 2022 issue of the newsletter from Launton in Oxfordshire is published in print and distributed to every household, and online through issuu.com. The cover shows some chilly carol singers outside the Parish Hall in mid-December. This 44-page issue includes a report of the Island Pond Wood photo competition (page 19) and the four winners on pages 22-23. There are two reports from Launton Historical Society: the most recent meeting on page 10, and of the AGM with a request for advice and support on digitising the Society archives (pages 30-31). There is an article (page 14) from Bicester Good Neighbours seeking volunteers. The Launton Plotters report (with photos) on planting their Woodland Trust hedgerow pack (32-33), and regular reports include the Parish Council (4-7), The Village Players (8), Launton WI (16-17), and PHIP (25). There are regular pieces from Danny Cunningham (35-38), Tony Jeacock when the ex-Launton Boy has his 99th piece (38-41), and The Grumpy Old Men write again on page 25.
