• Louisiana Tech picked up back-to-back wins for the first time in C-USA play taking down UAB in Birmingham 61-55 to make it six straight over the Blazers. • LA Tech's defense held UAB (C-USA's No 1 offense) to their low-mark of the season in points (55) and FG% (.283). UAB was held to 1-17 shooting over the first seven minutes in the fourth quarter. • Keiunna Walker has hit 20-plus in four straight games and sits No. 15 on the Lady Techster all-time scoring list, with 1,695 career points, passing Elinor Griffin. Walker hit 13-16 from the line. • Keiunna Walker ranks No. 3 in career free-throw makes (487) and No. 3 in attempts (658). She has also eclipsed 500 made field goals in her career (577). • Lotte Sant shooting .633 from three (19-30) in conference play. • Mackenzie Wurm recorded a career-high five blocks at UAB, making it the fifth time she has posted three or more blocks in a game. Her five blocks mark the most in a single game for a Lady Techster since 2014 (Kevione Moten vs. Mississippi St.) • Anna Larr Roberson became the 44th player in program history to reach 1,000 career points. She now sits at No. 39 with 1,102 career points, recently passing Teresa Weatherspoon. She is also No. 3 in alltime career Free Throw percentage list at .804. • Tech is 8-0 this season when holding teams to less than 60 points and 6-0 when out rebounding the opposition. Tech is also 7-1 when scoring more than 70. • LA Tech returns 10 letter-winners from last year’s C-USA West Division and WNIT squad, including all five starters, while adding Pittsburgh transfer Gabbie Green (sat out last season due to injury) and two freshmen (Ayen Angoi and Anja Bukvic). • LA Tech returns 98% of last season’s minutes, scoring, assists, steals, 97% of their rebounds, and 93% of their blocks. • Keiunna Walker was named the 2022 C-USA Preseason Player of the Year and Anna Larr Roberson was named to the Preseason Second-Team. The Techsters were picked to finsihed second in the prseason coaches’ poll. • Last season, Tech surpassed 500 wins in the TAC and 400 wins on the road. LA Tech is one win away from No. 600 in Ruston. • Brooke Stoehr surpassed 100 wins as the Lady Techsters head coach passing Teresa Weatherspoon for third ont the all-time list. • LA Tech added two new staff members this off-season in Associate Head Coach Nitra Perry and Assistant Coach Pierre Miller. • LA Tech added signed two players on the first day of the early signing period with guards Jianna Morris (Shrewood, Ark./Sylvan Hills HS) and Paris Guillory (Lake Charles, La./St. Louis Catholic). | 1
